The provider provided very detailed and complete explanations of every facet of the home. He was also very professional and patient.

We selected this company because of the reviews on Angie's. The set up of the appointment and the time that the inspection showed up were as expected. The inspection was generally below what we expected. Although the garage was just one level high, the inspector did not go up there to inspect the roof. The secondary place where the roof could have been inspected was 2 stories high and he would not go up there because of the height, however, he still could have gone up to the garage and gotten a closer look from up there, there are issues with the roof. The inspector instead used binoculars and pointed out discolorations on the roof that he described as possibly paint. It turned out to be something else. Another example of our disappointment and of what we expected to be better; the inspector pointed out a "sump pump" in a basement room. It was actually a pump that the bathroom uses to take the water out of the basement. Our agent nicely corrected the inspector as she knew what it was. He did not want to include on the report certain things we noticed that could be safety issues, he did so after we insisted. Overall we were not at all impressed with the performance of the inspector, based on the reviews (of which he jokingly said some are fake), we expected much more. We would definitely not recommend this inspector or the company based on our experience.

He made the problem seem more severe than it really was. He didn't seem like he had anything to gain from that. He just seemed really worried even though my air quality tests were okay. I just have a dirt in the crawlspace and he made it sound like it was really horrible. I should spend $10000 to encapsulate it in concrete. I did not necessarily take his recommendations. It took him longer than I liked to get the results back to be. His price was a little high considering he only did three air samples and a 10-minute visual inspection.

Romano was right on time (In fact, he was waiting for my wife and me on the steps of our new townhouse when we arrived.). He proceeded to make a very thorough inspection of our roughly 2000 square foot residence checking for everything from mouse droppings (in the back of pantries and cupboards) to proper attic insulation. I felt like I was following a professor around because he explained everything he was doing in great detail as he was inspecting every square inch of the townhouse. I think the average home inspection normally takes about 3 hours. However, because he stopped to explain things to me in such detail, my home inspection took 4 1/2 hours!!!! He has the patience of Job. Naturally, he took pictures of everything that should be fixed and included them -- along with very helpful recommendations -- in a beautifully prepared report. I received the report within 24-48 hours. I highly recommend Romano for his knowledge (He has many years of experience in the area of home construction.), his professionalism, his easy-going nature, and his ability to put technical things into layman terms that anyone can understand.

Charlie did a thorough inspection even in our absence (real estate agent was present though). He didn't leave anything go unnoticed. He exhibited a very professional demeanor and his final report reflected this as well. I was beyond satisfied with his work ethics. And yes, I would use him again and would also recommend him to others.

I had a premature roof problem with my new home. Therefore, I called the Building Inspector of America. The owner, Vilmal Kapoor came out because he heard of my unusual dilemma. He was very caring, genuine, and empathetic to my very stressful situation. He took plenty of pictures of my roof, which was sufficient evidence of latent defects in the roofing shingles. This will help when I submit this to the builder. He then inspected my entire house. For the whole house, he provided a VERY in depth report. It included color pictures, a rating scale (Wow!), and helpful suggestions. The pictures were used to show the inadequate parts of my home. On them, he circled specific details and provided detailed instruction on how to correct problems. I can't say enough good things about this home inspector or his company. Everyone, EVERYONE must use him. It was worth every penny.

This company did a home inspection on a house we were in the process of buying. Carol was pleasant to speak with on the phone arranging the inspection. Charlie, the inspector, was AMAZING! We followed him through the house and he pointed out everything about it. Things that currently are a problem, could become a problem, and also things that were done well. He took the time to explain ways to remedy the issues and also gave us a lot of good information about maintaining the home. We asked him many questions and found the experience to be very educational. The report he sent us was very detailed. I can't stress enough how impressed we were with his thoroughness. We would definitely use him again in the future.

dMr. Kapoor came to inspect the house at a scheduled time and performed the inspections. He did find several items that needed attention and we requested that the owner fix all that was identified. It has been about 10 months since we moved into the house and we have not found anything that the home inspections should have found and did not. So overall we are happy with the outcome. We had used Mr. Kapoor for another home inspection before but that house had many issues and Mr. Kapoor did miss some of those, we walked away from that house. I suppose the reason why Mr. Kapoor missed some of those issues may have to do with him allocating a fixed amount of time to each inspection and if he is running out of time, he speeds up the process.

I've been thinking about selling my house (after 15 years) and wanted an unbiased opinion. Specifically, some concerns had been raised about the foundation. Mr. Kapoor went everywhere, explained to me what he saw, told me what was good and bad, and took pictures which turned out to be clear and easy to understand in a way that I can show to repair persons. I felt immensely relieved and glad I had done this. He sent me a report the very next day with jobs and needs prioritized and suggestions for each. Everyone who has seen the report has been overawed, and I am very satisfied and not just because the foundation was okay!

During the inspection, he went the extra mile in explaining his observations, happily answered every question we had, and made sure we had clear understanding of all issues. i am a home builder but the inspector found things I would not have thought of. He looked in the vanities,crawl spaces, behind appliances and even went out on the roof. He took the cover off the main electrical panel and found corrosion. He knew the date of manufacture of the furnace ,hot water heater and appliances by their serial #s. He took notes at all times on a laptop computer. He also brought along a skilled assistant who helped with the inspection and made it possible to carry ladders. When he finished,he provided me with a very complete report with detailed photographs of areas of concern.This report was extremely useful in negotiating the purchase price. Mr. Kapoor provided an arms length skilled opinion to make the seller aware of the reality of the conditions. Carol in the office was very helpful in setting up the schedule. I can highly recommend this company.

One person came out to do the inspection and we found him to be knowledgeable. He spent around 4 hours going through various aspects and explained different issues to me and gave me a report.

Mr. Kapoor and Carol were both a pleasure; both were professional and quick to respond via email or phone. Mr. Kapoor bases his pricing on cost of your home, as do most home inspectors. I was able to schedule an appointment during the week within 2 days. CHARLIE is absolutely wonderful- he is attentive to detail, thorough, and patient. I can tell he's a hard worker! Our home inspection took about 4.5 hours and it was a great educational experience! (It would be helpful to budget adequate time for yourself and your agent. (I think ours was getting fussy about the time, but Charlie was good at ignoring her. I did not want us to rush anything since our home is a huge purchase for us.) Potential problems were pointed out, nooks and crannies were examined. The build, structure, and stability of the deck were pointed out. Charlie had a camera and binoculars that he used during the inspection. I stayed alongside him to take notes while he took his own. The home was overall in pretty good condition, but I appreciated the thoroughness of Charlie's inspection because it will help us maintain it in the future. We are not handy people and Charlie was able to point out things that we could do ourselves or hire a handyman to fix. Unfortunately, my fiancé could not accompany us on the home inspection, but Charlie's 40 page report was thorough enough that my fiancé felt as comfortable with the inspection as I did. The report is color coded with pictures that are marked with arrows. We were easily able to use the report for our decision making since Charlie marked the main concerns in red. We have all of Charlie's contact information and he is easily accessible. We will definitely get in touch with this vendor again, if needed, in the future!

Charles (our inspector) was very professional and took his time making sure everything possible was inspected. As first time home buyers we had a lot of questions and concerns and he answered each one with a thorough and calm explanation. We found his estimates to be accurate and really helped us make the decision to purchase our home.

Charlie is a great inspector! He spent 5 hours looking over the property. He was very thorough and gave us a clear understanding about what defects we should focus on and which defects weren't as important. He also gave some concrete ideas about how one could remedy the defects and what kind of service provider to call to get an estimate for that issue. We learned so much from the inspection and feel a lot more comfortable buying a home. Setting up the appointment was easy; the inspector was punctual.

Charlie did a very through and detailed inspection of a house I was potentially going to buy. He pointed out water damages and structural defects with the deck. He was very knowledgeable on all aspects of home construction and proper maintenance. First class job and I'd recommend this company to everybody.

The home inspection was done by Charles Holpuch. He did an inspection of all three floors (including the basement) and 3 bedrooms and the bathroom Did a great job with a home inspection, took his time and did not rush through anything. Generated a detailed report and got it to me in a timely manner. He gave me an expectancy of how long the appliances are expected to last, what my upcoming costs would be and what I needed to watch out for. I would do business with them again and have Charles come out for a home inspection.

I used their home inspection service before and I was very satisfied. So, This time, I called them again without any hesitation. The scheduling is very easy. Ms. Carol Toeller (Operations Manager) was very pleasant to work with. In one short phone call, she scheduled the inspection quickly and sent all details about the inspection in an email to me. The price was very reasonable. On the day of inspection, Mr. Charles Holpuch (Senior Inspector) arrived earlier. He first explained his plan/procedure to me. And asked me to let him know whenever I have any questions. During the inspection, he explained everything he found and how the different household systems worked, answered all my questions/concerns, and provide many valuable comments/suggestions. I found the experience beneficial and educational. The inspection is very thorough, the whole process took more than 4 hours, longer than I expected. I received the report timely, as promised. The report is near 50 pages long, with a lot of pictures, tables, and color coded issue lists. It contains all the issues about the house, big or small. It will be very useful for the repair/remodeling I planned in the near future. Also, in the follow-up email Charles told me "Please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions you may have." I feel Charles is very professional. He is polite, friendly, and very considerate. He did an absolutely amazing job. I trust him 100%. From start to finish, Vimal was professional, courteous and extremely thorough. When we first contacted him, he explained in detail how he works and sent us contact names for referrals. On the day of the inspection, he arrived early and spent more than four hours on the inspection. We started on the outside, then went through the entire home slowly and carefully. His final report was extremely detailed, with photos of everything that raised concern. He marked each photo with red arrows and provided a detailed explanation of all marginal and non-functional items. We were buying an older home, and he pointed many necessary repairs involving roof, chimney, exterior brick, drainage, grading, HVAC. We were able to negotiate aggressively with the seller based on the report. We will do some of the repairs ourselves, and the report will be extremely helpful to show a contractor since it provides so much detail and illustrates the problems so well with photos. Vimal also graciously accommodated our realtor's request to finish the report in less than 24 hours. We highly recommend Vimal and will definitely call him the next time we move!

Mr. Kapoor came out and performed an excellent inspection. He was on the property for over four hours and started at the top of the fireplace and worked his way down to the foundation. His expertise, professionalism and humor were greatly appreciated during the process. The report was the most i depth I have seen having bought two houses and sold one. I highly recommend him to anyone who wants to purchase a property with a comfort that what can be identified will be.

Very good service in terms of quality and professionalism. The inspector was there on time and performed a thorough inspection (complete with regard to detail, definitely not superficial). He also performed the radon test, which required him to come back a couple of days later. The report was complete, very well written and submitted on time.

True to his name Vimal (impeccable or pristine in Sanskrit), Mr.Kapoor does an impeccable job. He is a professional with a personal touch (a rare find these days!). Scheduling the inspection with his assistant, Carol, was a piece of cake. She is another amazingly helpful person (as they say birdsof same feather flock together). On the inspection day, Mr. Kapoor was dot on time. During the inspection, that lasted almost 4 hours, he meticulously went through every nook and corner of the house. He not only identified the problems in the house but also their causes. He also gave suggestions on overcoming them. His report helped me negotiate the price of the house down by $10K. During home price negotiations, in spite of his busy schedule, he returned the selleragent?s call and argued in my favor to bring the price down. This was way beyond the call of duty and definitely more than what I had paid for. After the purchase of the house, when I called to thank him, he gave me suggestions on how I should get ?sensitized? to the house before emptying out my wallet on unnecessary work. The discussion with him helped prioritize the necessary work and keep the cost of repair to the minimum.
