+ -1 moreJust before a snowstorm I found that our house was getting colder and colder. Since I don't know anything about boilers, I called Frank to find out what I should do. He walked me through a couple of steps to figure out basically what was wrong with the boiler and told me I needed a new pump. He said he'd be able to come by the following day. When he got here, we realized that not only was the pump bad, but several of the valves needed to be replaced, which he did quickly and without making a huge mess. He was then able to bleed the system down to get the air out and get it back up and running in less than two hours. We were still struggling, trying to figure out why the lower level still wasn't heating, and although we all had to leave, he came back later, figured it out and fixed it quickly and didn't charge us extra.
Description of Work: He figured out specifically what was wrong with our boiler, was able to come in a timely fashion because we had no heat and six kids and three pets. I was rushed on a Saturday morning, and I had appointments to get to, and he was able to show up and figure out what was wrong with it and fix it. He also had an appointment to visit a dying family member at a hospital 45 minutes away, but was able to come back later to check and make sure it was operating correctly. At that time, he found yet another problem, but was able to sort that out quickly and didn't charge us extra.
