Fantastic. Inspector was super knowledgeable and very thorough and patient!

Mr Kapoor gave my house a very thorough inspection. He's extremely knowledgeable and is easy to talk to. The heart of the service is the inspection report. Mine is very useable- areas like the roof are classified as functional, marginal or non-functional. For marginal & non-functional areas, there's a description of the problem, with recommended repairs. Having a pre-sale inspection gives me time to fix the repairs without time pressure, so I can find the best contractor at the best price. The inspection report will be my road map to getting my home ready for sale.

Mr. Kapoor could not have been more wonderful. He was focused, detail-oriented, educated us throughout his inspection process, and was very personable as well. My husband and I were highly impressed and would definitely rely on his expertise again if we need any future home inspections or similar services.

Excellent! Very professional and personable staff. They provide us with enough information in advance to clearly understand what we could expect. There were details about their inspection process and an example inspection report. The report is structured in a way that makes it easy to read and interpret where the deficiencies can be found in the home. Inspector Romano Pietrobono went above and beyond for the inspection. He checked literally every nook and cranny of the home. I've attended a few inspections in the past and never saw the level of care that Romano displayed. The bar is set very high after watching him work. I would highly recommend him and the great customer service from the company.

Our real estate agent recommended Prime Property Inspectors, namely Mr. Vimal Kapoor to us. He was an excellent choice. He arrived on time and worked very hard to inspect the house. He was extremely thorough, explained what he was doing and answered all our questions. He gave us expert recommendations for repairs and for maintenance of the house. This was an educational course for us, we learned a great deal about drainage, roofs, pipes, vents, etc. He took high quality pictures showing areas of concern and delivered a written report in due course. The report was very clear and detailed identifying problems that needed immediate attention. The inspection went very well! As a first time homebuyer, Charlie showed me many important issues to out to the builder, as well as giving many good tips for maintaining the house for a long time. He did a very thorough inspection of the house.

Very well, especially because of the superb photographs produced by the inspector. He used a Canon camera to produce solid evidence that the slate roof needs to be replaced immediately and identify lesser defects that will need attention. I had told my wife that the only justification for hiring this inspector for $495 was my inability to climb into the attic. I was wrong because the superb photos allowed use to quickly eliminate roofers who can't do what we want. Nine highly-rated roofers on Angie's List expressed interest in giving us an "estimate" for a new roof. But we want to first discuss WHAT they want to provide, not just the price. When we told them this and offered the photographs, we had only three takers. Those three are the roofers who are now scheduled to visit our home to present their ideas.

Charles Holpuch went the extra mile and he was very thorough. He will patiently explain and guide you. He is very knowledgeable. I would highly recommend him.

The inspection was excellent. Charlie Holpuch performed a detailed inspection of all of the major systems (electrical, HVAC, plumbing, exterior water drainage) and inspected the overall construction quality of our new home. He walked me through as he conducted the inspection and explained the specific details of each aspect of the inspection and why he was conducting the various aspects of the inspection. It was educational, to say the least, and very helpful afterward in discussing the items that needed to be resolved by the builder as we went to closing. He provided a detailed written report with photos that I was able to use in discussion with the builder. These guys were professionals.

Although a home inspection isn't always worth the investment on a new home purchase (typically a one year warranty is in place), it was certainly one of the best decisions we have made yet within the realm of home buying. Charles Holpuch was extremely thorough and most importantly, took the time to explain everything he was doing so we can learn all about our new home. We learned more about the operations of a home within those 4 hours than we ever knew! We was very patient and took the time to answer all of our questions. On top of that, he was very timely with the final report. He was able to submit it within 24 hours of the inspection. Romano showed up right on time. And within minutes had the ladder out to climb up on the roof. He walked through the entire process with me and was very patience and helpful in his explanations but also didn't talk down to me. I really appreciated that about him. I shared with him my concerns and he took care to pay special attention to those areas. He really went above and beyond, doing things like teaching me where joists needed sistering and how to bleed the radiators. The house is nearly 100 years old, built in 1917. Another great thing Romano did was that he explained to me the differences in how homes were built in that era in comparison today. This was super helpful. He also helped me set a priority list in terms of fixes. Thankfully, the things he pointed out are minor. He gave me a lot of confidence moving forward with the purchase.

Extremely professional and educational. The inspection could not have been more thorough and the subsequent report answered every conceivable question. I wish he had been the initial inspector; but he was superb and incredibly detailed. I'm a more knowledgable homeowner thanks to his time and explanations.

The inspector arrived early, and was helpful as we looked at the condition of our condo. He found several things I would have never seen, and raised questions for our building manager to answer. I'm very happy with the inspector's report.

From start to finish I was very pleased with THE BUILDING INSPECTOR OF AMERICA. I contacted Carol at their office who was very nice and was able to schedule my inspection during the first call. She was able to give me a time, date and a cost of the inspection and radon test while I was on the phone. She followed up with an email to confirm details. Days before the inspection Carol emailed again to confirm the appointment. I am very pleased with my interactions with the office staff. The home inspection went very well. Charlie was prompt and polite. He is very detailed. We discussed the process before we started. He told us a number of great resources, even telling us we can contact him when ever we have any questions in the future. The inspection was very through. We walked the perimeter of the house. Charlie pointed out possible problems in and outside of the house. Addressed a number of concerns he saw. He was very meticulous. He climbed in to the attic, and a very tiny crawl space to inspect as much of the house as he could. The whole inspection took about 4 hours. During the inspection Charlie answered all of our questions and even gave us a number of tips and ideas for making improvements to our future home. The inspection report was delivered within 24 hours. It was very detailed, and helped us negotiate a number of issued with the homeowners. I would hire Charlie and THE BUILDING INSPECTOR OF AMERICA any day.

Wow. Very professional. Charlie Holpuch was very knowledgeable, patient, and thorough. He explained everything that he did while answering all of my questions. His report included photos, diagrams, suggestions, and lists of mandatory vs. less important items. Two months later, he came back to help answer some more questions on his own time.
