Gentry's Professional Painting

Very well. On time, they kept the rooms and areas clean. Excellent attention to details. It's been a year since the work was done, and I still admire how it looks. Normally with time I notice little defects, or issues. I'd recommend them, and use them again.

Mark Gentry (owner of Gentry's Professional Painting) met with us in advance to discuss what services we needed. He arrived on time and was very thorough in providing us with all details of the proposed work. He provided us cost and schedule information up-front. One of the items that we were concerned about was the removal of the wallpaper (there was a lot of it and we did not know what the conditions of the walls would be once removed). Mark recommended removing a small portion the first day of his proposed work schedule to better determine the amount of effort required to complete the job (the cost of the wall paper removal and wall prep was an hourly rate whereas the painting was a complete cost the included all materials). Mark explained the entire process and the care he and his colleague would take when performing the proposed job. We agreed and picked a start date (which was about a week after our initial meeting). Mark and his colleague arrived on time, introduced themselves and started work. When we returned home from work we were very happy with how the previously wall papered walls looked after the first day (this was a several day task due to the amount of wall paper the previous home owners left on our walls ....) Mark's estimate after the first day was spot-on for the amount of time to complete the removal and prep work. The overall cost was exactly as Mark had quoted up front as was also the schedule. Over the next week Mark and his colleague continued work. His drywall prep and painting is impeccable. The walls look like a brand new house (very smooth, no roller streaks, splatters, very tight edges, trim really pops). Not sure how else to describe what I consider the best paint job I have ever seen on every surface in our house (my wife and I have done a considerable amount of painting ourselves in the past - we tape everything and are very picky about any imperfections). I could not find ANY imperfections on any of the walls they painted. Mark provided the paint (he purchased it at Sherwin Williams - the exact colors we had chosen in the highest quality paint they sell). After each day Mark and his colleague painstakingly cleaned each area they worked in. There was never any trash left - in some cases the floors were even cleaner afterwards than when they arrived. Mark Gentry and his colleague (Derek) were very personable, respectful and conscientious throughout the complete process. I would recommend them to everyone needing painting services and wallpaper removal. They exceeded my expectations!

Mr. Gentry and his assistant showed great expertise, professionalism, and care throughout this painting job. He kept us thoroughly up to date on his progress, offering us sound advice and clear options on making this paint job as appealing and high-impact as possible for potential buyers. He showed great acumen and care in matching and integrating new paint with the existing paint colors in different rooms. Mr. Gentry began the job ahead of schedule and completed the work in a very timely manner. Throughout this painting job, Mr. Gentry and his assistant were very pleasant to work with and were very accommodating of life patterns in the home. I would not hesitate to recommend Gentry's Professional Painting to anyone seeking a top-quality indoor or outdoor painting services at a fair price.
