Outstanding! From Start to finish, including the initial appointment to give us our free estimate, Rick and the Roof Right staff were courteous and professional. The 2 crews (one did the new roof, and the other was subcontracted by Roof Right to install the new gutters, which was done a couple of days later) that did the actual work were an amazing group of men. They ALL were diligent workers. In particular, the roof installation crew employed directly by Roof Right went the extra mile for us, even doing a few, small extra tasks. Daily over the two-day job, they cleaned up all the old shingles, rotted wood and other debris, and they used a metal detector to remove old nails, protecting us and our German shepherd. When the new roof was on, the men hauled everything away, and swept our property, putting everything they'd moved back in its rightful place. They even covered my little plant garden with protective tarp! We received our final bill in a timely manner, and it was accurate too. We strongly and enthusiastically recommend Roof Right!

Our House was built in 1957 and has a large complex roof with 3 gables, 3 valleys, a large stone chimney that needed re-flashing new siding needed on 1 of the gables and all flashing replaced. Their roofing advisor and estimator Odi was extremely knowledgeable ,professional and extremely thorough. We had 7 other roof companies (ie their competitors) give us roofing bids and none of them were anywhere near as thorough, knowledgeable or as professional as Odi from Roof Right which is why we decided to use them (along with their Angie's list top ranking). Many of these other roof companies didn't even go into my attic which is essential for a proper estimate. I am very difficult to please and demand top quality work and follow up if needed which was and is the case with Roof Right. Because I see so much fraud in my profession I insisted on watching the entire job in all stages for the work being done and was present to inspect the work at every stage. Roof Right had no issue with this. The Job Foreman Ivan was also great and made sure everything was done properly. The job took 2 and a half days because of the size of the job and my wife and I could not be happier with how it looks and the quality of the job. They also warranty their labor for as long as the shingle (which in our case was lifetime). Out of 7 major roof companies in our area they are the only ones that called me back regularly when I called them and had great follow up. I highly recommend them

A very, very bad experience. Make sure you pay attention to the details because Roof Right isn't. Roof Right's repair specialist, Doug Mott, showed up on time for the appointment to inspect the roof. After his inspection, he told me he would send me a contract for performing the work. After a few days, I received the contract and it was riddled with errors and all sorts of inapplicable provisions. The price Roof Right quoted was also over $3,000 more than the next highest quote I received. However, based upon their Angie's List reviews, I decided to move forward with Roof Right if we could resolve all the issues in the contract. When Doug eventually got back to me, I raised all the issues in the contract. He seemed surprised, telling me that no one ever reads the contract, but he agreed he would fix the terms so that the work described in the contract matched the work that would actually be done. After a few more days, I receive a revised contract, which was also wrong. So, I call Doug, he acknowledged his mistake and told me he would revise it once again. A few days later the revised contract comes back, this time correct, and I'm ready to move forward, but when I call to pay the deposit, I'm told that it may take a couple of weeks to schedule the work. When I pressed them to expedite the work given that it took 3 weeks to get the contract correct, I was told that they couldn't because Roof Right doesn't do the work themselves, they would need to find a subcontractor to do the work. I was blown away, I was ready to pay a premium price for work that I thought Roof Right was performing, but in fact, Roof Right is simply a middle-man, who farms the work out to subcontractors and keeps their mark-up. At this point, I'm just exhausted with dealing with these people, so I tell them that I'll move forward with the deposit when the contract reflects the fact that the work will be done by subcontractors and is counter-signed and returned to me. The next morning, I receive a phone call from Linda Standiford at Roof Right and she proceeds to tell me that Roof Right wants satisfied customers and that they don't think that I'll be happy with the final product, so they are declining the work. After hanging up it struck me that a satisfied customer from Roof Right's prospective must be one that doesn't pay attention to the details, doesn't read the contract, or care who performs the work, so that when something goes wrong, Roof Right can look back at their poorly drafted contract and disclaim responsibility. I'm not sure how Roof Right normally operates, but what I do know is that it took them 3 attempts to properly reflect the proper scope of work in their own contract and then they declined the work when I started raising issues with the terms. Its really a shame that Roof Right's customers don't pay attention to the details, but fortunately for me, Roof Right declines to work for customers that do. There are so many better companies that take pride in their work and won't take issue with a customer asking for the details in writing. After all, if Roof Right was planning to do a proper job, they wouldn't hesitate to put it in writing. My advice for anyone considering Roof Right - Get quotes from their competitors and scrutinize the details. After my experience with Roof Right, I was easily able to engage one of Roof Right's competitors to do the work based upon accurate contract terms. It was over $3000 cheaper than the Roof Right quote and they did a fantastic job.

Two man crew arrived in their truck at 9:15 am. Finished and departed at 3:15 pm, and took an hour for lunch. No issues with the workmanship. Work performed was two men for 5 hours, total of 10 man hours. For $1875, that is $187.50 PER PERSON PER HOUR. As I feared, the price was way out of line for the amount of work performed. The issue is the high cost, in my opinion. When the estimator/contract salesman presented the price of $1875, I thought that was high and questioned it. His response was that Workers Comp Insurance was expensive for roofers, and that it would take a full crew "quite a while" to do the job. A missing slate was allowing rain to leak into the attic, and I was somewhat "over the barrel" to get the work done soon. I provided the replacement slates, and they provided the roofing tar, some copper nails and a short sheet of aluminum. Fortunately the layout of our 1875 Victorian permitted them to access the roof by exiting to the roof through a third floor window. No need to set up 30 - 40 foot ladders. I did sign the contract and agree to pay the $1875, which I have done. My purpose in writing is to recommend that Angie's List members obtain additional price quotes before using this company.

I have used Roof Right for 2 other repairs on my slate roof and have always dealt with Odi. He is consumately professional and understanding. My roof was again badly in need of repair & I hesitated to commit to a new roof but he worked with me on the details & pricing and it wound up being much less than I anticipated. My roof was replaced with 40-year-guaranteed tile. Odi and the office staff are great!

This is second time using Roof Right. Liked them 1st time and this time they were even better. The crew was fantastic and stayed until 8:00 pm to get the job done in case it rained over night. Very pleased.

Roof Right's representative Odi Sarabia was very professional and very thorough. He provided us with a very in-depth estimate for the cost of the repairs. Although we decided not to use Roof Right for the repairs we do plan to consider them when it is time to replace our entire roof.

Rick patiently educated me on shingle and other features in our selection. Estimate was quick. Scheduling was fine. Could text him directly if needed or contact office staff. Materials arrived as planned the day before; project mostly completed in one day with the solar tubes installed later. A final inspection was done as well. Everything was just easy-going and flexible.

I worked with Rick Stultz. He was the initial salesman he was honest and followed through with everything during the entire project. He was the best! I would recommend him to anyone. He is the reason that I hired them! The best contractor I have ever worked with.

It was fine! My gutters are about 90 feet and there were no additional fees associated with the deal. He was at my home for about an hour and a half. We have hired them twice now. Their work always lasts for a good 6 months after they come out.

Because of scheduling difficulties Roof Right allowed me to postpone satisfaction of a big deal coupon for several months. Every time we tried to schedule, something come up. They were very very very patient. I?m glad to say, I finally got my insulation blown-in and it is wonderful. The installation of my insulation was quick and clean and the guys were professional, pleasant, and helpful in answering all the questions I had. Almost immediately I could feel the difference the insulation made in the cooling of my house. This was well worth the wait. Thank you Thank you Thank you

In Oct., 2012 Odi the Roof Right representative arrived on time to give me an estimate. He inspected the roofs and provided pictures of the areas that needed repairs. Odi also prioritized the repairs for me and we discussed financing. However after all that I was not in a financial position to commence with the work. After several months I was in a better position to go ahead with the repairs and contacted Odi. The company assisted me with obtaining a no interest loan. The work was performed in Jun 2013. I was very satisfied with the work and with my dealings with Odi. I would consider hiring Roof Right to perform other roof repairs and would recommend them to others that may need roof repairs. It was a pleasure doing business with Odi.

job went good.but it was after thev fact that problems occured.rain during storm wasflowing onto the deck completely missing the gutter.i got on roof myself to ck the problem.the gutter guards were installed too far forward causing the water to drip onto the deck. i tried to move it away my self .then i called installer some one came over and ck'd the problem out. he called later and told me to watch it for problems again and he would return.today during the rain it started doing same and also had aleak coming down exhaust heat duct. icalled drytech and iwas told i would have to wait a couple of weeks before it could be ckd.i asked about someone just to look at i said nothing about during the rain ,he assumed that i wanted them here now,andhe got kind of nasty so did i....i hung up on him.

It wasn't very good. I wasn't able to use it because it took them several days to call me back and I needed to use it right away. Once they did call me back, they didn't have availability within the near future that worked with me. I had to hire someone else for my need.

Repairs were fine. My only complaint is that they took pictures of my roof and said they would email me the pictures, but they didn't send them.

Tim was very professional and showed up when he said he would. He gave an estimate for the work which was reasonable for what we wanted done. The roofing materials were delivered the day before. The men arrived on the day early and got right to work. A small amount of work needed to be finished the next day. Everything went really well and we are grateful to Tim for all of his assistance through the process. Three months later and many rainstorms and we are very glad we had Roof Right do the work.

Rick came out to give the estimate for replacement of our roof and was very knowledgeable and professional. He took the time to walk me through the work in detail that would be performed. We had one minor miscommunication on the day the materials were to be delivered. Linda in the office was very courteous and helpful when I called the office. The crew showed up ready to go the next day led by a very personable supervisor named Jose. The crew set about stripping the roof down until the materials arrived. They worked hard all day until the roofs were removed and replaced on both the house and the shed. One section was incomplete at the end of the day but Jose returned to finish within a day or two. He also corrected an issue we noticed on the main roof in the front of the house. Joe came to inspect the installation and made a few adjustments along with adding a correction to the top of our shed. We are more than pleased with the overall professionalism and dedication shown by the folks representing Roof Right.

All went well, I would gladly do business with him in the future! He was careful, open and honest. I wound-up hiring a full-time professional mason that specializes in this type of work to remove the old crown, point-up and waterproof the chimney which we suspect is the culprit, not the roof or flashing.

It worked out very well. Scheduling was fantastic. It was a good deal.

The work and scheduling both turned out fine. This is the third time we’ve used them and it's alway been excellent.

I have scheduled two appointments for a roof inspection with this firm. They cancelled the first appointment with me due to a conflict with an employee on vacation. They never showed up for the second appointment at the time scheduled time and when I called told me that they could come later in the morning or I could again reschedule. I try to be understanding of others time and so really cannot understand when others do not recognize that my time is valuable too. Pending the results of my roof inspection, I was prepared to have this company install new roofing on my property. Now, however, based on their thoroughly unprofessional performance, I will not give them my business and I would encourage all Angie's List members to view them with caution.

It was ok. They were very responsive and professional. They didn’t identify any problems. I had a leak after they left and I fixed it. They gave me a quote for one of projects that I asked for but not for others. The quotes were high.

They were good. It got done in two days. They did everything quickly.

The roof shingles were replaced without difficulty. They couldn't match exactly but it was close. The inspection report gave unusual information about roof fans and air flow invalidating warrenties which I had never heard of. It took almost 10 day to receive an estimate back and it was extremely high compared to other estimates. I would not use them for my replacement.
