+ -1 moreThey were way too high priced so we didn't go with them. They wanted $4,000 which we thought was exceedingly high. He said he would work with us but we didn't even consider them. He came over the same day that we called so he came quickly. He was friendly, professional and seemed knowledgeable. He wouldn't work with insurance and his prices were very high so all that stuff was good but it really didn't help. They wouldn't help with insurance.
Description of Work: We got an estimate from Advanced Mobility for a stairlift and other medical equipment for my disabled daughter.

Description of Work: I was told by telephone they would try to repair my scooter but when I got there after a 30 min drive the owner/mechanic said he did not know the brand of scooter and would not look at the problem. Since I had specifically told them the brand of scooter during the telephone conversation, I did not appreciate either the wasted drive back and forth, nor the repetitive lifting of the scooter in and out of the car I did to no avail. He did check the battery at no cost although I told him I had just bought a new one.

+ -1 moreSolid, Honest Company with reasonable prices. Tough to find vendors for chairlifts and other mobility equipment. I would recommend you start with this company.

Description of Work: Our electric folding bed stopped working because of a power surge. Advanced Mobility came, diagnosed problem, said they would have to order parts and have them shipped to us. When parts arrived, we were told to call back and they scheduled when they would come to install parts. Everything went as planned.

+ 0 moreThey came prepared with all the necessary parts for installation, were courteous and efficient, gave a little lesson in the use of the chairlift and returned the following week with a new remote, which they showed us how to use. The price seemed reasonable, considering that they provided about $375 in parts and other places I called charged around $600 just for the installation, and more for the parts.
Description of Work: They installed a used stair lift that was missing hardware, battery charger, and a remote.
