It's amazing. His name is Joe and he's a great guy. He's very punctual and accurate. He works on weekends. He gets the job done for a reasonable price. My lawn is amazing. Thanks to him.

After receiving Plant Placement's annual Spring letter and 2013 COUPONS*, I contacted Joe Baranauskas to plan a Spring clean-up. He and his crew showed up as planned. He was on the property 3 times, and each time called in advance to alert me that he would be there incase I had reason to ask him to reschedule.
On the first day that he was delivering mulch, there was a family in mourning across street. Joe had the courtesy not to place mulch in the front of my house for a couple of days so that the smell would not be bothersome to my neighbors. That is an example of the kind of courtesy and professionalism that I have come to expect and appreciate from his company.
The transition of my property from drab winter debris, to freshly appointed and ready for spring growth is amazing. Joe always takes care to pay attention to every piece of plant material to see that it is fourishing properly, and makes recommendations on future care.
As a licensed Landscape Designer, his recommendations compliment what is currently on my property.
*Plant Placement always offers a PAYMENT PLAN. This time it was $1,007.35 due upon completion, then $251.75 for the months of May, June, July and August. I used a $50 coupon for this Spring Clean-up, reducing my initial payment to $950.35. He also offers coupons for each month for various services, which I always take advantage of.

Flawless. We discussed what they would do over the phone and I was provided with a written cost proposal. They alerted me when to expect them on my property. Did exactly what I asked them to do. My home looks impeccably landscaped and ready for visitors. As a result of my experience with this business, I expect that everything will look this good for many many months, and I will not need to call them again to do anything until the fall. Also, they provide a payment plan, with a portion of the job paid up front, and the rest divided over 6 months, which helped me considerably. They also mail me coupons. I should add that they stand behind their work. They have planted many trees and other things for me which they have babied through droughts and heavy snow and ice. Everything they've taken care of for me has flourished. Very flexible and easy to work with.

OUTSTANDING! As a well-educated, experienced professional landscaper, Joe consulted with me on a plan for treating my extreme crab grass problem and for relocating plant that were getting damaged from dogs. My yard is heavily landscaped and needed a lot of work. Joe worked within my budget completely, and we set up a payment plan (half when I received the first bill, and then the rest over 6 months). That way I could better afford the work. The work was done over the course of 4-days. Joe provides coupons for services, and I used both a $50 and a $10 coupon for this job. I plan to have him return in the fall for more crab grass treatment, and to do a full fall clean-up of the property. In the meantime, I have hired him to do lawn cutting ($52 each time), which he cuts high to prevent burning, edges, and cleans up thoroughly each time -- making my lawn "guest-ready". I have called him out on occasion for an interim clean up if I'm expecting guests, which he fits into his schedule for us, and is very reasonably priced.

Joe, of Plant Placement by Design, came out right away, which was perfect because we had a REALLY tight schedule. We needed a really large area (an acre+) weeded, landscaped, and plants put in before my son was married. He was the lowest of the 3 estimates that I got. He was honest in the assessment of what needed to be done, and even let me know when what I had proposed wasn't really needed. He is really knowledgeable about the plants, and flora for this area. He pointed out some species I didn't know I had! He's also a really nice guy! Even when a few days later, I threw him a last minute "curve ball" he was Ok with it, and pulled my bacon out of the fire! I absolutely recommend Plant Placement by Design, and Joe!

Thrilled! I've used this company for several years now. They always work within my budget, with no pressure. When the job is pricey, they offer a payment plan. The owner is educated in landscape design, and has provided me with a long-term plan to do as I can afford it. All of the work is top notch. There are no hidden secrets, either in pricing or the material used. I am always consulted on every job. I am always contacted if they will be on my property to work (other than routine lawn cutting). Pricing is competitive and sometimes cheaper than other estimates.
