All State Paving

Went out of the way to schedule the service prior to our leaving for vacation. Showed up on time on the scheduled date. Finished the work as promised on the same day and left a clean driveway for our use.

I called Allstate around mid-November, and someone called me back within 15 minutes of my initial call to them. They came out the same day to give an estimate. Their price was very reasonable, and because I wanted the work done before the weather got too cold, they said they could come out on Saturday of the same week I called. They were extremely pleasant and courteous, They were very neat and took extra caution not to get any of the sealant on the decorative brick.. I am very pleased with the outcome and would definitely recommend them again.

Adam was extremely professional and cooperative. His price for complete replacement of my driveway was less than some companies wanted for a recoating. I asked about recoating and he pointed out that if he cut back a foot from the edges to taper to my existing grade, as the companies who quoted a recoating said they would do, water would drain directly into my garage. I asked about a sealing coat since the other companies wanted to do that with the job for an extra charge. Adam said that the driveway should cure for at least 90 days before sealing. He was not interested in just selling me more services if it wasn’t the right thing to do. The crew arrived earlier than I expected and did a great job. They were all very friendly. Adam even included a 4x4 edging on one side, because of the way the grass sloped away from the driveway, at no extra charge. I was very pleased with the entire experience and would strongly recommend Adam and All State Paving.

We contacted Allstate in early September. Adam came out immediately to do an estimate though they were already backed up due to the constant rain. The estimate was very fair and they even took off the 10 percent Angies List discount immediately when I told them that I had it. When I was concerned that maybe cracks had been missed, I took pictures and emailed them. I was assured that they were not a problem so we proceeded immediately due to their Angies List reviews and competitive pricing. It rained and rained and rained for weeks on end, non-stop. That meant that the project shifted further and further out due to no fault of Allstate. Florence kept in constant contact regarding when we were scheduled. She was greatly concerned that they were having to delay our project as she knew we needed it before winter. The minute the weather cleared up, she fit me into the schedule within a week. Adam and a helper came out early on a Friday morning and were finished within a few hours. They blew off the leaves and pine needles and sprayed on a nice thick coat of oil based sealant that looks shiny and new, even hitting the back side of curbs on both sides of the driveway. They also fixed some larger cracks to ensure that water would not cause further damage. We are very very pleased with the entire experience! It was our first Angies List experience and, as a result, we have felt confident enough to hire three other Angies List contractors for three other projects and have encouraged our family members to do the same. It was so easy and such a pleasure to deal with such honest and caring folks! I would recommend them (and will) in a heartbeat!

Contacted Allstate Paving online, Adam the owner called me the next day to set up appointment for an estimate. Adam came out personally and gave me his estimate, spent time explaining all the details to me, he was great and very perfessional. That same day, after talking to the wife about the work, I called Adam and told him wewould like for him to do the job. He told me they were about 2 weeks out with other jobs. Gave me an appoximate date and would call a couple days before. He called and came out on the day he said,with his crew and equipment. Finished the job in half a day, cleaned up, paid him and they were gone. Very pleased with the job, they were great. Highly recommend this company. The work is guaranteed,and to call if there were any problems.

The two man crew arrived on time, used a blower to clean driveway then sprayed on the sealer.

Adam gave me an estimate back in April. At first we decided to hold off, but in June we changed our minds and called Adam to have them come out and see if the estimate was still good. Despite the cost of asphalt going up, Adam still honored our original estimate. They came out later that week and completed the job quickly and professionally. The driveway looks great and we could not be happier.

I sent an email via Angie's List to Allstate paving. That same day, Adam called and we set up a day to meet for an estimate. Adam came over on a Thursday (5/26), gave me and my partner the estimate. We had our new driveway the next Tuesday (5/31). We could not be happier with the quality and the service.

All State Paving came out, gave us estimates that were MUCH MUCH lower than any other similar contractors. HOWEVER, never came out to do work, when we call, never pick up phone calls, never call back, no contact whatsoever for past three months. What kind of business is this?? Terrible communication, terrible professionalism. Would never use this company ever again.

The work was of good quality, came with a written guarantee and despite many rainy days, Adam worked around the weather to fit us in.

Adam arranged for a convenient appointment for the estimate and was very thorough in the explanation of the work to be performed. Adam and his crew showed up on time and were professional throughout the job. Adam asked for periodic site inspections as the work progressed to avoid any misunderstandings. Crew cleaned up surrounding areas thoroughly. I was very impressed with the level of service provided and the price was considerably lower than another company provided ($5300 at first and then reduced to $4200 if I signed "now" - always a warning sign.) Everything went very well. The crew was punctual, professional and completed the job in one day.

Estimate was prompt, description of process and materials was very comprehensive. Arrived on time and work was completed on time and at the estimate price.

Overall they did a good job. They showed up bright and early and the owner was on the job all day. The work looked good except for a few small areas where the seams came together which could have been much better. I called the owner to have him come to take a look which he said he would. I never heard back from him on these areas which is disappointing and why I gave him a C rating

I found this company on Angie's List, after getting an estimate from this company and several others, I found this company to be the most impressive. Adam showed up on time, for both the estimate and the job. They completed the job very fast, and seemed like a very hardworking crew. They honored the Angie's List coupon. The old driveway was 15ft wide, and we wanted it widened to 18ft. The estimate was for $2500, we got $250 off with the Angie's List coupon. The total was going to be $2250, but they were able to widen the driveway to almost 20ft so we settled at $2300. I was VERY happy with the price, because we wanted to driveway as wide as possible. I only had one very small issue, because I am very picky. The edges of the driveway were left higher then the ground/grass on the sides of the driveway by about two inches. They did try to flatten it down with a tool when I said something about it. I would still recommend them to others and I would absolutely use them again.

Not good...as per someone elses's report...never received a call back...don't waste your time calling this provider...

I'm looking to get my asphalt driveway serviced. I want to get cracks filled in and have it seal coated before winter. I called and left a message on the company's answering machine on Monday 8/9/10. I received a message from Adam on Wednesday 8/11/09 and I called him back on Thursday 8/12/09. He said he would stop by my house on Saturday 8/14/09 between 9 and noon and provide an estimate. I was at the house during this time but if Adam came by to look at the driveway, I didn't see him. Sometimes contractors leave the estimates on my door or mailbox, but I received nothing all weekend. When Monday rolled around, 8/16/09, I called the company and left another message on the answering machine. I identified myself, gave my phone number and explained the situation. I said if they were still interested in a shot at the job to contact me. It's Tuesday, 8/24/10 and I've not heard from them. So, my rating is only on their responsiveness and I have to give them an F. I can't provide a rating for any other category since they have not responded.

Mr. Joseph was very professional throughout. He came out to do the estimate, submitted a quote and scheduled the job very quickly. He was part of the team that did the job and they came out and completed it on the date scheduled without any problems. The job is very professional and I would definitely use him again.

Went fine from start to finish. No issues.

Went well. They came out pretty quickly and did a decent job. Adam (owner?) was very friendly and we were able to save some money because they were doing another job near by and were able to do us after that job. They brought the equipment over on a Thursday afternoon and did the prep work. Friday morning they were back to finish the job and were done in the afternoon.

A very positive experience. Adam estimated job and accomodated our uncertain schedule that depended on other work he had no control over. Showed up on time; did a great job; cleaned up well.

They did a good job at a reasonable price. I had tree roots that were tearing up the driveway. They took them out and filled in the asphalt. They were punctual and competent. They got the job done.

They did a great job! There were some tricky aspects to it. They came out fairly quickly to give me an estimate. I was going to use Complete Asphalt, or another guy, but I couldn't verify the other guys license. Complete Asphalt was within 15% of the other guys price, so I went with them because they had a verifiable license and good feedback. Complete Asphalt was quite good. I didn't hang around because I knew they knew what they were doing. They showed up when they said they would to give me the bid, and they were here on time to do the job. They completed the job quicker than I expected. The owner was on the job, so there was never a problem with language or whether or not someone could make a decision. I found them on Angie's List.

They did a good job. They had done the driveway about fifteen months ago and even then we were satisfied with their work. I didn't check for other prices this time. I normally would. When they put it in, they specified that it should have an oil-based sealer, so we just went with them. They gave a good price on the resurfacing though. So far everything is done well. They were very professional.

They handled everything over the phone. They came out when they would and was very timely on the job. I would use them again in the future.
