They gave me a good price on the stove, answered all of my questions via phone or email (which ever was most convenient for me) worked around my schedule and was on time on all services.

Actually came a day early (we appreciated that) and performed the required annual maintenance and performed a complete check of the generator to ensure its performance.

We decided to purchase our own propane tank to allow us flexibility in choosing our propane provider, so Shawley's was recommended to us. We went to their showroom, where Jim explained everything to us and even stayed after hours to get everything lined up for our install. We had the tank installed and all lines run for a hot water heater and stove and also had an extra line installed in case we decided to hook up a gas grill on the patio. They were very responsive and worked well with our contractor in getting the job completed on a tight schedule. They also gave us a very good price on propane. Definitely a great company to work with - highly recommended!

The service technician was very polite and thorough. He cleaned and serviced my heat pump system. Basically, checked/cleaned coils, changed filter, checked amps on compressor and checked the fan and blower. Also checked freon level and made sure the pvc was draining. I really liked the service and I will definitely call them again for the routine maintenance check-ups each year.

I called Shawley's to have a maintenance done on my gas fireplace. They scheduled the meeting for 1 pm on 4/1. No one showed up. They called at 4:30 pm and said they were running behind and would not be able to make it. We rescheduled for 12 noon on 4/2. They did not show up at 12 noon. I called at 1 pm and they said they were busy on another project and did not know when they would be able to come. I told them I would find someone else to perform the maintenance.

We were comparison shopping. It went fine and they were competitive. We happen to have LP gas service with another company but we wanted to know what our options were. Basically it was a case of apples and oranges, Shawleys is fine but so is the company we already dealt with so we decided to stick with them. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Shawleys, I'm sure they are excellent.

The serviceman suggested several improvements to my gas lines and fireplace and promised the company would send out an estimate. I asked if he was writing these down; he pointed to his head and said: "They're all in here." I never got an estimate. The fireplace stopped working two days after he left. He had said that one essential component was worn out; I guess he was right. He also did not clean up around the hearth very well; at one point he asked me for a broom, when I said I didn't have one he got one out of his truck. I wasn't very impressed. Really not sure I would use them again, even though they provide my propane.

They are very nice people. The only thing I would watch out for is their billing system. Double check your bill!

They were quite professional. Showed up on time, performed the work as agreed and charged the agreed upon price. It is nice to work with people in the home improvement business that actually live up to their work and complete job fully. I will be using them again in the future.

They sent people over to understand what we wanted for the fireplace. They were very good at explaining things to us. We felt like we understood the plan. They were so good. We just kept having them do more things. We continue to do service with them. They regularly fill our propane tank. They are very timely. They come out the same day you call. Their prices are very fair.

The experience went good. They did a great job. They don't make you sign a contract for their service, either, which was a big plus.

Shawley's is easy to work with and provides good service. I selected Shawley's because their contract was simple and didn't lock me in with onerous terms. The contract basically states that you will pay for any gas they put in your tank. After calling about 6 suppliers to compare pricing a few years ago, I selected Shawley's over a competitor because of its better contract terms. For what it's worth, they also matched the cheapest competitor's price. I liked Shawley's pre-buy offer, where you can pre-purchase the gas you expect to use in a year at a pre-determined price. Basically, they send you a letter in August with an estimate of your year's usage, and a price so you can purchase that gas in advance. They take care of filling your tank through the winter and settle up with you by issuing a credit for any gas you didn't use at the end of the season. I appreciated not having to worry about the price of propane in the dead of winter. Propane prices have gone up quite a bit, and I'm shopping around for a better price now, but I don't have any complaints about the service I got from Shawley's.
