JLL Construction and Chimney Professional LLC

My brick chimney was in some dire need of attention along with some other odds and ends projects that I needed taken care of and it seems that I never have the time to do. So I called called a few chimney and construction companies on Angies list such as Complete Chimneys and Chimney Tek and one of them would not answer or call me back and the other one the owner that was so ignorant over the phone that i hung up the phone in frustration. So I decided to call JLL Construction and Chimney Prof. I did not get an answer when I called but i was about ten seconds into leaving a message and they were already calling me back. I spoke directly with Brian the owner and was very pleased that he was very pleasant over the phone and from just what i explained over the phone seemed to be one of the most knowledgeable contractors I have spoken to in a VERY long time. After a few moments we decided to set up a time to stop out and look at my project and I was very surprised when he asked what time and date would be best for me as most I have talked to just told me how busy there schedules where and what dates that they had available.So we set a date.The owner came in person on the date and time we had set. He was very punctual and very friendly and warm when he introduced himself.After a few moments of pleasantries I began to show him what all i needed done which was I needed a outlet ran on the side of my wood stove and some trim work done around my fireplace these were the smallest tasks that I needed accomplished. We then proceeded outside to look at the brick of my chimney which was just about falling off of my house. At this time after explaining what my concerns were, he then took the time to explain to me in very vivid detail of why this happened and what all causes were that made the failure occur. We then went back inside the house sat down at the table and he went over all possible ways to take care of all of my problems but what I really enjoyed was the fact that he gave me all options from the cheapest to the most expensive and gave me the option to choose. I found it a very unique quality that a business owner did not just automatically try to push the most expensive way to fix the problem on me but let me make the choice and that did not mean that just cause the cheaper options did not cost as much that just quick fixes but instead explained to me that they were just different ways to go about fixing it and was concerned about saving me money which i liked a lot. We then concluded the estimate and I was given a detailed description of all possible options and was told to take my time and think it over and if i had any questions or concerns to call back and he would help me through them. This i really liked because he was not overly pushy like a used car salesman but gave me the time to think over a large decision that had to be made. I had few questions regarding warranty of the work and when I called back it i immediately got a hold of him again and he explained to me in perfect detail again exactly what I needed to know. At this time I agreed to schedule the work and was again was asked what day and time works best for me and because of my busy schedule was Saturday and Sunday and he was more then happy to meet those needs. The day we set Brian showed up himself in person with another guy to help assist him and the helper was also very knowledgeable and was very professional. Over the course of Saturday and Sunday all the work was performed and well exceeded my expectations. The brick that was torn down and rebuilt had not looked so beautiful in the 15 years that I have owned the home, the trim work done around my fireplace was fantastic and made it look like a brand new fireplace again. The electrical outlet that was ran for my wood stove made it possible for me to stop using an extra cord to run through my living room to run the fan on my wood stove. After the experience that I have had with JLL i will never call another contractor again I am sold for life and a very happy customer and would recommend them to any one else that I know.
