Description of Work: We originally had the company to come and fix air conditioner, which was told there was a hole in copper tubing. This leaked the Freon out. The date was around the end of October. At this time the system was dried out approx. 2-3 hours. and worked ok until less than 30 days. When the heat came on around the mid to end of November, we started to have heating problems. Called day after Thanksgiving at 8 a.m. no response until I called Monday morning and was led to believe he was coming to check it out. Kept calling until Thursday when he was to be here at 5, and made it at 7p.m. Said the issue was he did not dry the system out long enough and also now we need a relay board...he would be in touch on.11.30. for the price of board. Today is December 7 and we are still waiting. Spoke to wife and she said she would give him the message and we left message for him on cell phone. As of the writing of this, no response. We paid 125.00 for service call the first time he came up.

The work that Crystal Air performed on October 27,2012 of fixing the refrigerant leak is completed. Service ticket attached. The ticket dated July 12,2012 was the original service request diagnosing no air conditioning, found holes in copper tubing on outside heat pump no refrigerant in system. Due to the lack of funds that the Scott’s had at that time they requested us to hold the check for the 120.00 until the following week which we did, and also ask us to give them a sufficient amount of time to come up with the final repair funds that was needed at that time. The member called us back in October and we scheduled and finished the repair dated October 27, 2012. The original cost for them was $725.00 but we discounted it for them to $525.00. After the Thanksgiving Holiday we received a call from the member stating that her outside unit was freezing up, we told her that we had several service calls that we would call her, at that time we set up a time and date and went out to the member’s house and found that the work we performed was fine. We checked the system out and found out that the system was not going into a defrost mode, so we tested the defrost board and found that the defrost board was rewired by somebody in the past. The member’s husband stated that nobody else except for one other company or tech had been out there. Rick our technician stated to the member’s husband that this had no connection to our work performed on October 27, 2012, and he stated that they had no money at this time for the heating repairs, (we didn’t even charge them for this service call). We explained to the member’s husband that we would work with them on the cost. The member’s making it sound that it was in some way related to what we did there. I feel at this point we will refrain from servicing their home or equipment further. Our original service from the member’s was for air conditioning issue not a heating issue.
