Window World Of Baltimore

Very bad. It took much longer than 6 weeks and several phone calls for them to come and install the door. When they came, they had the wrong door, so they had to make adjustments to fit the door and turn it around. Then they realized that they don't have the screen door, so we had to wait 4 days to get the screen door. They brought it while we were at work, but they told us they didn't need us to be at home for that. So, when we got home from work, we saw a sloppy installation without even installing the latch for the screen door, but leaving it on the floor. My husband had to uninstall the screen door, fix the wheels, get it straightened, install the latch and the screen door over again. What if he wasn't skillful enough to do that. We probably would have waited another 4-5 days... They also were supposed to bring the final few pieces of the door, which were necessary as they didn't have the correct door. It has been more than 2 months since the last we heard from them and we never received the last missing pieces. This company lacks organization, customer service and promptness. We would never use them again, even though we have few more windows and doors that need to be replaced.

The guys showed up early, and were done before noon, they cleaned up after themselves, and didn't cause us to have to do any inside work.

We didn't have any complaints with them. We thought their prices were outrageous. We ended up not using them. I don't think there was anything that exactly stood out about them. They came when the were supposed to. Outside of that I don't think there is much more memorable. They came and did what they were supposed to they didn't irritate us they just didn't match on the price.

Quality was superb, as was the installation.

Very well. Took a little less than a month to have our windows made and they were able to work around to travel schedule to install them. The installer took care to make sure that our basement area near the window was covered with a drop cloth and after the install everything was put back the way it had been when he arrived. One of the screens was missing from a window, but they ordered a replacement and will install sometime this week.

They were very pleasant and professional. They came out with a crew of 5 and had it done in less than a work day. Two guys worked on the basement and the other 3 worked upstairs. They were clean and didn't leave a mess. They did a good job in a timely manner. They were all double-hung windows and easy to replace if needed and easy to wash.

Window world was very helpful in assisting us with choosing the replacement windows for our home. The windows are good quality and the warrantee is very good. We were happy that the windows came in earlier than expected. Our home was left as if no one had been there which was appreciated. Our salesman was a bit condescending, but other than that I would recommend this company.

They did a beautiful job and we are so incredibly pleased with their product. It has protected us from the cold. It took them one day to complete the work. somebody came the next day for inspection and to make sure we are good with it. They are highly recommendable. The clean up was excellent.

Can't say enough good things about the Window World experience. Our neighbor had windows installed by them a few months previously and, because they were very happy with their experience, we decided to use Window World as well. Our initial contact was with the "salesman" who was exceptionally knowledgable, showed us why new windows would improve both appearance and energy consumption, and was very responsive to our needs. Next contact was with the gentlemen who came in to measure for the windows. I would describe them as both courteous and efficient. On the day of the installation, two men arrived. Apparently a third installer should have been there also, but was unavailable that day. Despite the fact that this was a very large job, the two installers did not leave until the installation was complete. They worked tirelessly and did an excellent job. When we look objectively at the job done, we could not be happier. We are thrilled with our new windows and with Window World of Baltimore.

The salesman with whom I dealt was Liam. He was prompt and very professional. He gave a good presentation and answered all of my questions. There was no pressure. The installers arrived promptly at 930am on 8/22. They completed the job at about 330 pm. Their work was outstanding. They were very detailed and cleaned up perfectly. We did a thorough inspection before they left.

We had one issue that they did take care of, it was a window that was not configured properly and they did replaced it so that was okay. Overall the windows were fine. It could have been a little bit better quality which you don't have until you've actually used them for a while.

Salesman visited with initial measuring and quote. He was on time and was able to finish within an hour. Only downside was the sales person's repeated follow up (which is fine) and message teetering on rude when I had not returned his call within 24 hours. (Not fine. The windows were not my priority at that particular time.) He almost lost the sale. We decided to go with Window World due to the price. The installers were great...very professional. Clean up was great. Two windows were mis-measured, so they had to come back to install them. Not a surprise with so many windows. We had to call twice about when they were coming back. We really like the window. Would have been nice to receive a follow up call to see how things went, especially since we dropped 14K on the windows, but we have not. I rated everything an A, except a C for professionalism and that was due to the salesman's message and a B for the follow-up and need to call to find out if the reorder had come in.

Sales person was great. Windows look great from outside. Didn't show when expected. Windows measured wrong so had to come back. Not as sound proof as expected. Subcontractors did install, damaged wood around Windows, poor caulk job, got caulk on Windows and Curtains that wont come off. Wouldn't recommend to anyone. In fairness, friend used them and had great experience.Unfortunately mine was not the same. Slider door has Atleast 4 inches of uninsulated space between top of door and bottom of wall. It was poor job and poor customer service.

It went very well. I like the pricing. I chose to go with them because they came and did a demonstration and the windows seemed up to par with any of the other ones, the quality looks to be equivalent to that of what we would have gotten at a bigbox company. They were responsive. If anything was lesser than an A grade, it would have been cleanup. Their installation was good, the order in which arrived was not completely proper so a couple of the windows had to be replaced. There were a number of scraps and pieces of aluminum that were left in the yard but their responsiveness made up for anything that was wrong.

I had to reschedule several times just because of the snow and they couldn’t do the work outside. They were still very responsive. They were the best on price as I got 3 estimates from others too.

It went okay. I had to go back and check their work. It was an insurance thing. He gave me the option of using whoever I chose and I chose them because my brother has used them. Their price was really outstanding compared to others. I heard whether it's true or not that the place was good.

They provided the best estimate with no hidden costs. Their work was done on time, and the windows are great!

The work went smoothly and expeditiously. The team (2X) arrived by 0900 and departed by 2:30. I was completed satisfied with the appearance of each and the lack of exterior noise is very much appreciated. The ease of use for opening and cleaning saves time.

I got a free in home estimate. The salesman was professional and knowledgeable. I did not feel any pressure from him to purchase windows. I shopped around and decided to go with Window World because of the price. On the day of installation, the installers arrived on time. They were courteous and professional through the whole process. There were two workers, it took approximately 4 hrs to replace windows. Before leaving, the installer did a walk through with me to test out the windows and he answered all my questions, as well as gave me instructions on how to clean my new windows. They did a great job, the windows have given my house a fresh look, great curb appeal.

We were overwhelmed when we started looking for new windows. Fortunately our neighbor, who is a real stickler had been interviewing window companies and after speaking with about 6 or 7 different ones, had chosen Window World. We waited until their windows were installed and gave them a week or so before we invited ourselves in to see and hear about their experience. They were very happy with their new windows and demonstrated how easy they were to operate. I played with one of their windows, trying out the locks, the different features for easy cleaning, and the ease of operation. We were sold. I called the salesman that they recommended and made an appointment for him to come to our house. Mark Stansbury was very friendly, not a hard sell, and patiently and thoroughly measured our windows, explained the full process and we agreed to have the windows on the front of our house replaced. They were custom made to our measurements and we were told it would be about 6 weeks. When the windows came in, 3 men came to install the job. They very carefully removed all of the windows to be replaced and then commenced to installing and calking the new windows. We had 9 windows replaced the first time. They were very careful and removed all of the debris and had us check to make sure everything was all right. We were so happy with the windows that 6 months later we called them back to replace the rest of the windows on the side and the back of the house. We had 20 windows replace in all, and we were very happy with the Company, the job, and the people with whom we interacted. My kitchen windows are very difficult to reach as they come to a corner behind my kitchen sink. Mark suggested that we have casement windows installed and they work much better for us in that area. We were very pleased with the personal attention to our job and the overall appearance of our windows. When the work was finished, we had another neighbor come knocking on our door to try out our new windows. They were so impressed that they also purchased 20 new windows for thier home. We have had many compliments on our windows and we are very happy with them.

Window World came to our home for an estimate in early December. They did a nice job of presenting their product and giving us a competitive estimate. We had previously priced windows to install ourselves and their windows, including installation were competitively priced. A firm installation date was not provided, but a date between Christmas and New Year's was estimated. Window World did not get back to us until January to let us know they would not be installing between Christmas and New Year's. Window World came on the assigned date and did a professional job of installation. Two of the 19 windows were the wrong size and two windows did not have the proper finish. One window was a bit sloppy in terms of trim and caulking and some screws and trash from demolition were left around the yard and on the driveway. Approximately two weeks later the improperly sized windows were installed. Only one of the improperly finished sashes was provided. We are still awaiting the second sash. Almost complete. We need one window re-trimmed and the final sash to be installed. We like the windows and they have been professionally installed. There have been delays and a bit of sloppiness but overall quite pleased.

The only negative thing was that the advertising price was not what he originally quoted us but he did go back and honor that price.

I debated for over a year on how and who to get for replacing a main window that I wanted downsized slightly. I normally do my own work. finally I temporarily signed for Angie's list and I'm glad I did. It became obvious to me that Window World is who I should call. At first I had problems setting up an appt. time and then I missed the scheduled time, but Jason was kind enough to come by on his day off(Sat. Morn). He was prompt and very courteous. I actually had the window downsized slightly and he acknowledged that it shouldn't be any problem. He then demonstrated the window which was slightly better designed than other windows which I had replaced a couple years back by another company. He quoted me a price which was on the high end of my scale but since it was only 1 complete window and I wanted the size modified somewhat there would be an additional charges. I had no problem with that as long as it looked professional on the outside. I received a call a couple weeks later and set a day and time for installation. L.T. as he called himself arrived on time and was very professional throughout. He even apologized for the company after sizing up the install as none of his paperwork indicated doing modifications to the size and he felt unprepared material wise. But I assured him I could assist with any materials. As the demo and install progressed my confidence increased because he was taking great care in every phase. He covered furniture and appliances, Vacuumed several times. I felt as though he was installing this in his own house. It's rare to find a worker of his caliber and work ethic today. I can only hope the next customer gets L.T. as their installer. Oh and by the way, I have high standards and he exceeded them!

Jason arived 10 minutes early and I showed him the door. He heard my situation and he saw the door was fine for what I needed it for. He said no door can prevent a flood from occuring and he was not going to take $1500 from to replace a door that will eventually let water in. He said he operates honestly and would rather do the right thing than just sell me a door and possibly bring complaints in the future. I complimented him on his honesty!
