My review is for work done in 2019. I had a good and bad experience with Devere. The salesperson was easy to work with, and they were very flexible with tailoring the scope of the work to our liking. Our townhouse has a big temperature difference between the first floor and the third floor, and we were hoping better insulation would reduce the difference. Devere offered to reduce the air leakage in our attic through various means and also seal the air ducts in our attic, which were discovered to be leaking air. As far as I can tell they did a good job with that. The air conditioning on our 3rd floor is noticeably stronger now and works more effectively. I presume this is due to sealing the air ducts in the attic. There is still a temperature difference between the 1st and 3rd floor, but it's a little better now. The problem is with the bay window. AC sweating near the bay window was causing water damage on our first floor ceiling, and we agreed to apply closed cell foam in the bay window attic to deal with it. The installation day seemed to go ok. Then after a few days we discovered that the closed cell foam had cracked during the curing process. Cracked foam is the nightmare scenario because it is incredibly hard to repair. Usually it means the installation crew made a mistake in applying the foam. The crew patched it up with some one component spray can foam, but that's like patching a leak in a bath tub with some duct tape. I don't know how well it will seal, and how long the seal will last. I ended signing the work completed order because I was put on the spot and didn't want to be a pain, but in hindsight I probably shouldn't have. I tried to follow up with the salesperson. She tried to get in touch with the field supervisor. Then she ghosted me and wouldn't respond to follow up emails. The Devere people seemed to be nice people up until that point. I have to give them two stars because the foam didn't cure properly. I'm not sure if I can trust them for future spray foam jobs. I also don't appreciate that they stopped responding to me.

The business is very unprofessional. Their ability in handling the business is horrible. Unorganized, they don't reference their workers. I called them but looks like they don't know what I'm talking about.

Very smooth one day installation
Description of Work: We needed attic insulation. Earlier this year we had upgraded our kitchen including replacing ceiling and soffits. There was no insulation over the adjoining garage (shared roof). We also had opening in the walls that flowed to attic.
