Description of Work: CTC set up a custom one-on-one, six-week training program to fit our needs regarding working with our rescue German Shepherd. Angie, our trainer was both experienced and professional and showed us how to properly build the bond between us and our new dog. We greatly appreciated all of the guidance and will definitely be signing up for additional classes in the future.

Description of Work: Installed dog security fence and conducted training sessions to get dogs acclimated to fence. From the time I set the appointment, to the installation of the fence and the training sessions, CTC personnel were consummate professionals.

Description of Work: Trained my two rescue dogs. It went great. CTC saved my sanity. I've been meaning to post a review to express my gratitude for the difference CTC has made in my life and am glad to be finally getting around to it. I was having major problems with my new rescue (Luke). In addition, some long-standing issues with my older rescue (Darcy) became more pronounced and difficult with Luke's arrival. I was seriously thinking about giving Luke back to the rescue organization because I could not deal with all the problems. I used CTC's board and train option as well as some private lessons and was thrilled with the results. Luke came back understanding and following commands like heel, come, sit, and down. I had much more control over him and he was much calmer. Darcy, too, came back a better behaved dog than before. (She had fewer problems to start with, so less dramatic improvement). Andrew is a magician with dogs as well as with owners. He and trainer Angie helped me understand dog psychology and also gave me the confidence and tools to take control of my dogs and my life. They are endlessly supportive, always willing to help you with any problems you're having, even after your dogs are finished with the board and train program and/or in between lessons. I really can't recommend them highly enough. While the cost involved is not low, I believe it is competitive with what others charge. Because it worked, it was worth it to me. CTC made a huge difference in my dogs' behavior and in my life. (Anyone who has ever owned a dog with behavioral issues will understand that this last statement is not hyperbole).
