Aquadon Pond and Plumbing Services

Long story short. Well, maybe not so short: I wanted a pond that was easy to clean with little maintenance. Done. I wanted a pond that I had asked for originally, but did not get,with another company; to have a water surface of 9'x7'. They had included the rocks as part of 9x7 and charged full price. I would discover that later, but moving on, I got what I wanted from AquaDon. The waterfall tiers ( four that also included a fifth tier depending on how rocks were used in directing the flow of water) added to my delight. Also, whenever I had a question or request, he came immediately to check, respond, and make any requested adjustments. I have been besieged with inquiries from neighbors and friends, lawn people and construction contractors from neighbor's yard regarding Don's work. Folks who have looked over my fence are amazed at what they are hearing and seeing. I live in Northwest, DC. My yard is a mixed use yard. My cats run freely in cages connected with high and low tunnels; the birds enjoy eating safely from three feeders located at ponds edge; squirrels approach the sliding glass doors to get their peanuts, and me? I sit out in the early evening in front of my pond and watch the birds eat and bathe. When not raining, I go out at night and watch the falls reflect the colored lights. So relaxing, I hate for winter to come. I have to say, though, I am saving for a commercial tower heater so I can have this type of Zen long into the season. Thank you, Don....( still have to tweak some of the lighting...but willing to wait till Spring, as the color lights are still very nice). I did not intend to do everything at once. It was to be done in stages. I did not intend to spend what it has cost; it was to be done in stages, too. But, I had saved for something nice to be done in back yard, and without meaning to, added a great deal to my home's value. Who knew? Kay Haller P.S. Not selling:)

The provider and his crew of three assistants removed the existing landscape, laid a heavy-duty pond liner, provided and installed several pallets of large rocks along the floor and sides of the pond, built a large beautiful waterfall with efficient filters for keeping the water clean, installed an easy-to-maintain skimmer with high-quality pump that has lasted so far for 7 years, and created a berm that now contains numerous colorful plants. The work went smoothly, and the Aquadon crew was always prompt, worked steadily and efficiently within budget and time limits, showed exemplary dedication and enthusiasm for their work, and went the extra mile. For example, Don repaired a broken drainage pipe that he had found near the pond pump drain ,provided a lotus and some koi in the project for no extra cost, etc. As the owner of a small, agile company, Don of Aquadon provides the consummate personal touch in tailoring his work to meet customer needs. He manages to save the customer money by doing what larger companies assign to a large crew with bigger, more expensive machinery. Whenever I had a question or any difficulty, Don resolved the issues quickly with no problems. For the past 8 years, he has ensured that I am pleased with my pond and able to keep the fish healthy and keep the water clear, as well as fulfilling other landscaping, drainage, and plumbing projects and contracts. I receive numerous compliments on my impressive pond and gardens, and I highly recommend Aquadon Pond and Plumbing Services as an outstanding service provider, whom I will continue to hire.
