They said they don't use sub contractors but they did. They said they send out a two man team but we ended up with one man who was a subcontractor. He did not take off all the covers to clean and some of the covers were bent when he was done. We felt that he did not do a thorough job of cleaning them. We would not recommend him.

They were very good. My house is old and the ducts were extremely filthy. They cleaned them very well and patched up cracks on my furnace. It cost more than what they quoted but that is because they did more work than expected. They did miss my first appointment and I had to reschedule.

They did make the effort to come back and make it work. They were nice to deal with and listened to me. I have referred them to others.

In a word, my experience could be summed up as "eh." Not great; not bad. I called to get an estimate to have my air ducts cleaned (I have bad allergies). Their estimate seemed reasonable compared to others and I decided to throw in the carpet cleaning. When they arrived, they had the 'add-ons' that were almost required if you wanted to get the ducts cleaned properly (i.e. cleaning the coil, blower, sanitizer, etc.). This makes the pricing seem deceptive. Furthermore, they strongly suggested that a 'scrubbing' be included with the steam cleaning of the carpets (another 'add-on'). Yes, I know these aren't required but it almost makes it seem like you are getting an incomplete cleaning if you don't do all of the above suggested items. After all was said and done, my original estimate of $270 shot up to $690. Frustrating. Nonetheless, we decided to move forward and upon a further inspection it was determined that the air ducts could not be cleaned after all (because one of the return vents was too high). In the end, all they could do was clean the air coil and blower and the carpets. They did a nice job with the carpets and I would definitely use them for that work again, but I was disappointed they couldn't do the air ducts (not their fault, but I'm sure I am not the only house with a return vent located 15' above finished floor). The two technicians were friendly and professional and did their best under the circumstances.

Very pleased with the service. Extremely responsive, came and performed work one day after contacting them. Technician was a little late, but company kept me posted. Technician very good, though left me with a little clean-up.... he did get most of the dust and dirt.

I had a fire in my house months ago and I have not been able to completely remove the smoke smell. I had my HVAC system cleaned and ozonated by another vendor, but the smoke smell remained. After about 2 hours of cleaning by Air Duct Pro's the smoke smell is gone and has not returned.

They provided an estimate over the phone. They were very professional and explained the work before the work was started. While they arrived an hour late, I was called beforehand so I knew when to expect them. The company did an excellent job, and did not leave any mess while doing the work. They put down dropcloths so that our carpets were protected while the equipment was in the house. I would highly recommend this company--great work and a great price.

I contacted the company through their website to set up the appointment. I immediately received a response giving me the date and time of my appointment. The day before my appointment, I received an email reminding me of the appointment and also a video clip describing the air duct cleaning process. This was helpful because it showed me what to expect. The day of the service, I received a call 30 minutes before the technicians arrived. The technicians arrived on schedule. They went through the house and then sat down with me and explained what would be done. As they were doing the cleaning, the technicians periodically explained the process to me. Overall, I was very pleased with the work that was done and how responsive and professional the company was.

We made all of our arrangements on line and they were very responsive. They arrived punctually at 9:00 am. They had been given a list of units to service and were flexible about the order to accommodate a unit owner who needed to leave for a flight out of town. They worked efficiently and managed to complete the job earlier than was anticipated. They were professional, cordial and have a well run operation.

Good, scheduled online, received a call when they were on the way, the house smelled great when they finished and the techs were very professional.

They arrived on time and they did what they said that they were going to do. They did arrive on time and were very friendly and polite. The price that they gave me was reasonable. I do feel that they did do quality work.

Horrible experience. They were quick to get out when they were done and after they left I saw why. The younger of the two guys left deep scratches in my brand new Pergo laminate floor in the kitchen and in the bedroom where he used a metal ladder to reach my ceiling vents. The scratches are so deep they cannot be repaired and sections of my floor need to be replaced. Not only were my floors scratched but they left the basement absolutely filthy with hundreds of metal filings all over the place. These were sharp bits of metal about 1/4 inch long from where the older guy cut two holes in my ducts at an additional charge of $90 per hole (he said it was necessary in order to clean them). The bits of metal were all over the floor, on my chairs - even in my cat's food bowl. I found some of these bits of metal upstairs. I can only guess some got stuck in their work boots (perhaps this is what ruined my new floors?) It took over an hour to clean up after these guys. The older guy also moved a cabinet to get to my return vent and instead of lifting it he just pushed it across the floor which also left a slight scratch. Thankfully that one is only minor and isn't as noticeable. I noticed later in the day that the AC wasn't working properly and realized the younger guy had left all my ceiling vents closed. I had to drag a 6 ft ladder from out of the basement and up two flights of stairs to open them. I'm not sure if the price was supposed to include cleaning the register covers but they were filthy so I took them down and cleaned them. The young guy also cleaned my dryer vent but my dryer didn't work any better. I stuck the hose of my shop vac into the dryer duct and vacuumed it myself. A LOT of lint came out of my supposedly "just cleaned" dryer duct. My dryer works a lot better now. Also, I was supposed to get a 25% discount on the dryer duct "cleaning" but they charged me the full price anyway. I needed to be sure my ducts were properly cleaned and fumigated so I ended up hiring another company to do the same job only a few days later. They were 10 times more thorough and professional.

The company did a good job, but they charged a lot of money.

We found Air Duct Pros on Angie's List. We called for a free estimate and Joe visited our home shortly thereafter. Joe explained how both services worked and made suggestions for our home. At the end of the visit, we felt very comfortable with Joe and felt certain of his expertise. We had an estimate within 24 hours. Satisfied with the estimate, we made an appointment for the services. The work done by Air Duct Pros on both the air duct and carpet was good. The carpet is clean and our air-conditioning is cool. However, we were not completely happy with the service. Even though we asked the gentlemen performing the services to be careful of our freshly painted walls, there was little care taken. Many of our freshly painted walls were marred with several digs, scuffs and smudges. The company was, at first, very unwilling to compensate us for any of the damage incurred to our walls. Furthermore, we had to rehire our painter to repaint the damaged walls. While the work done by Air Duct Pros was more than adequate and in the end, we were compensated in a small way for the damages done to our walls, we feel that we did not receive the level of professionalism that we usually receive from highly-rated Angie's List companies. We will think twice before hiring this company again.

They were professional, showed up on time, seemed to do a good job. I thought they were a little expensive. This was a home that had gone through extensive renovation, the ducts had never been cleaned. They seem to be clean now.

The service was superior! The technician explained everything he was doing, and let us watch the dirt getting sucked out of our home. Our house immediately smelled fresh and dust-free.

A walk-through of the house was performed to explain the nature of the work to be performed. 2 technicians were present, completed the work and walked through at the completion to explain what had been done. Issues related to the ductwork that were notice during the work were identified to me and recommendations made for maintenance. It was as expected and well done.

Two-man crew did the work. They arrived on time and worked efficiently. The entire job took an hour. I think they did a good job, but I have no way to be sure. Later, I read an article that said thorough cleaning of ducts in a house such as this one ordinarily takes a few hours, which left me wondering exactly what was done. I therefore have no rational basis for rating the overall experience or the quality of work, and I don't know whether I would hire this company again. Before having air duct cleaning done in another house, I would want to learn a great deal more about the process.

Fantastic job! They were friendly, professional, well-spoken and went to great lengths to show us the before and after version of their work, explaining what they were doing and how it would benefit our home. Prior to the dryer being cleaned of lint, I had to run the machine twice (at least) to dry our clothes (we have a family of 5, it was no small job getting laundry done & we were wondering whether it was time to replace the dryer) I now have no problem drying even the heaviest of loads in one cycle! In addition, our house was left spotless. No dust, no mess, nothing! These people were terrific, responsive, competitive in terms of price, and did everything they said they would.

I then scheduled the appointment online and received a quick confirmation. It was so simple and painless, that I contacted their office on Monday to make certain that everything was in order. It was. The professionals arrived on time and worked for about two hours. They reviewed everything with me before they started, as well as when they finished. They were personable and very professional. After they arrived, I decided to have the air dryer filter cleaned and deodorizer applied. I am very pleased with their service.

Excellent service! I call at 10am and due to a cancellation they were able to come out that afternoon. The guys, Duane and his assistant, were very professional and did an great job of cleaning up after themselves as well as explaining the process and conditions they found. They were right on time and called 30 minutes before scheduled time to say they were on their way.
