About us

At Window Nation, we know replacement windows. We’re third-generation window replacement experts who have been lucky to provide homeowners replacement windows, siding, and doors for over fifteen years. We opened our first showroom in Maryland in 2006, quickly growing to serve homeowners in cities across the country – and we’re not stopping there. We’re grateful for every homeowner who has trusted us to upgrade their most important asset: their home. We’ve learned a lot about home improvement over the years, but the most important thing we learned isn’t about window replacement. We learned the home improvement industry isn’t about offering the best windows, siding and doors; it’s about the relationships we build with our customers.

Description of Work: Came and spent over 2 hours, here to give me the speech they said they were not going to give. Rather than tell me the price I wanted to pay they asked what my last price was and they basically beat that price by a few hundred dollars. I told him I was not signing today as my husband wanted me to only get quotes and then together we would determine the best price. Now I ask, how did I get manipulated into signed a contract but not give them money. I think I was getting tired and signed. They did everything Angie's list told me to avoid. I cancelled the contract 2 business days later.

Description of Work: We bought 12 new windows for 1950 home. Everything from the initial visit to financing to installation was done on time & on budget! The sales staff was very professional and courteous and listen to our concerns. The install crew was just fantastic! They came a few minutes early, but called first, on one of the hottest days last September and had all old 12 large windows removed & new ones installed in less than 8hrs. Not only were the windows done, but all the trim, caulking & entire yard was spotless and old windows on the truck & ready to haul off. We have been very happy with our windows, especially the p as st couple of days with wind chills and temps in the single digits!!!

Description of Work: Got estimate for 14 windows. They install Vytex Grandview windows. | |The sales demo was very polished and the windows seem of high quality. The salesman was very professional. The price unveiling went from $22,000 down to $13,000 with current "specials". There was then a limited-quantity coupon for $1500. |We were unhappy with the pressure to purchase on the spot. |This was our first estimate and we weren't sure what was a fair price. | |We ended up signing the contract with the ability to cancel in three days. | |We got an estimate from another top-ranked company for Vytex Fortis windows for $8100. | |The brochures and specs for the two types of windows are strikingly similar. Both are made by Vytex. | |WindowNation seemed to be an excellent company that installs excellent windows. We went with the other company because we didn't we didn't see the value in the 40% markup and we didn't like the sales pressure. | |
