Our neighborhood recently contracted Town and Country Asphalt to resurface the pathway in our community park. They went above and beyond to meet our specific needs and turn in a high quality finished product - all at a very competitive price. Scott and Brandy, the owners, are honest, trustworthy professionals; I highly recommend their services.

They did a great job. They did the work as asked and the crew was very nice and knowledgeable about they work needed. Did all the work in one day.

Scott and Brandy Jones own this company and both were very responsive to calls and questions. At my request, Scott even drove to the house for another visit the week before the work to answer several questions I had. I had a very large driveway redone in the Challedon neighborhood in Mount Airy, including expansion to make it wider and to have it meet a newly built detached garage. Scott was onsite at the beginning and was working with the crew the entire time the asphalt work was done. His crew worked hard and everyone was very professional. The finished job is excellent and we are very happy with the work and the entire experience.

Scott worked with us every step of the way to make sure everything went perfectly on our project. We had an original 50 year old driveway that had many challenges including a steep grade and several top coats over the years, that created problems with water coming in the garage and bottoming out of large vehicles on a dip in the driveway. Scott listened to our needs to resolve these problems as well as expand the parking area. He provided an estimate for several price points. His bid was very competitive given the 3 other bids we got. Scott and his wife, Brandy (office), were responsive and made sure all was done to perfection. A joy to work with.

After a phone call message and two follow up emails and a week of waiting, I had not received a reply, it was clear to me that Town and Country was not interested in my big job or perhaps they had gone out of business. There are so many professional companies out there doing asphalt work, why waste your time trying to get a quote from Town and Country?

We had excellent communication with the company. All the steps were explained clearly, and the crew showed up on time. I only needed to call the company to confirm the day and time. Everything went smoothly. The driveway looks brand new and perfectly leveled.

Quoted same day. Scott arrived at the house and quoted me within hour of requesting. Best price out of 6 quotes I got. Some vendors didnt even brother to show up and quoted over the phone using pictures. Got it done in half a day.

The job was well done. The workers came on time on the day that Scott told me and worked efficiently. All edges were crisp and tapered in nicely, for example, to the steps next to the driveway.

Scott and his team did a great job. They were the only contractor who offered the complete service: culvert replacement, driveway widening and paving and rebuilt of decorative brick walls on either side of driveway. He delivered everything that was promised and we are very happy with his work.

He responded quickly, came out the next day and gave me a very competitive estimate that I accepted after speaking with 4 other companies. Price was only 1 factor, his personality was clearly why I hired him. As for the work, they showed up at the time he said they would with his crew, all of them very well trained and experienced. They immediately got to work and worked steadily until the job was completed. They kept the work site clean and when they left the NEW driveway was nearly perfect. I highly recommend Town and Country Paving.

Very professional and efficient. The price was reasonable. In fact, this company came in with the lowest bid but with all the services quoted as compared with other companies that asked for couple thousand dollars more.

This was a most terrible experience we have ever encountered with contractors doing this type of work. The work quality is extremely poor, the contractor is totally non responsive and irresponsible. In spring of 2019, through Angie's List, we requested quotes to seal our driveway. Quotes came in starting from a few hundred to a thousand dollars. Scott from Town and Country called us and came to meet us at our driveway. He told us that our driveway was in such a bad condition that sealing could not help. He quoted us $4,500 to redo our driveway. The work started on 5/30 and completed a day later on 5/31. We strictly followed Scott's instruction and didn't use our driveway for a few days. We noticed tracks and peel-offs on our driveway only a week and half later. We called Scott back to see what went wrong. He came to examine the situations, and told us the situations were normal, and even used his feet to make another one. He told us that our driveway needed time to settle and he would be back in two weeks to put on another lay of sealing coat, and everything would be fine. Two weeks turned into two months, and counting, approaching three months. Meanwhile, more peel-offs started to appear. We kept calling and texting to arrange a specific date for him to come fix the problems. Occasionally he said ?next week,? and other times he said that we had one year warranty and we had nothing to worry about. At no time, he committed to a specific date or time. He repeatedly promised to come and broke his promises. Over the past two weeks, he stopped any response. We were concerned about what might have happened to him. We expect he would at least give us a plan. By now, we realized he may not have any intention to fix his problems. We need your help to figure out the best way to resolve this issue.

Town & Country Asphalt did an excellent job in my driveway. I hired them to repave my driveway. They did exactly what they quoted me in a very professional manner. Left everything clean. I will use them again in the future. Thanks for my new looking driveway.

My driveway was 500 SF in size and they took out the sunken and broken areas and repaved the driveway giving it a professional, brand new appearance. I had researched quite a few companies and overall I felt Town and Country offered the best quality work at a reasonable price. They were not the lowest bidder as I have learned to not get sucked in by el cheapo. The working crew was very professional and it was obvious they knew what they were doing. I liked the fact that they obtained their asphalt from FO Day who is a large commercial paver as this ensured I was getting quality asphalt. After the new asphalt was laid, Scott used a professional roller to ensure compaction and a surface that looked like glass. I paid $1600 & I have already recommended them to a co-worker.

Town and Country provided me a quote for driveway asphalt and a concrete walkway August 1st 2018. They were the highest quote but due to reviews and perceived professionalism, we chose to go with them. The walkway was so small they said it was their minimum cost. They said they could get us in the next couple weeks. We spent most of August going back and forth and finally got them back the last week of August to do the Driveway, but they said the weather wasn't cooperating to do the walkway. He asked me to pay for just the concrete and he would come back the next week ( 3 days later) for the walkway. The walkway was finally accomplished in December. All communication was initiated by me. The owner came out the day before the crew and drew a crude paint line of what I wanted for the walkway. He didn't measure, wasn't exact, etc. He said the crew would come and use that as a guideline. They finally showed up, dug everything out and poured the concrete. I paid the total bill before I could really realize what had happened. I contacted him within a day and asked if he had seen the final product. He said that he had and it was just as I told him. But, it was uneven width, the line of the concrete was curvy. The team had gone exactly by his free hand with spray paint. It ranged from 23 inches to 40 inches in width in different areas. He tried to convince me that I was person who wanted it that way. I told him I hired him because he bragged how professional and exact they were, and he said his team would "clean it up" from the drawing he did. I asked if he usually did these things free hand and relied on the customer to do QC of his work. He said that he would fix it, grudgingly. He said it would have to wait until first in the spring. Again, no communication. After months of back and forth, they finally started to respond September of 2019 to fix the problem. He tried to blame me and say it was my fault, that it was my design choice. (same as last year) He offered to fix it if I paid for the supplies, so I finally gave in because I wanted it done. They took forever to send the estimate, continued to just have no communications except when I asked if they were ever coming. Finally in November they emailed on Friday that they would "get it done this weekend" and came out early Saturday morning to accomplish. Its not a great still but at least its not completely unprofessional. I do not consider him to be professional. He has horrible communication skills and talked down to me trying to make me think his poor workmanship was somehow my design. Not to mention, all the extra money was supposed to be becuase they would prepare the ground under the drive/walkway way better than everyone else, but within 6 months there were 2 huge visible sinkholes that he fixed "even though it was due to my poor drainage." Never again.
