House Detectives

Terry Wigfield of House Detectives came to do a home inspection on a house our family is considering for purchase. He wore blue footies to protect the floors of the home and explained everything in detail about the process. Throughout the process, he explained anything he found that was a potential issue or was a necessary repair or replace. We had a little trouble with the water from the seller's end but he explained what would happen if he wasn't able to perform any water testing and what we might do as purchasers. The water was turned on as Terry continued his inspection. The total inspection time took approx. 2 hrs and 15 mins. Terry provided us with a binder indicating everything he would be doing in the inspection with cases and examples. An issue was found by me and I asked Terry if he would check it out. He was very courteous and inspected the issue. He inspected it and found that it was part of another potentially expensive issue if not repaired appropriately. The home inspection, he stated, would be made available same day on his website and he would provide a username and password. He was exceptionally thorough and he may have saved us a great deal of expense had he not performed so well. Thank you for your service today, Terry. I would recommend House Detectives to anyone.
