It was another Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. There were no additional charges.

They did a good job. Just alittle late on arriving.

The man was very courteous and helpful. He went up on the roof only to find that the gutter had coverings that attached to the roof. He informed me that he had to call his boss to see what he could do. His boss told him that he could not remove or clean the gutters. He then offered to take pictures of the gutters with his cell phone so I could see why my gutters were clogging. I told him I was thinking of getting new gutter guards and he told me that his company did them also. So I asked for an estimate. I liked the price and asked if he could use my coupon as a deposit. He said no, but I could get a refund from Angie's List. He then told me that he more than likely would be the one installing the new gutter guards and cleaning the gutters after taking off the old ones.

So instead they did a roof inspection and pointed out some things that could be done and gave me a proposal. I did not follow up on the proposal.

The job was scheduled to start on Monday, June 23rd, and was it estimated that it would take 3 days. At 8 AM on Monday we received a call saying that they were delaying the start of the job until Tuesday because they didn't finish a job on Saturday. Why didn't someone call over the weekend to tell us about the change in plans? On Tuesday a crew of Mexican workers arrived and began stripping the top portion of the main house. They removed the old roof and sheeting, installed new plywood sheeting, and started to install the new roof. They worked until almost dark and were able to complete about 1/2 of the new roof. The next day 2 workers showed up and finished installing the shingles on the top portion of the main house. The workers left about 2 PM saying nothing about what was going on. I called Roof Right and was told that only 2 workers showed up because the weather forecast that morning called for a chance of rain. On Thursday, the 3rd day, a full crew showed up and began work on the country kitchen and garage roof. A second crew showed up later in the day and started working on the detached garage roof. After completing the garage roof they started to work on the mansard portions of the main house. They again worked until dark and had almost finished the mansard sections of the roof. On Friday 2 workers showed up. They finished installing shingles on the mansard section and worked on flashing around the chimneys. After the workers left around 2 PM I walked out to the end of our driveway to look at the "completed" job. I immediately noticed that the shingles on the front mansard looked awful. On one section of the mansard the shingles were not level, and I also noticed that the height of the shingles varied from one section of the mansard to the next. There was also a piece of siding missing from one of the dormers. I e-mailed the salesman to voice my displeasure. He responded saying that he had forwarded my e-mail to the owner and that he would come inspect the roof. The following Monday a Mexican showed up and I attempted to explain the problems. I was never sure that he fully understood my issues, but he did install a piece of siding on the dormer. He said he would return on Tuesday with shingles to fix the other problem. Later in the day Shaun from Roof Right called to say the new gutter installation was scheduled for Tuesday of next week. I told Shaun that I wanted the salesman, Rick, to inspect the job before any more work was done. On Tuesday Rick came and agreed that there was a problem with the installation of the shingles on the front mansard. He said that he would have his final inspector, Joe, come and inspect the entire job to make sure there were no other problems. Joe came later in the day to inspect the job and he was also supposed to spray the chimneys with waterproofing. Joe climbed up on the roof and started to spray the waterproofing material. Before he finished the first chimney he ran out of the waterproofing material. After completing his inspection Joe agreed that the mansard installation was bad and he also mentioned that he had a concern about how a piece of flashing was installed on one of the chimneys. The following Monday, July 7th, a crew of workers arrived and sat around waiting for salesman Rick to show up to tell them what needed to be done. When Rick came he told them that the entire front mansard roof needed to be stripped and re-shingled. After the workers stripped the shingles and installed new underlayment, measurements were made and the chalk lines struck to make sure the shingles would get installed properly. The mansard section now looks like it should. On Tuesday the gutter guys came and installed new gutters on the mansard sections of the house. On Wednesday, July 9th, inspector Joe returned to complete the waterproofing and re-inspect the job. Overall, I think the finished job now looks OK. I was pleased to see that the company accepted responsibility for poor mansard roof and corrected the problem. One of the most frustrating parts of the entire job was a lack of communication. You never knew what to expect and was never any real communication with the workers. I would have expected that an english speaking foreman would have been identified and kept us informed as to what was happening

My previous experience with Roof Rite went well. They put a new roof on my shed and replaced gutters with gutter guard. The price was $1, 800.00. Roof Rite responded within a couple of days and the work was completed within two weeks. This time, a completely different story. I contacted Roof Rite on 4/21/14 and made an appointment for someone to come on 4/25 to give me an estimate on repairing the damage caused by a fallen tree branch to the shed roof they had installed in October. On April 25, no one showed. I called the office and they put me in touch with the person that was supposed to come out. He said he would stop by one day and check it out and that I didn't need to be there since it was outside and he would email me the estimate. On 5/8 I received the estimate and on 5/9 I stopped in their office and paid the deposit. Four or so weeks passed and I hadn't heard anything so I followed up asking when the work might be done. The work was finally scheduled for 6/17. The guys came out that day and completed the work. They said that they did not have the caps for the sides of the gutters so they would have to come back. That was no big deal, but they had tried to use the old gutter guard which had been all mangled up and cut the plastic in to 10 or 12 pieces and just stuck it on top. The next day (6/18) I emailed the guy I had been dealing with and explained the situation and told him that I would like my gutters repaired to the way they were when I originally had the work done. I was told that he would come look at the work and get back to me. He got back to me about a week later and said that they would give me a new gutter guard and would get back to me when this could be done.. That was on 6/25. I still hadn't heard anything by 7/8, so I emailed again asking when someone would be coming to take care of this. On 7/11 I hadn't gotten a response back and I had had enough so I called Roof Rite and asked to speak to a manager. I explained the situation to the manager and he said he would send someone out that day to fix it and he did. In the end it took just short of three months to get this work done. That is totally unacceptable. It was a small job that all and all only took a few hours to complete. In addition, I had to initiate all contact with Roof Rite to followup. No one contacted me unless I asked. I can only imagine how much longer this may have taken had I not be done and called the general manager. I truly do not understand why this little job had to take so long and no one offered any explanation whatsoever.

It was good. They actually looked at the roof and they took their time. They showed me what they were going to after they did some walking around. They took some pictures and showed me where the issues were. He was very professional. He seem to be an expert in the Angie's List reviews.

From beginning to end, my experience with Roof Right was pleasant and professional. The rear, flat roof that was replaced had been "repaired" several times previously by different companies only to find that not only did the leaks and problems recur, they got worse. I explained my past experiences and concerns to Rick from Roof Right and he listened carefully to my concerns and to my thoughts about how and why the problems were occurring and why, perhaps, the previous repairs had failed. He inspected and assessed the areas affected by the leaks inside as well as the roof areas outside. I elected to proceed with Roof Right largely because of Rick's professionalism and because of the materials he proposed to complete the job. I can happily say that despite having quite a rainy spring and early summer I have yet to see any more problems with the roof. I have finally put my buckets away! I would also like to say that the workmen that came to perform the work were prompt, friendly, clean, and courteous. It is rare to find a home contractor that provides an easy and worry-free experience but Roof Right is definitely one that I will use in the future and will highly recommend to others.

Everything went as planned. The appointment for the July 1 repair was confirmed on June 11. Mr. Sarabia, Roofing Specialist, arrived on time and completed the job as indicated. Mr. Sarabia informed and showed me pictures of other potential roofing problems. He quoted a price to have the additional problems fixed that day, but he did not pressure me to do so. I chose to not deal with the additional problems at that time. The work was completed within an hour. When additional roof, window, siding or other exterior work is needed, Roof Right will certainly be one of the companies I contact for an estimate. This particular job was a Roof Right Special Deal.

Prompt and courteous, even put shoe covers on to avoid tracking dirt into my house. My leak is fixed.

They took a few weeks to get to me but replaced not only missing shingles but ones that were miscolored from a previous repair. They send pictures before and after. Telephone response is good.

The order placing process was quick and easy. The contractor contacted me the next day and provided a date however the date was too late for me so I patched the roof pipe collar myself. The contractor stated that refund must come from Angie's List. Roof Right POC was friendly and courteous.

I made an appointment and they did not show. They said they had a new person make the appointment and she did not put it in properly. They reschedueld about 3 weeks later and was very prompt.

The first day he came on time--showed me the computer picture from sattelite--the next door neighbor's roof had my address and the tiles were the wrong color. He came early the next day with the right color tiles and did the job quickly and was very mannerly. Good experience.

The problem was accurately diagnosed. The work was completed on time and solved the problem of the leaking roof. Since the repair was completed, no further leaking has occurred. The employees were highly professional and great communicators. I was 100% satisfied with their services.

Odi from Roof RIght came out and assessed our roof, replaced a few shingles that had been blown off in a recent storm, and gave me a quick verbal appraisal of the condition of the roof. He warned me that it might take more than a week to provide an estimate for further repairs, and I did receive a detailed estimate in the time frame he indicated. I felt very comfortable with this provider, and would use them in the future.

It was a good experience. It was easy to schedule an appointment with them. They were punctual.

Reached out to them about certifying an existing roof. Were very responsive and quick with their reply.

I couldn't be more pleased! After a horrible experience with a gutter company that came out to clean my gutters, told me I needed a new roof right now or the sky was going to fall in, and then proceeded to give me a hard time when I Told them I would be getting a second opinion because this is a HUGE investment, I cannot even begin to explain how please I am with Roof Right. Jason Myers called the morning of the appointment to let me know he was on his way, and then called to let me know he was stuck in traffic and he was going to be about 15 minutes late. That was extremely professional on his part. When he got here, he was courteous and had a great personality that made me feel completely at ease. He did a thorough inspection of the attic and roof, provided detailed explanations, drawings, pictures, and options. He was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. While I can probably sneak another year out of my roof due to a few minor things he fixed with some new gaskets, I will definitely be calling Roof Right when the time comes to replace the roof and skylight. I will also be referring them to my friends in the area that might need some work done.

The basic package of services were completed as purchased. On on the roof, the technician saw additional items that needed attention and took care of these as well. I would use these guy again if needed.

After purchasing the deal, they got back to me right away and got the appointment scheduled. They came out and completed did the work. They did arrive about fifty minutes later than the scheduled appointment. They found a couple other things that needed repaired and they gave me a great price. The technician who completed the work was very professional and cleaned up well. I was very pleased and it was great!

They were upfront and let me know that because they work with a crew it would not be cost effective for me to have them do the job. So I hired a hanyman I know.
