They did an excellent job. They did a good job. It did not take them a long time to the work. They were in and gone. Everything was cleaned up. I think the cost was a special for topping the driveway. They were very efficient. They called when they will be here and they were at the time they said. The next day they knocked on my door and they have everything marked off. They gave me instructions on how to care for it.

Ihave never dealt with All State Paving. I dealt with All County paving which is the firm I rated to you earlier. Please remove my rating for All State paving since I never dealt with them. Samuel M. Evans

After having issues with scheduling another supplier, I contacted All State Paving for this service. They responded promptly, coming to my property and reviewing the need and quoting a price. Although not able to meet the price of the previous company, they made me a very good offer and scheduled immediately to get the work done before the weather got too cold. Even though initially telling me they could not address the cracks due to the weather, on the day they did the work, they did indeed fill the cracks at no additional charge. I appreciate their prompt, proficient, professional response and work -- and the driveway looks great!

This went very well. I wish all contractors were as good as Adam. He and his crew showed up when they said they would and they cleaned up after their work was finished. The result is a very nice looking driveway, in my opinion. I will definitely hire him again when it's time to seal the driveway (after one year and every other year after that, according to Adam). I would recommend him to anyone looking for a good contractor.

All State Paving 1-855-GOT-PAVING [1-855-468-7284] [also 410-859-3456] All State Paving, LLC 7801 Cherrybrook Ct Severn, MD 21144-3244 16 December 2014: A revision of my previous review [dated 15 December 2014] , subsequent to the work that All State Paving [aka 1-855-GOT-PAVING] did to repair my asphalt driveway on Friday, December 12, 2014. All State Paving subsequently contacted me regarding the issues that i had with the work they had done for me, and explained the circumstances behind their delay in getting back to me to address my concerns. I have come to appreciate and understand the delay in their communications, as they were dealing with a very serious health issue withIn the family. A company who puts their family as a central concern in their lives is one that i would want to do business with now and continue to do so in the future. Adam contacted me shortly after i posted my initial review of their work, and told me that what I had experienced in terms of their work and their responsiveness to my follow-up calls was not the way they normally do business, and promised they would come out within 10 days to rectify the problem that i had experienced. Within 6 days of that call, Aaron, Jake and Justin came out to my house and worked to repair the ?eruption? that had occurred in the asphalt paving in front of my garage door. They then promised to come back in April 2015 to reseal my driveway, as a good faith demonstration of the pride and commitment to excellence that they take as a company in the quality, reliability and integrity of their workmanship. My faith has now been restored that I had made the right choice, after all, in selecting All State Paving as the "go to" company for servicing all my asphalt driveway needs. ********************************************* 5 December 2014 All State Paving [ASP] resurfaced my existing driveway and added a parking pad in 2013. In resurfacing my driveway, they first removed all of the existing asphalt to about 4 feet in front of my garage doors, in order to be able to ensure that the asphalt replaced there would be at the same level as the rest of the resurfaced driveway. I cannot recall if they filled this area with crushed stone and compacted it, before pouring the asphalt in that portion of the driveway or not. The rest of my driveway was covered with a fresh layer of asphalt, plus they dug our an area to the side of the existing driveway where they created an asphalt parking pad. After doing all this, they sprayed some sort of a product on the newly laid asphalt as a sealant. The driveway and additional pad looked very good and I was well pleased, except for some tire marks which appeared on the pad once we resumed driving on the driveway. I assumed this happened as a result of turning the wheels on our car after the car had come to a stop after backing onto the pad. Coming home the end of October, after a brief vacation, my wife discovered an area about the size of a dinner plate which had raised up approximately 4-5 inches in front of one garage door, and was splitting open like the top of a cake might do in the oven. This has now become an area for water infiltration, and with freezing and thawing this winter, will likely lead to a pot hole developing in my newly poured driveway. In addition, I and my wife have tripped several times over this ?eruption,? and am fearful someone else might trip and injure themselves, if they aren't aware and careful of where they are walking. I have contacted ASP several times, beginning October 26, when I left a message asking for a return call, as no one answered. I was able to reach a lady on Oct. 27, who assured me that Adam Joseph would be informed, and that he would get back to me within 24 to 48 hours. Adam did call me on Oct 28, and said that he would have Aaron come out in the next 10 days to take a look. By November 10 [after 13 days had elapsed and Aaron still had not contacted me], I again called ASP in the morning, and when no one answered, I left a message. Aaron then returned my call that afternoon and left a message on my landline that he was returning my call, which unfortunately I was not at home to take. I returned his call using his cell phone number which he had left in his message, and when he did not answer, a recording said his mailbox was full. I was coming to the conclusion that because the weather was turning so cold, that ASP had ?packed it in? for the season and was off to warmer climes. On November 17, growing worried about the consequences of leaving this erupted portion of the driveway untended until the following spring, I again called ASP on their business line and left another message to please call me. On Nov. 18, I was able to reach the same lady I had spoken to on Oct 27, and she said that she would have Adam or Aaron call me. No one did. So, I waited patiently as Thanksgiving was coming on and my son and new daughter-in-law were coming home on Nov 23 to be with us. Still waiting after Thanksgiving and growing more frustrated, I called them on December 4, in the morning, and again with no one answering, I left a lengthy message asking for Adam to call me. I have now come to the sad conclusion that All State Paving [aka 1-855-GOT-PAVING] is not the kind of business that I could, without hesitation, recommend to anyone I cared about. Their work, while initially appearing excellent, if something untoward appears later on, then you are on your own trying to get the problem fixed. As they appear to have no real intention of trying to assess what the problem may be with their work, nor to try to resolve the problem by suggesting some sort of remediation. I had thought that they were a reputable, responsible, trustworthy business that took pride in their work and stood behind their product, but have now come to the sad conclusion that this is not the case, in spite of Angie's List having given them Super Service Awards from 2008 through 2013. I have shown the problem to friends and neighbors, and they suspect that there wasn't enough crusher stone put down over the soil base in front of the garage doors, or that there was insufficient roller compaction of that same stone and the new asphalt that was shoveled over it, resulting in some subsidence of the asphalt in that area; particularly, around whatever object may be beneath the ?eruption.? I have subsequently discovered that the Better Business Bureau has given All State Paving an A+ rating; although, All State Paving is not a BBB accredited business. But in coming to understand how the BBB assigns its ratings, ASP was given that high a rating because of, among other factors, the length of time they have been in business [since 1990], as well as the number of complaints [one] that has been filed against them. So, I have come to learn the hard way, that if someone is looking to find a company to do business with, that it is a mistake to rely solely on any one source in determining whether a company is a reputable business or not. That an individual needs to consider not just one or two, but multiple sources for business reviews and customer recommendations, in order not to end up making a poorly informed decision as I ended up doing.

They did a beautiful job. The crew were very friendly and Adam was very easy to work with. I had a very small issue with 1 corner and they showed up when they said they would, and fixed it. It was about 1 inch big. Most companies would not have bothered with such a small detail, but they fixed it without any problem. I would highly recommend them.

I called to see if I could get two small sinkholes in my driveway fixed. I left a message and a woman called back saying that the company did not do jobs so small. I can't rate them on work and find it disappointing that yet another company considered a residential driveway beneath their threshold for service.

Mr. Adam Joseph and his staff are outstanding. From being the most timely in returning my call for an estimate to showing up when he said he would and then performing an outstanding job when the work was performed. Mr Joseph did not try and sell me work that I did not need. My driveway was 37 years old and I thought it would need total replacement. He showed me where that was true and where it wasn't needed, told me how to correct my drainage problem and gave me what I considered an excellent price for the amount of work to be performed. Mr. Joseph was personally on site for the whole job and his crew worked tirelessly to complete the job. My driveway is better now than it was when I moved in as the original owner 37 years agi. I would not hesitate to hire All State Paving again and am just disappointed at this time that I don't have any further work for them to do. This company is first rate and Mr. Adam Joseph is a standup guy. You cannot go wrong with Mr. Jospeh. Do not hesitate to hire this company for your paving work.

From start to finish, a true professional company. Estimate and followup calls were timely and he kept me in the loop the entire time as to when it could be scheduled. Quality is excellent; not one single complaint. He even suggested, and added at no cost, a PVC pipe under driveway in the event we want to run wires in the future. I would definitely go back to this company.

Beautiful job. Efficient and friendly crew. Arrived on time and result appears to be exactly what we needed. Worked with us to tag this little job on to an existing larger job in the area to save us substantial dollars!

I called to see if I could get a few areas of my driveway that are sinking fixed. The women who answered that phone said that they wouldn't consider doing that work. She then went on to tell me that they only did work with a $1000 minimum. She said that they wouldn't pull their truck out for anything less than $1000. She was extremly rude.

Adam was very responsive in providing an estimate: I called on a Tuesday and he provided an estimate the following day. Contrary to the other companies I interviewed, Adam / Allstate offered creative solutions to counter the long term problems I've had with my driveway. Additionally, he offered more than just putting down a fresh 3" of asphalt. He suggested how I could achieve better drainage and how to better extend the usable parking surface of my driveway. Adam was also willing to work with me to get the budget a bit more palatable. Allstate surpassed my expectations for professionalism, efficiency, and quality. The final product is not only functional but professionally executed. The complete scope of work was completed in 11 hours over two days. I found Adam and the Allstate crew very pleasant and conscientious. The work area was clean and tidy and they provided excellent direction on how to properly care for the installation before they left. I will gladly endorse them to friends and family.

I called Adam for an estimate to repair my 30 year old driveway. He did not try to sell me more than I needed. He said he could repave the driveway and give me many more years of service and save me thousands of dollars. I had other estimates and his was very fair. He was prompt, responsive, very knowledgable and professional through all aspects of the project. The driveway looks better than when it was new. He did a terrific job. I would highly recommend Adam and All State. In fact one of my neighbors has already contacted him to do his driveway !

It went very well, they did an excellent job! They were on time and the job came in at the price quoted. They were very professional and completely cleaned the area before the left, I was extremely happy with the way everything went.

We called the company to repair the cracks in the driveway. Our driveway is about 150ft long with a lot of large cracks. We spoke with the owners son who gave us a price to reseal the driveway. We asked multiple times if the resealing would fix the cracks and were told multiple times on the areas that had the large cracks extra product would be used to cover most of the defects. Again we asked to make sure and was told the same thing. The only thing we got was a resealed driveway and none of the cracks were repaired. The owners son came back after speaking with him and tried to pressure us into repaving the driveway at a reduced cost. Said the price is only good on the spot or he would reseal the driveway again at his expense. Told him we had to think about it so as not to make the same rash decision as before. Tried multiple time to contact them and they have yet to contact us. Issue still not resolved. WORST customer service ever. Guess we got what we paid for (told plenty of times) but NOT what we asked for and was promised.

It was an absolute pleasure dealing with the owner - Mr. Joseph. He was professional, polite and answered my numerous questions. He even stopped by to checkout the drains my son installed before starting the job to make sure they were done properly. The work went well and looks great. The workers were also friendly and courteous. I plan to call them for any sealcoating work in the future. I would highly recommend All State Paving !!!

They did a fabulous job, in a very timely fashion, and for a very reasonable price. Mr. Joseph also talked me out of having more work done than I really needed given the conditions, saving me thousands.

I contacted the provider through Angie's List on 05/21/2014 requesting an estimate to repair and seal coat my driveway. They never responded.

Having three cars, we needed an extra spot on the driveway to accommodate a car that we drive infrequently. After calling several paving companies, one gave me a wonderful spiel but was very high priced, the second never responded to my phone message. All State Paving required a second call, but they apologized for the delay, saying they were just incredibly busy. Adam came out on a Saturday morning soon after, and gave me what I felt was a fair and honest assessment of what did and did not need to be done to my driveway. We added a 10ft by 35ft extension, that tapered back in at the bottom (necessitated by a tree). He did the job several days before he had promised, but still gave me plenty of warning to be able to move my vehicles. I will hire them again as needed.

Arrived ahead of promised time and did a excellent job. Would gladly use their service again.

These guys were great. I got more than one estimate and they were on par/just a few dollars less than other companies. They showed up within their window, we talked, and I liked everything they had to say. I asked for a ball park estimate to extend some of the asphalt and I liked their honesty. They did a little patch work, sealed the driveway, and it all came out great. I will be calling them again in a year to lay down the latex coat.

Everything turned out well. It was easy getting in touch to schedule, they showed on time, and they did the work as specified.

The job went well. All State paving put put down a thick new layer of asphalt and the lines were straight and neat. They were in and out in a few hours. Sealed the driveway with an oil based sealer. The price was competitive and the result was a quality re-paving job.
