Description of Work: They paved the parking area which had previously been a gravel bed. It looks great. It is easy to shovel the snow off it. They are friendly and easy going folks to work with. I'm having them come back to seal the newly paved area.

Description of Work: They never even called or emailed me back. Clearly not interested in doing business with me. I feel the same about them. Very disappointed that Angie's would list a company such as this.

Description of Work: I originally contacted this company due to it's excellent rating on Angie's list however, my experience with them was very unprofessional and not what I had expected. Called left message due to no answer, was called back by secretary?, told me owner, Adam Joseph would call me back that night, next day, very busy, he did all the estimates personally. After a couple of days with no return call, I called back, said he would call me been very busy, explained that I had contacted them due to their excellent Angie's list rating. Few minutes, call from Adam saying his nephew, Josh tried to call me, no answer, he would be calling me back, doing estimate. I should have questioned this right then and there but it did not occur to me that there would be any issues. No calls from them showing on either my cell or home phone. This should have been red flag for me, why nephew doing estimate when was told by woman answering phone that owner did them all himself? Get a call from nephew later, makes appt. to come, raining that day so changes to next day. Discuss my issues, what work I want done, will do some measurements, give me ball park figure before he leaves, then send me proposal via email by end of week. Get the proposal but it does not mention that they are supposed to grade driveway to eliminate drainage issues I am having, main reason for having driveway done in first place. Send him email questioning this, says just a simple error, no problem will do over include in new proposal. I am nervous dealing with the nephew, call the office on Monday, tell woman my concerns, ask for owner to call me to discuss my concerns about things left out of proposal, also why he is not doing estimate as told he always does. will give owner my message, he'll call me, several days pass again no return call again, I call back, leave message about how entire situation handled, my dissatisfaction going to give a review based on how unprofessional, my dissatisfaction. Get a call I believe next day from nephew saying his uncle said I had some questions about proposal. Said I was not comfortable with how written, did not include the grading issues until I asked, the removal of several bushes and their roots, 2 additional parking spaces put there, not written out ( proposal read widen per discussion with owner) Said his word good, not have to be written down specifically. Asked if I had the work done yet, said no. they would love to do for me, sorry for any misunderstanding, do exactly as I wanted for price quoted. said I would think about, contact them in day or two with my answer. Only even consider dealing with them after how everything so poorly handled due to their rating and good referrals on Angie's list. I sent him an email 2 days later stating I would agree to have the work we discussed done for their proposal price but only if all the work discussed was written out specifically in proposal not saying as discussed. I have never heard another word from them so in my mind it means they did not intend to do the work as discussed because when I asked for it in writing, they did not respond. I also feel the owner, did not perform as he should have by calling me himself, doing the estimate himself and speaking to me directly about my concerns instead of passing me along to his nephew. My final contact with them was to leave a message about how poorly my entire experience with them was and that I would be giving them a poor rating on Angie's list due to how everything was handled. I have had no response from them at all so apparently not concerned with my business or my comments.

Description of Work: I called to get an estimate on installing a driveway. Adam came to my home to provide an estimate. He was very thorough in explaining the driveway process. His price was very reasonable. However, we decided to go with another contractor. If needed, I would hire All State Paving.

Description of Work: Sent an e-mail from site from Angie's list requesting an estimate to repave my driveway the week of 9/4/2013. As of 9/9/2013 haven't heard from the company.

Description of Work: The company came to do a driveway repaving (asphalt over asphalt). They did the same job for my neighbors, at the same time. My major concern leading to a low rating is that they did not properly edge one side of the driveway. The same problem happened at my neighbors. On that side, they did a rough layer of asphalt over grass, and very quickly the grass poked through and has been eating away at the edge, pretty much ruining the job in the course of a year and a half. On the opposite side of the driveway, where they took the time to make a neat edge, there has been no problem. We tried to book a sealing job, as they advised, in the summer after the work was done, but for a long time we played phone tag, and then it was the fall and it was apparently too late to do the job because of the temperature. The following summer, I called several times to book an appointment, finally leaving a message that I was frustrated and concerned about the state of my driveway. At that point, they came out and sealed the driveway. Unfortunately, the grass broke through that summer as well. The employees of the company were very pleasant, and the job itself was performed well initially. I wish they had a way to communicate such as email, rather than just phone messages.

Description of Work: Took a very long time to get the appt scheduled. The application has almost all washed away and did not fill any small cracks as described. Will have get ithe driveway resealed before the winter. Pleasant to interact with, the product just isn't of high quality.

Description of Work: Adam did a fantastic job on our driveway and was responsive and professional during the entire process. To put it in perspective, our neighbor has already asked for his information to get an estimate on his driveway.

Description of Work: This was the BIG DEAL driveway coating. My drive was a bit bigger than the DEAL and they charged a very reasonable and expected surcharge. They were on time, clean and fast.
