Met with Justin from Prime Plumbing as part of our home inspection due diligence. He was very thorough and did a good job.

My basement flooded due to sump pump failure. I called Prime and explained this was an emergency situation. They were able to fit me in within a few hours. Tom and another plumber arrived and completed the installation quickly. They were very courteous and seemed very knowledgeable. They cleaned up behind themselves and my new sump pump is working very well.

The plumber was great. Always punctual, very courteous and seems to have done great work. Cost me $200 for a bit over 2+ hours of work and 2 visits, as the he came out originally to look at the work, gave me some suggestions, and then came back out to do the install. Above and beyond in my opinion. The only negative was working through their schedule coordinator. She never answered her phone and was very, very slow in responding - I'm talking a week lag in response time at one point. However, I eventually got it scheduled, and the plumber was punctual and great.

Went great once the appt was set. Billy and Gary were prompt and very professional, they did a great job. We did have a problem however with the lady who made appointments, we called numerous times and never got a response. Finally after two weeks of calling and calling and leaving messages she finally answered the phone and we were able to get an an appointment and time.

Excellently. The plumber showed up on time, was professional and tidy, and performed the assessment quickly but thoroughly. His recommendations were easy to understand, and he responded competently to all my questions.

I called him and he was here within a week. We were having other work done to the house so they just kind of mixed in with the rest of them. We did not have to pay any additional fee other than the Big Deal we purchased. The price was reasonable. The work was fine. We had to reseat the toilet. They came on the day and time promised and did the work. They were there for about half an hour. There were two workers.

I called and they came out. I was told it likely due to the wax seal in my toilet an it needed to be replaced. I was told if after it was replaced if the water ring on the below ceiling got larger it wasnt the toilet after all an the drywall would need to be opened to investigate. Well that was before the new year and the ring got bigger. I called several times to make an appointment and each time I was told they would call me back and I wouldn't hear from them. I eventually called another plumber who came out and Identified the issue promptly. Turns out it was my shower. The plumber said the water stain matched perfectly with the alignment of my shower and was confused as to why my toilet was ever diagnosed to have a problem. The plumber opened the drywall up and turned my shower on and sure enough the water flowed right out due to an issue with my drain needing to be replaced. Because I waited so long waiting on a callback and using my shower every day the drywall damage spread causing me to have to get a large portion of my ceiling replaced. While I originally gave this company an A. Due to them misdiagnosing my issue, and having terrible responsiveness when I tried to call multiple times for a follow-up appointment I am now dropping that grade down and will not recommend them to anyone. I will not it seems they had a changed in the customer service scheduling agent because the lady I spoke to initially was very prompt with scheduling and getting back to me. The new person handling Angie's list customers is the exact opposite.

Prime Plumbing was great! After purchasing the deal, it did take awhile to hear from them, but once we got in touch they were quick, responsive, and professional. The technicians explained everything clearly, and the boiler is running just fine. They gave me a good idea of what to expect in the future from my 25 year old boiler, which was very helpful. I would highly recommend this company for boiler service. Thanks!

Prime called me quickly and set up good time with no delays. The plumber arrived on time and checked things out. He wrote up a list of work that he recommended, with notes on the manufacturer and parts that would be needed. He left me a copy of this. Overall I was satisfied and have since had some of the work done.

We just bought this house in November, so we've been slowly going down the list of inspections and repairs and we couldn't be happier with Prime Plumbing's responsiveness and quality of work. Bill did an excellent job with the boiler, first inspecting it, explaining how it all worked and what we needed to get fixed and what could wait. New valves were added to make future service easier. All Radiators were checked as well and system balanced. There was a leak in one of the lines, Bill went ahead and repaired that as well as adding a new fill and backflow valve (was not working) all in the same day. He also found our old water expansion tank (Those big green steel ones) to be waterlogged, and came back for future work to fix that. The inspection and cleaning was $99 Other services : $575 (drain, fill, new piping, new valves, new fill valve and backflow) Expansion Tank removal and install: $245

Company was initially not responsive to email / Angie's list request, but once in contact was very polite and scheduled service promptly. Plumber arrived early without calling ahead, but for me that is preferable than being late. Plumber was very professional and provided a lot of good advice and answers to a few questions.

I thought arranging the service date could have been smoother. I called Prime Plumbing after I purchased the deal and was told I had to wait for them to call me, once they received the notification from Angies List. That was fair, but it took them a week to call me, the appointment was scheduled for another week away, and then the appointment was canceled due to a sick plumber and rescheduled for the following week. Then the plumber arrived an hour early, so it was a bit unnerving but generally okay. It took the plumber about 10 minutes to fix the toilet. I expected that; it was fairly easy and I just had the wrong parts to fix it myself. I was pretty upset that Prime Plumbing charged me $35 for the rubber flapper. I looked up the exact part online and it cost $10 retail. I understand mark ups, but this was quite a lot. I asked the plumber why it was so expensive, and he told me it was the Angies List part price. I was upset to hear that Prime Plumbing charged a different price for Angies List deals than if I booked them directly; what's the point then? I called Prime Plumbing, and the explanation given in a responding voice mail was that the plumbers buy the parts directly and not online (I'm not sure why that makes it more expensive; don't they buy wholesale?) and that there are holding costs to drive to the warehouse and keep it on the vans. Again, I expect a price markup, just not so much. So, if you do use Prime Plumbing, know their service is fine but there will be a high markup on prices. Since the toilet fix only took 10 minutes and I had an hour appointment, I asked the plumber to look at 2 leaking faucets. He looked at them and said he had to buy parts for me, and then he'd call and reschedule another appointment. He left my house after about 40 minutes total and said he was going to the warehouse to get the parts, and then the front office would call me. I never heard from them again. That was a bit upsetting; I wanted the work completed, and given that 30 minutes of my 1 hour service call was spent on the diagnosis, I had hoped to get something out of it. Overall, the plumber was nice and the work was completed fine, but the price mark up was a lot and the communication was poor.

The work went well. Plumber Bill and his assistant Gary were on time and very professional. They gave an estimate of cost, which was quite reasonable, and completed the job in the time period they estimated. They communicated well during the process and were very patient with the many plumbing questions I asked. There was a great deal of labor intensive work that needed to be done including opening walls in a few places. I threw in some extra work that I wanted done beyond my initial request and Bill was able to accomodate me. Bill seemed like an excellent mentor for his assistant, talking to him and teaching him as the work progressed. I am glad to have found this plumbing agency (Prime Plumbing) from Angie's list.

Over 6 mo ths ago Technician stated a part was ordered. Service never completed. Reported to AHS to no avail. Dishwasher still in need of repair.

He didn't find much needed to be done, but checked everything out and noticed that a previous plumber had installed my water heater incorrectly. That resulted in me calling the installer and having them out to fix it. I was grateful for having this pointed out to me, as I hadn't noticed it in over a year.

Bill was great he had it fixed promptly and I haven't had any more issues.

John arrived right on time. He replaced angle stop valve on input pipe. He offered advice on a remodeling project that I had considered.

Bought a new home and had prime plumbing install a new propane boiler and propane appliances. Very timely and professional

Our sewer main backed up, company responded quickly. They relieved the clog, and replaced our sewer main at our rental.

Called Prime Plumbing because our house would not drain and all the sewage was coming up through our basement shower. We were very frantic and called Prime Plumbing and they quickly dispatched a technician who came out promptly and assessed the situation. He began working right away and cleared the blockage with what looked to be some heavy duty equipment. He asked us if we wanted the line video inspected to ensure there was no other issues. We went ahead with it and he performed an inspection finding a large amount of roots growing throughout the line. We were worried that we would have to have the line excavated, as we just recently had a lot of landscaping work performed this past summer and the line was 11 feet deep. Prime Plumbing said they would be able to set up a hydro jetter to remove the roots and avoid excavation. We went with that option and scheduled the hydro jetting. When the tech arrived later that week, he was on time and very knowledgeable. He took great care and great pride while working in our home. He showed us the before and after video and cleared 100% of the problematic roots that were in our line. From start to finish, everyone was on-time and professional, we couldn't be happier! We have used Prime Plumbing for small repairs before and will certainly be using them for all of our future plumbing needs. Prime Plumbing is excellent all around and I would recommend them to anyone!

Terrible. The countertop is damaged beyond repair and must be replaced. They will not except responsibility even though I have pictures of the damage. I now have to hire someone to replace the countertop.

Scheduling was easy, prompt response, arrived on time, work done timely.
