A Cleaning From Above

I tried contacting this provider multiple times. When I finally was able to set up an appointment, they did a hit and run. they were supposed to come by I was home with my car in the driveway. They did not ring doorbell, the only way I thought they might have been at the door was my dog barking an 1 PM (appointment was at noon). I came to the door and no one's there but a business card and I saw a van leaving already. Can't reach them by phone, they don't call back. Just a waste of money. After the missed appointment I message them again a couple more times and no response. Just a horrible way to steal money. I want a refund for this expensive voucher.

We did not have the service

They gave excellent service. They were on time, completed it within time to the satisfaction of a very particular landlord.

Provider was scheduled to do housecleaning on 5/11/15 and had automobile issues. I was notified 1/2 hour before she was scheduled to appear. She rescheduled for the next day at 1 pm but when i called to confirm she eventually left a message saying her auto issues were more extensive and she would not be able to come then. She wanted to reschedule for Friday. This originally had been scheduled in early May since there was to be a closing on the house May 14th. She would not answer her phone which was really frustrating and not professional. So the service was not used and there was no provision for my reimbursement.

The couple was professional and detail home cleaners. I would recommend them.

They were wonderful. They were very thorough, friendly but not overly friendly, and they were really great.

It was everything I expected. They were prompt, reasonably priced, and did a good job.

,Abbey scheduled the first cleaning for November 18. She emailed me that morning and said they were ill. A few days later, we rescheduled for Nov 22. Abbey & Mike arrived and did 4 hours of cleaning. They were nice, not as professional as some, but did a reasonable job. As they were leaving, we scheduled the second cleaning for December 17 at 2:00. When they had not arrived or contacted me by 3:00 pm, I called Abbey's voicemail and left a message for her to contact me. I called several more times later that day and other days, leaving messages on Abbey's voicemail - there is no question that the number is accurate as she gave me her card and it was Abbey's voice. No response of any kind. Finally, in an attempt to resolve this, I left an email message through the Angie's List message system which she had used when she postponed her first cleaning. No response. After I returned from my holiday out of town, I tried again to contact her on January 15. No response. I subsequently contacted Angie's List. The Big Deal department gave her a date by which to resolve this with me and/or let them know. They told me that she did not respond to them either.

They are terrific. We now have them come out every 6 weeks.

Originally everything seemed to be going smoothly. Than they cancelled 4 different appointments due to weather and than provider had a pipe burst in their home and couldn't complete the work. They didn't offer to send anyone else. The last thing they said was sorry for the inconvenience and never again mentioned coming to do the work. Sent them 5 or 6 emails and called them as well and never heard back. Requested a refund from Angie's List for the deal.

I confirmed this appointment with the vender over three weeks ago. We had the appointment set in stone because we had nothing but difficulties back & forth with "A Cleaning from Above" not being able to come to my house on dates I could be home because of THEIR schedule. When I had Abbey on the phone three weeks ago, we had set the date & time as Feb 16th, 9:30am. She said she would definitely be here. I fully expected them to be at my house at 9:30 this morning, but no one showed. She had my phone number and she never even called me. When I called Abbey to ask her where she was & why she didn't show, she replied that she had sent me an e-mail to confirm the appointment and she hadn't had a response from me to confirm it. BUT, we HAD CONFIRMED it on the phone together 3 weeks ago; she had my phone number and she never even bothered to call. This is wrong. I am VERY DISSATISFIED with lack of responsiveness over the weeks in providing me, the customer with the service I paid for. AND THEN FOR THEM TO NOT SHOW AND TO NOT CALL IS TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE!

I scheduled a cleaning appointment three times and she cancelled on me three times. 1st time: no show, no call, or email, completely forgot. 2nd time: after half an hour late, called to tell me she was on the way, 20 minutes later, called to tell me she was in a car accident. 3rd time: emailed me and told me she had a family emergency. I had enough of these excuses!

Arrived on time, did a good job, and were very pleasant. Couldn't ask for more.

They were prompt, courteous, and did a good job.

I bought a big deal for this service and I did not like them. For two people there were a lot of things they did not do. That is why I did not call them back. They could have been more thorough. They came out about the same time as I purchased the big deal. I would have loved them to clean my patio window but they don't do that; it would have been extra. There was no wow factor. They could have improved their service by giving me a wow factor. If I am going to spend $150 for somebody to come in and clean then I want to see everything clean. I want to see everything dusted and I want to see every corner in the floors cleaned; I just want to see exceptional work.

Very nice team of people. I was a little surprised at how fast they completed the work. I felt they cut a few corners in order to completely clean my house in less than 3 hours. However, they were nice and I felt trust worthy. Perhaps the level of cleaning was due to the fact that I had purchased a Deal and it was not a regular cleaning?

It was weeks before we were able to get something scheduled. Then we got the flu in our house and they wanted to reschedule as they didn't want to get sick. I wanted to reschedule but it has been a nightmare to get them to respond. They never returned my phone calls but did respond to messages through Angie's List. This company was very challenging to get ahold of. I basically had to chase them down to even get them to respond. It became apparent to me that this wasn't going to work out. It has been four months since I purchased the deal for housecleaning and my house has still not been cleaned.

Two people showed up. Cleaned three floors, 3 bathrooms (full), and did a good job.

They were fantastic! Thorough, polite, and helpful. Swept, mopped, vacuumed, dusted...They did it all! My bathrooms sparkled like never before!They did a great job and I hope to use them again...and again!

They surprised me this AM the schedule was for 1 PM. Didn't have my phone number so just tried to see if I was available. Very pleasant experience. My complications included extra clutter because I am handicapped. I keep things in sight so I can access them quickly. Followed my instructions carefully. Another complication is my 3 month old kitten. I didn't want to keep him in his transport the whole time so they had to carefully access certain areas in coordination with me controlling the kitten. Worked perfectly. Happy with everything and will use this company again.

Did a great job cleaning the kitchen and bathrooms. Also vacuumed floors and dusted.

So glad to have found A Cleaning From Above. They are very thorough each and every time. My house is spotless, corner to corner. Quality, consistency, and thoroughness is what they deliver. They are careful with my things and are always polite and professional. I do not understand the negative reviews. I am fussy. I expect a good and thorough clean each time, not just a wipe down, and Abby and Mike always meet my expectations. I have used multiple other cleaners (Five Star Cleaning and Molly Maids, to name two) who promised to be thorough and claimed that consistency was their forte, but these other companies did not deliver. When I met Abby and Mike, I was ready to throw in the towel. Was there anyone out there that would thoroughly clean each and every time? The answer is yes! A Cleaning From Above. I truly appreciate what they do. Thank you for your hard work, Abby and Mike. I look forward to many years of working with you.

Very well. Initially there were some initial problems connecting. However, once they arrived at my home they did a professional, wonderful job. When they left, my house was Clean and neat. I would definitely recommend their work. They were pleasant, fast and thorough. They washed the floors, cleaned the kitchen and bathrooms, dusted (including the tops of my door moldings and pictures, vacuumed. I am very happy with the work they performed.

Great. The providers were very responsive in scheduling. Also very professional and did a great job. We originally bought the Angie's list deal and now have A Cleaning From Above come in once a month and I am looking forward to it.
