Description of Work: Replaced 6 windows. Windows look so much better than builders grade windows that were in the living room. Installer was by himself to it took all day and he took 2 out at once so it was quite cold. He didn't understand our request to take only 1 out at a time to eliminate open holes for freezing cold to come in. He didn't seem to speak great English.

Description of Work: Replaced patio sliding door. All work was professional, cleaned up after all work was completed, were here for 3 hours, did fine work even if they didn't have to.

Description of Work: Sales rep was very thorough in explaining the features and construction process of the replacement windows. The installers were very polite, did a quality job and made sure everything was completely cleaned up following the installation.

Description of Work: We replaced 29 double hung windows. They did an excellent job of installation and the windows are very high quality. We are pleased with the work that was done. The installation crew of 2 did the job in 1.5 days and were very professional and neat. We would use them again if we had another project.

Description of Work: My project involved replacing a casement window with another casement window and replacing a picture window with a double-hung window. The casement window replacement went fine. The other, not so much. | |The picture window had wide trim around it, which, once removed required replacement of the adjacent siding. The sales person indicated that they could match the siding no problem. The estimate, and subsequent sales agreement included a square of siding. An installer made an appointment and arrived on time to take measurements for ordering the windows. I asked him about the siding and was told he just did windows, but he would check on it for me. I never heard back, so I left messages with customer service and the sales rep. Those calls were not returned. Finally, I was contacted to schedule the installation, which except for the siding, was professionally done and they completely cleaned up afterward. After more un-returned calls, I met with the manager at the showroom and was told they could not match the siding. Another installer, also very professional, finished the trim around the window. It is well done, but doesn't look the way I'd intended. | |The whole project was predicated on being able to make the replacement window match the adjacent windows on the front of the house. This I clearly communicated to the sales rep who indicated they could do just that. Didn't happen. | |I rate the quality of the windows and the installation very high. The problem was with the broken promises of the sales rep. I have more windows to replace and I hope to find a company where I can discuss my objectives with the people who actually do the work.

Description of Work: They replaced 7 windows and framed out three of them. Since we haven't had them that long it remains to be seen the overall quality. Window Nation does not make the windows; but sells for other companies. We chose a company in our state; hoping that if there was a problem it would be resolved more quickly.

Description of Work: Finish product is good. High pressure sales we were 1st quoted $12,000.00for eight windows and a sliding. then told that they have a one night special for $6,000.00. Installed did a good job on the installion, but were not very careful of how they did it. they threw the old window on to a flower damaging some rose bushes. The scraps of metal trim were just drop on to hard wood floors and carpets had he steped on thisit could havw cause major damage. the window do work well and the house is quieter. I have taken the temperature of the inside and outside glass and there is amajor differance.

Description of Work: Had sales person come out to give estimate for over 40 windows that needed to be replaced. We did not end up using them, as their cost was almost double what we got by purchasing through Lowes and using their installers. Like with other things such as replacing HVAC, we have found that estimates are often double from the companies that spend a fortune on overhead and marketing. Shop around!

Description of Work: The sales pitch was WAY to long, but the salesman was sweet to our constantly interupting 4 yr old, listening to her stories. He even gave her a $5 bill after she made sure to announce her birthday was several days ago. I was 8 months pregnant & they called to install the windows early which was much appreciated. Installation was fast & clean. I had them redo some caulking. Make sure you check the work. They didn't clean the windows after the install which was a pain. one screen was missing. I had to call 3xs to have them bring a new one out. Nice installation team who we have had do several other improvements on our home on an individual basis (not windows, so no conflict). Great windows and beautiful!
