Pine Ridge Property Maintenance

Description of Work: I have used Pine Ridge Property maintenance when we were in our townhouse and then in our house. They came out with several fast mowers every two weeks per our contract and weed wacked and blew clippings off sidewalks and driveway for $50 a cut. They were at my house timely every other week and were done with 3/4 acre in 15 minutes with their large crew. They were always professional. However, they just sent me a letter 3/14/12 stating that due to the economy and problems finding good workers, they are downsizing and consolidating operations to 100% commercial Lawn mowing & snow removal. They will no longer be doing residential mowing or snow removal. However they will still be doing residential landscaping, tree work and excavating. I have used them in the past to weed and mulch and they did a good job in record time. They hire very hard workers. I am sorry to see them go but would use them for landscaping.

Description of Work: This company took over Overshot Wood Products. I ordered a cord of 14" wood. Some of the wood was larger than 14" and some too wide to fit in wood stove. He knew prior to delivery it was for wood stove and he had my file from Overshot Wood. There was also a lot of dirt in with the wood. You could see it pouring out as the wood was dumped. Mr. Stetter was rather rude when I called him but he agreed to an amount of reimbursement. I did not hear from him after that so I called and left a message. No response. I called again and said I was going to put his name on Angie's list and the consumer division. He called me back right away and left a message. He said he had had his secretary cut me a check but if I did not get it he would send another one. This I do not believe because I had called and said I had not received it. He asked that I call him and I see no reason to since he was rude the first time. He knows I have not received the check.
