Since 2006 Air Duct Pros, Inc. has provided Residential Air Duct and Dryer Vent Cleaning Services to over seven thousand homeowners in MD. Air Duct Pros, Inc. is a small corporation, owned and operated by Duane and Melissa Loverde. We specialize in air duct and dryer vent cleaning services. Our company was started to be the opposite of bait and switch companies, we offer flat rate pricing with no hidden fees. We never use subcontractors, and our only crew is owner operated with over 18 years of experience. Our gas powered HVAC duct cleaning equipment (Nikro #HP20), is more powerful than electric powered equipment and offers more mobility than traditional truck mounts and stays outside to avoid cross contamination.

It seemed to go well but the contractor did not take the time to show me the different air ducts that were cleaned or the cleaning site in the basement. They left a bit of a mess in the basement that I had to clean up.

There were no additional fees associated with the Big Deal. Halfway through the job, they got another job to follow up after mine. When they got the second job it seemed they were working faster and the thoroughness of their work may have been compromised at that time. As far as the quality of the work, it’s hard to check to see if they did a thorough job or not.

It was fine. They were thorough and clean. They did leave any mess. They set us right up. They were here when they said they were going to be here. I don’t know if we are going to use them again because we thought it was allergies.

I seem to have a lot more dust than I used to have, like in the bathrooms, and kitchen. I don't know if that is why I have more dust than I used to have. The price was good.

I am sorry you feel you have more dirt then before the cleaning, with our method all debris is placed under negative pressure and then pulled to our machine outside, therefore this could not be the reason for your issue, it has been two years though since your ducts were cleaned and they could possibly be dirty again

I purchased a big deal from Angie's List and their services turned out very good. They did not charge me anything extra other than the big deal purchase. He showed me exactly what he was doing, everything step by step, so I enjoyed it.

They did a great job. We had never had our ducts done and never even realized that it was something you needed to do so we saw a big improvement. It was a Big Deal so the price was good. They came exactly on time the day they said.

They were very professional, clean job and efficient.

It was good. I had no problems with them. I haven't really noticed any difference but I guess the vents are clean. I guess the pricing was alright as opposed to some other companies. I would use them again.
Description of Work: I used the "Big Deal" that I purchased for the services of Air Duct Pros. They come in and they go down to where the main ducts are and they cut a hole in it which afterwards they tape it all up. Then they put their machine in and it sucks everything out of the whole house.

I would like to have known ahead of time that everything had to be cleared from underneath all ducts. Didn’t use drop cloths, so the little shreds of metal from cutting the holes were all over the place, including clean clothes. Other than that, they were great.
Description of Work: I bought a big deal for $274 for a One System House Air Duct Cleaning with Unlimited Vents. Air duct cleaning and mold-killing spray in ducts. House was built in 1972 and it had never been done. Paid an additional $100 for the mold spray.

I have not had my duct work cleaned since I have moved into my house, which was 25 years ago. They showed me a before and after view of the ducts and I was quite impressed. They were professionals who clearly put the customer first. They also gave me honest advice as to how often I should have both my dryer vent and duct work cleaned. I would use them again and have already recommended them to a friend.

Service went well. The provider made comments to other contractors that were working in the house the same day which were unneccesary. They were hired to clean air ducts and not tell the electricians how to do their job.

The came in the front windows to plug in the vacuum to my system which was great but they didn't put the windows back on properly. They did come back and put them on correctly once I discovered the issue.

I am sorry if you had any issues with our service, I do show we completed your service in January 2011, I wish you would of contacted us with your issue at that time. It is also frustrating that Angies list is contacting all our big deal customers years later and most customers just don't remember exactly what happened years ago with a contractor. Also, we did demote and then also not long after terminate, the lead tech that did your job due to his ability to self motivate and supervise himself

Description of Work: They were told in advance that we had a craw space. But when the worker showed up he said the craw space was not big enough for him to work in. Than was strange since will had just completed a major renovation with plumbers and electricians in and out of the space all the time. The space is big enough that you can craw on your knees. It is also completely covered in gravel. Not a muddy mess as the worker said. Also his attitude toward my wife was belligerent and condescending. He was really upset when she showed him the dryer vent location. He said that this was his 1st job of the day and he did not what to get muddy. At that he was told to leave Know further comments are needed .

I am very sorry that we were unable to perform your air duct and dryer vent cleaning services, and yes we were aware that your unit was located in a crawl space and this has been an issue for us in the past, and at one point we did not schedule at all for units in this situation, but from our conversation it sounded workable for us. However, the office did not advise Duane, the owner and lead tech, of the crawl space and normally he would have known before entering the home. So, when he saw the unit location he was caught off guard and instead of being unhappy with the office, he must have showed this to the customer. Also mud was only an issue with the location of the dryer vent, and that is not the only reason he could not perform this service, it was also because the deck was so low he could not use his tools correctly to clean the vent to our standards, and because of the issues with fires due to dryer vents, we do not perform them unless we know they can be cleaned correctly. So we are very apologetic that our company showed any negativity to you, and we will make sure to 100% fix this issue in the future.
