I called August 30 since I had developed a leak in my bedroom. Odi was able to come out the day after I called. He and his co-worker wore booties when they came inside the house to go up into the attic to inspect. (They also went up on the roof.) He said there were several (more) slates missing or broken and gave his estimate. They came back to do the repairs on Monday Sept. 26. This is the 2nd time I've used this company and everyone has been very professional and helpful.

Odie and another worker arrived promptly as scheduled and quickly determined the problems that caused a leak during the heavy downpours after hurricane Irene. What I really liked was that Odie came prepared to do the repair. After approving the estimate that I believe was fair for the work being done, he and his helper went to work and completed everything in about four or so hours. They cleaned up everything before leaving and even cleaned a skylight that was near where they had worked. Angie's List was spot on with this company, all A's that appear to be well-deserved.

After hurricane Irene hit, our house suffered some minor leaks (total of 4). Roof Right came to the house, identified the suspected leak sources and fixed the problem (total visit time ~30minutes). Because of the nature of one of the leaks (it was underneath our roof deck, the team could not repair it, but they identified the suspected source and recommended another company that could assist us. Additionally, they gave some impromtu training for myself in the event this case occured again. Overall great experience. Thanks!

The two men that did the job were excellent workers, and it was close to 100 degrees that day! Jason was right on the mark with what needed to be done and these guys did their very best! We could not have asked for any better, and we believe this company is the BEST!! Thank You for the great job you did!!

Ah I so wanted this to be a good experience. I was impressed with the professionalism on the phone and in confirming the appointment. The two guys arrived in the window estimated. However, once there, they spent a reasonably small amount of time assessing the roof and then pushing me towards a quick "$450 repair patch if I do it today" which would buy me "some time". I did tell them upfront that this was a rental property and that I was recently out of a job but that we were committed to replacing the roof if needed due to the fact that the leak was a recurring issue. Perhaps they were trying to give me a break I thought. But I was committed to solving the leak problem and if it meant a roof, I would find a way to do it. So I made it clear that I really needed an estimate for a replacement as well.They again pushed for the "$450 patch to get it done today since they had the tools on the truck"--I again said I was not making a decision that day. Again (a 3rd time) they explained a patch "would buy me time" and the patch offer was good if I did it "that day". I said the last patch only bought me a year. He said their patch would probably buy me 5 years. So I explained again that I would like an estimate for a replacement roof for the metal roof /front 2/3 of the house and he seemed really annoyed. Perhaps he had some incentive to sell a job immediately--I don't know. I don't want to assume. All I know is that I was clear I wanted a price provided for a replacement roof. I then explained that he was one of 3 estimates I was getting. He told he would have to "call the main office" to see if they would be able to replace a roof in Baltimore City, what that would entail and if they needed permits etc... (mind you the same company was working on the house behind mine--they were waving at their coworkers when I pointed them out). The two gentlemen then climbed around on my roof a few moments to measure and said they would "have to get back to me with an estimate". (My last two Angies List roofing estimates were able to sit down on the deck, do the math and give me a rough idea of what we were looking at prior to leaving, but I understand that not all businesses operate that way). After some further private conversation, they left, saying the main office would get in touch with me with the estimate in a day or two. The holiday weekend was upon us. Now, 17 days later--not a peep nor an estimate.The shame is, I imagine they do good work. There are good reviews on here--I don't take them lightly. But I also believe in spelling out my experiences, good or bad. In this case, I felt I had a poor experience, despite being clear on what I needed. Immediately after he pulled out the driveway, the postman came and delivered a postcard from Roof Right thanking me for considering them for my repair. The next day, I received a call from the Roof Right office following up the previous day visit. Even though they did not repair my roof, I cannot rate their quality of work but I must report on their customer service. Their customer service is supreme and I will eventual use them for the minor gable roof repair, but I first need to finish the leakage problem. I will follow-up on this report once the gable roof repair is completed. If you are in need of roofing work, please consider this company for your job!

Was going to be a little late and Doug called promptly (was awaiting materials on another job). Was still only about an hour later than originally scheduled. Doug was a clean-cut intelligent professional who quickly inspected my roof and the seals around my vent stacks which were leaking. Quickly was able to give me an estimate of $250.00 (much lower than I expected), which became $200.00 using the Angies List coupon they offered. When I had authorized the work, he was right back up the ladder and completed the job in a very short time (maybe 15 minutes), was off the ladder, paid and on the road no more than 5 minutes later the earthquakehit. Very professional,expedient and a fair price. I highly recommend them and will be calling them back soon to do a complete roof. Went VERY well. UPDATE!!! 29 Aug 11... got through the hurricane with not ONE single drop of water coming in! First time in a while. Great job Roof Right!

Arrived on time and fixed the problem quickly and at a very reasonable price. Very happy with the technicians, their professionalism and the advice they gave. Even though my job was small, Roof Right gave me excellent service.

I am so impressed with Odi and John from Roof Right! Again, I had paid a previous roofer to correct a leak, this time in the family room. He(the previous roofer) installed a new roof and a lot of pitch to seal it and yet again, I had a leak. Odi and John from Roof Right inspected the roof, then took a hose up and trained it on different locations until the leak was found. For a fraction of what I paid the previous roofer, I no longer am dealing with any leaks. I would recommend this company to anyone and especially Odi and John!

I had several estimates from other highly rated Angie's List roofers, however Roof Right's estimate using identical materials and labor was significantly less. I really appreciated the professionalism, knowledge and honesty that Matt Wilson brought to the table when providing the estimate for us. He never asked what the other roofer's had estimated the job at, going so far to say that those companies also provided fine workmanship and would do a good job if chosen. Matt let the pricing and his companies reputation sell the job. The crew started on time and went about their task professionally and efficently. The job was completed in under 8 hours to our complete satisfaction. They did an excellant job cleaning up throughout the day as the job progressed. Matt was back first thing the next morning to inspect the job and ask if we were satisfied with the results. Several neighbors and passersby stopped to watch the crew work and jot down the companies phone number from the yard sign. I wholeheartedly recommend Roof Right to anyone considering roof repair or replacement.

They showed up when promised (actually, called ahead to see if they could come a little earlier), promptly found the problem and showed me pictures on a cellphone as they explained. They said they could finish it that day, and they did. The final price was as estimated, though I thought a little on the high side based on how many hours they spent. But I was very pleased overall because the replaced shingles and gutter portion fit and blended in perfectly -- it all looked very well done -- and most of all it fixed the leak as I saw during the next downpour. The workers were very friendly, professional, and obviously knew what they were doing. I would definitely use them again!

Responsive, took the time to explain the work needed/completed, and was very neat. Would recommend.

Roof Right was taking care of an ongoing problem which a previous roofer had worked on for about 2 years. Odi and another young man from Roof Right came and worked all day on resolving my problem. I called back when the ceiling leaked again. Odi and the same young man returned immediately and so far the leak has not reappeared. After dealing with this for so long, I don't feel confident enough to heave a giant sigh of relief and since we have had so much dry weather, I don't know if it has been sufficiently tested, but I was very pleased with how knowlegeable Odi is and his persistence in getting to the bottom of this. Another thing I must add is that I was not charged for the second visit, which was a courtesy never provided by the previous roofer even after he guaranteed that it would never leak again and if I had any further problems he would fix it for free. He still managed another $50.00 charge for the one time I called him after that. He and I both thought he definitely had found the problem which was a hole left in the siding by a cable company. The next time it leaked, I finally decided to try another roofer. I would not heistate to recommend Roof Right to any of my friends. Odi and his helper were professional, polite, hard working and cleaned up after themselves as well.

I was happy to find a company that called back promptly and who was very dependable!! Jason took the time to explain everything thoroughly and we were very pleased from start to finish with our roof and skylight replacement. The crew was very conscientious, courteous and they did a fantastic job!! We could not have asked for any better!! We also had gutters put on our garage and all went well with that. Great company!!

How refreshing it was to actually call for an estimate, have someone call you back, then spend enough time with you so you feel comfortable making an expensive decision. Jason was so very professional from start to finish, to answering mine and my husbands many questions and then following through as he said he would ever step of the way. I was so afraid to trust a company since many of the other roofing companies I had called for an estimate, either failed to call me back, or made an appointment that was convenient to them and not me. Roof Right, did an outstanding job, and I have already had several people comment on how different our house looks now. The gutter installation was handled just as professional and looks wonderful. Roof right has restored my faith in having someone else do the work and not me.

Odi came out the next day and completed the job. We are quite satisfied with his and the company's professionalism, workmanship and customer relations. Thanks!

We called two other companies about getting this repaired and both need a month to come out just to look at the job. Roof Right fit us in at the end of the week (4 days later). Odie arrived late on a Friday afternoon and finished the job it about an hour. He took pictures of the problem and inspected the roof as a whole. He replaced the shingles and re-caulked two vents where he noticed a problem. Very professional. Since he was on the roof and noticed one of the gutters needed cleaning, he took care of it because "He was already up there." Highly recommended.

Odie came took care of business in a totally professional way. Was very knowledgeable and explained what he was doing in a way we could understand. Very pleased with the workmanship and how we were treated.

The replacement parts needed are hard to come by and therefore this company could not perform the needed services. However, they were very helpful, professional, and punctual. I would highly recommend this company and use them myself if I could.

The employee went up on the roof to find the leaks and took pictures to show the problems when he came to give us an estimate. When he began the work, he uncovered a crack in the skylight that had been covered up by the company that originally worked on the roof. He found a replacement and was able to complete all work in approximately 3 hours. Because he had to replace the skylight, he had to increase the original estimate. He again took pictures of the finished product to show us what he had done. He cleaned up the work area and around the front of the house--very neat. He was professional and courteous at all times.

The guy that came to the house cleaned the gutters and told me they work lounge. They asked me how my roof was so I told them. He told there were two cracking and I need any type of roof replaced. He told me that I have five more years to replace the roof, which was kind of cool because now I know in next year I'm going to have to replace it. I saw them near the gym I belong to; so they were also used by the business I'm frequent. My roof was very pitched or steep. He also went around and did maintenance for the gutters. He came and did the job. He did it well. He did a little extra and he was gone. I don't know what happened to the mess but it wasn't in my yard. Everything was clogged up, so he came in and he was efficient. He was here to do and he worked with us. He was very honest.

Put in an email inquiry and Jason called me that evening. We set up a time for an estimate. Jason was thorough, checking the crawlspace and walking the roof. Estimate took about an hour. He was friendly, personable, and professional. After getting other estimates, we found Roof Right to be about in the middle, but their warranty sold us, as well as giving us a discount for being teachers (always nice to be recognized!). Delivery of materials was about a week later, and their work started next day at about 9:00AM. By 4:00PM we had our new roof and gutter work. Their cleanup was impeccable - one wouldn't even know a crew had been there. Jason came out two days later for the final inspection and it was all in the books. A great experience all the way around.

I was contacted very quickly after my initial email inquiry. Odie came out to gave me an estimate. He asked to see the attic, so he could assess any interior damage. He went up on the roof, even though it was fairly breezy & cold that day. He explained exactly what could be done, and was very understanding that I could not afford a new roof. I had had one other estimate, but Roof Right was a bit lower, so I called and asked them to put me on the schedule. They had a cancellation, so the work was performed 3 days before Christmas. I was very happy with all communications from Roof Right, and Odie is a credit to the Company!

Roof Right was terrific, and they did a very nice job. They were very responsive and pleasant to deal with. All of my questions were thoroughly answered, which I really appreciated.

Carefully removed old cedar shake and caught all debris in tarps. Removed old nails and staples. Laid rain/snow guard over 90 % of house. Shingled roof and shed carefully and in stages. Never was uncovered over-night. Showed up on time and left everything cleaned up and buttoned up when they left at the end of the day. Completed the job on schedule as promised. Picked up all stray nails or metal. Awesome job, looks great!
