They were reasonable. They were professional and timely.

Set time, called prior to arrival, on time, courteous, professional, explained work as it progressed, cleaned up. Outstanding!

The service was satisfactory. However, I will not rate the professionalism level of the company as high. There were constant attempts to upsell more services while they were there (I remember refusing 4 times to attempts to upsell) and even though I completely refused they added an extra $99 charge for an extra service to the bill. When I challenged them on the charge, they said I approved it verbally (even though I never did). I still acted in good faith and assumed that perhaps they or me misunderstood something. When I, very politely, asked them questions to understand the sequence of the events about the charge; the foreman was rude and his exact words were "we are not that kind of company that adds bogus charges" (essentially, implying that I am lying and trying to cheat them). I run a small business myself and my belief is that a company should be polite to its customers at all times and should not make serious accusations without solid ground to support them. Even then, I tried to ignore his comment but he repeated the same statement another two times in response to my questions. At that point, I just stopped arguing and made the extra payment and wished them good bye.

Technicians arrived on time (actually early which worked better for me.) They explained exactly what would be done. Ensured we were on the same page regarding cost. Lifted furniture out of way rather than slide, cleaned up and were done in a reasonable amount of time.

They spend about 3-4 hours and seemed very thorough. They were very good at explaning what they were doing. Their large vacuum truck is probably key to really creating great suction for the vacuum. They patched up the holes neatly that had to be created for the cleaning. He told me to buy change my air filters monthly that changing cheaper filters monthly was more effective than changing more expensive filters quarterly; overall cost is about the same.

We had been looking to have our air ducts cleaned for some time as it had been several years. We took advantage of one of Angie's Big Deals and it proved to be one of the best decisions we have made in a while. The price was fantastic, the knowledge that Air Duct Pros was an Angie's recommended vendor was comforting. Making the appointment was quick and easy and Melissa was very efficient and to the point. Duane and crew arrived within 40 minutes of the start of the time range given. Duane was great in explaining what they were going to do and allowed me to see the ducts both before and after the process. We have a medium size home, yet they still spent an hour and a half meticulously cleaning all the ducts and all the output registers with forced air. Duane even recommended an air filter to us that I believe will prevent us from having to buy a new filtration unit, saving us a couple thousand dollars. I wholeheartedly recommend Air Duct Pros and will be recommending them to neighbors and friends.

They did a beautiful job. They blocked all the openings with thick foam pads while they blew out the debris, then blew in sanitizing solution to kill bacteria and mold. Very professionally done from beginning to end. No dirt left by openings.

Duane and Ken were great. Duane explained the process at the start and as they worked he gave further details on what he was finding and what he and Ken would do next. Seeing the buildup inside the ducts was eye opening....and seeing it all gone after the work was reassuring. Duane kept me informed throughout and answered all my questions. Duane also gave me tips on furnace and duct maintenance. It was a great crew and great service. I would use the firm (and this crew) again.

They did a very good job. They were clean, on time, and their prices are fair.

They had a big deal going on for $200 for air duct cleaning and $45 for the cleaning of the dryer vents. They were very punctual. They explained things as they went along. They made sure that everything was sealed and cleaned. They also made sure to go around and checked everything to ensure that they were happy with everything before they left. I would definitely use their services in the future if I needed air duct cleaning. Based on some of the other service providers that I called, they seemed cheaper but I am not sure if they did the work in the same way.

The service was excellent. The men arrived on time, explained what they were going to do and then thoroghly cleaned the vents. Our house is over 50 years old and the vents were quite dirty before they were cleaned.

They called me to let me know they were on their way and arrived promptly. They were courteous and clear about the service they were going to perform. They worked efficiently, explaining things as they did them. During the cleaning, the vent came unattached (so lots of lint blew into the laundry area). However, they brought in a vacuum to clean it up, and also secured the vent with tape to prevent that from happening in the future. They also cleaned out the screen over the external vent that had some trapped lint. They finished the job, and even vacuumed the majority of the lint that was outside the vent exhaust on the back porch area. Overall, I was pleased with the service and the results. I probably also won't wait 9 years before doing this again!

They called before arrival, and were very professional and courteous. Finished my small house in about an hour, and did unplanned work due to extra duct work for a separate furnace and a.c. unit. Took the time to educate me.

Was on time, explain all steps, double check with us before they started any new task. Clean up after job was completed.

The guys arrived at my house and completed the work professionally. I was very happy, they were both very friendly, explained everything, and did not try to sell me on other services like other contractor might try to do. They were even concerned about my cat escaping and reminded me to secure the pet. I have seldom experienced a contractor that was concerned for the well being of my pet. The guys knew what they were doing, they had a method, and were able to operate quickly without diminishing the quality of their work. Overall they did an excellent job and would recommend/use again. I would like to also mention that their customer service over the phone is EXCELLENT. They were courteous and called me to let me know the crew was on its way to my house without me asking them to do this! Others never call, even if I ask them to do so. They left the system in perfect working order and no debris was left behind whatsoever. They did forget to move one plant stand back to it's original place, but really, the only reason I mention it here is because everything else was so perfect - I have no other good constructive criticism to provide! Keep up the good work guys - my best of luck to you!

They did the cleaning they could do with the furnace and air conditioning system plus the dryer venting at a very reasonable cost (the amount is an approximate as I don't have the actual amount with me as I am writing this review). The dryer cleaning alone saved me from wasting money on a new dryer that was not needed. I appreciated their honesty about not being able to do the air duct work right because other contractors may have pretended to do the work and charged me as if they did it right. I would not have known the difference. This is something to be aware of when you have air duct contractors come into your home. Many are scam artists and do not do what they say they will do according to reports I read prior to finding this company on Angie's List.

Went very well. Estimator arrived right at the agreed upon time. A goood explanation was provided as to exactly what would be done. Service people arrived one half hour late, but called to let us know that they had to stop on the way to pick up some supplies. Did what appeared to be a good job (where it is possible to check), and returned everything to its proper place. Excellent job cleaing up at the end. Final bill matched the estimate.

It could not have gone better. They were prompt, professional, knew exactly what they were doing, and completed the job in a very reasonable amount of time.

Before the appointment I spoke with them on the phone and described to them how my air circulator is in a difficult space in my attic. After our conversation, we figured they would probably be able to do it, but we weren't 100% sure. It was their pleasure to come out (even though they weren't sure they would be able to do the job) and they didn't make me feel guilty at all. They called and gave me updates when they would arrive. They spent about 4 hours cleaning my ducts. After they completed the job, I noticed that all of my air vents were screwed back in with 3 screws and not 4. I didn't quite understand why they didn't put it back the way it was. I also found screws all over my house. Also, when the powered the system back up, it blew loose debris out for 2 days. I called Melissa about this and I felt she was quite responsive and sent me a check for my inconvenience and b/c they were running a special with AngiesList she honored it retroactively. I felt this response was fair and as far as I was concered, the matter was closed. I also recommended the firm to friends. Earlier this week I had and HVAC guy come b/c we were thinking of doing some major work on our central air. This was 4 months after Air Duct Pros came to my house and it was the first time anyone had been in our attic since Air Duct Pros were at our house. I found a number of items up there shocking. First, I found that the insulation wrapped around the ductwork was not put back. When I originally had them in my house I asked them specifically if they put the insulation back on. One spot had the insulation sitting on top of the duct work with nothing to secure it and another spot had 2 pieces of foil tape haphazardly holding it on. Obviously it won't insulate very well like this. See enclosed photos of what I found. I also found the metal circles they cut from the ductwork. There were loose screws around. Why wasn't this cleaned up? See enclosed photos. Lastly, I also found that they had not screwed the cover back on where they cleaned my air coils. See enclosed photos. Since originally Melissa was so responsive, I thought it was only fair to call Air Duct pros and give them a chance to respond. Melissa didn't quite understand what I was saying and put Dwayne (the tech & owner who serviced my home) on the phone. I was very polite and explained to him what I found. His response was a little shocking. He took a strong tone and started to attack me. He said "I never told you I put the insulation back on" and that "the 30 day warranty period is over already." I'm not interested in getting involved in a "he said," "she said." I know I asked him about the insulation and clean up in the attic & I know what he said. Lying just doesn't fly with me. I believe that when a firm comes into a customer's house and does work, they need to leave the house in the same condition it was when the arrived. Air Duct Pros left screws throughout my house, didn't screw the airvents back in with all 4 screws, did not carefully reapply insulation to the ductwork, & did not discard of the metal circles they cut from the ductwork. Originally I recommended this firm to some of my friends who used them, but now after seeing the mess they left in the attic, and the tone the owner took with me, I can't recommend them anymore. It seems they cut a lot of corners and naturally now I question the quality of their work. RESPONSE TO THEIR REPLY: I did not have them come back in June because I thought at the time the problems were isolated to a few missing screws on air vents and some loose debris blowing out of vent which resolved quickly. I asked them specifically if they cleaned up in the attic and they told me they did. Why should I suspect their integrity and think they are lying? At that point in time, the issue was resolved and I recommended the company to friends. I didn't find all the real problems until I entered my attic for the first time 4 months later. I was truly hoping for an amicable solution. When I called them to let them know what I found, I would have been happy if they just came out and cleaned up the attic and put things back together properly. When I spoke to them, and in the company's offical response they did not address any of the photos or mess they left in the attic. Obviously I'm telling the truth. Why didn't they address it? is it acceptable for a business to leave such a mess? In their response they continue to try and blame the customer and suggest a conspiracy theory. What they should be doing is instead admitting shortcomings of their service. They lied to me and left a mess. I have hired many great contractors through Angies List who have done outstanding work. I currently have 19 reports, and for those who I gave an F, none of those were hired through Angies List and actually did work in my house. Air duct pros is the first company I have hired through Angies List who I have given an F. If you decided to hire Air Duct Pros, I highly recommend doing a thorough 30 minute walkthrough before they leave. Check all of your vents, check for cleanup, check your air handler to see if it was put back together in a satisfactory way, and most of all, get all of this in writing. In retrospect I wish I would have gotten in writing that they cleaned up the attic and put the air handler and ducts back together in a satisfactory manner. Regarding a neighbor who hired them: A canister from a recessed lighting fixture was knocked loose. I'm not exactly sure why the company insists it wasn't their fault as it was directly under the air handler.

I initally received a two-hour time window for arrival (8-10a) and had a phone call by 8:10 that the team was stuck in traffic and would arrive by 9:30. They showed up a 9:15 and did a thorough job inspecting all of the vents and clearing the system. The entire job (which I'm sure was never done in this house before) took about two and a half hours. My only disappointment was that they were not as thorough cleaning up afterward. But about 30 minutes with my vacuum hose took care of the carpet area near the vents.

The technicians were on time and it did not take a long time to clean dryer vent (approx. 15-20 mins). However, I wished that more cleaning up was done after all of the lint was removed from vent and had to call them back due to ducts were not re-taped very well. I must state that when I called about that issue, they were very courteous and came back out with-in 24 hours.

I received a call from ADP about 15 minutes before the technicians were to arrive letting me know they'd be there right on time. And they were. Kenny and Joe did a GREAT job! They took just enough time to explain things to me without taking attention from the job at hand. They were very nice and considerate of my home, which I appreciate almost as much as them doing a great job. I highly recommend this vendor, and the team that came to my house.

Duane called about 30 minutes out to let me know he was coming - I really appreciated that. He and his helper showed up in the promised time window and explained the service they were about to perform - along with the estimated cost. All along the way, they would point out what they were doing and any issues they noticed. About 30 minutes into the job, Duane pointed out some mold that was building on the unit coils and explained what he could do to alleviate the problem. The entire job took about 2.5 hours - which is what I expected. They did a great job and I would recommend this company to anyone who is looking for reliable and true duct cleaning.

I have allergies & Duanne found our filter in the bottom of the furnance and a filter that had been there 5 years. They were moldy and filthy. Duane gave me a filter that would fit in my furnance w/o falling down to the bottom & actually filter the air properly. I'm sure I will have less allergy symptoms with the clean ducts & the proper filter. He also listened for my lost wedding ring when cleaning the ducts & took apart his equipment at the shop to look through all the mess to find my ring, but it wasn't there.

A very mixed experience, I probably would not use this company again, but they could have just been having a very bad day seeing the other reviews here. PRO: Great team, carefully explained the procedure, answered all questions, price was exactly as quoted, no sneaky hidden fees, called when they were running two hours late, very thorough cleaning every inch of the system. CON: Rushed the job. Drilled more holes in duct work than they needed and did not cover/fill these when done. Left screw in duct? Duct now rattles. Permanent stains on carpet (chemical spill in one area, soot in another, but the latter is largely unavoidable when working with an oil furnace). Left lots of debris in driveway -- cigarette butts, empty containers, plastic wrappers, etc. Had me sign the wrong contract (a job from a different city). Had to chase them down the drive to correct it. Ultimately, my ducts and vents are clean. They did the job they were paid to do, but I would not use them again.
