Mr. Kemp conducted the home inspection. He took the time to understand our primary concerns. He ensured that all critical areas were addressed. He asked questions as needed and focused on key areas. He was very professional and very friendly. He answered our questions and provided extra information when we showed areas of concern. He provided additional guidance on our post-inspection questions. We are pleased with the work provided. We would definitely recommend him to our friends.

I arrived about 10 minutes early to find Greg was already there. Greg knew right away what the problem was and proceeded to tell me the details of how the crack formed, what effects it would have, and how to fix it. Overall, I was very hapy with the level of service he provided.

We had a different company conduct a prepurchase inspection but we wanted to better understand the structura qualities of the home and foundation due to some cracks along the tiled floor. Greg was prompt, provided his expertise and reassured us that it was due to settling. He also gave us additonal insight and some tips to address drainage issues.

Greg did an excellent job on our inspection. Inspected our house in about 3 hours and provided detail information throughout the walk through. I was with him every step of the process and he talked me through everything that he was doing. Learned a lot about my new house. Also, was very prompted when I had follow up questions about the report after the inspection.

It went well. Greg showed up on time and he took me through my house room by room. I pointed out cracks in the drywall and my major concern was large cracks in the concrete in the basement floor. I understand a house settles but my house is less than 5 yrs old and I thought these cracks were too large to be overlooked. I've had other companies out and they were there for 20-25 mins and only looked in the basement. Greg went through every room in my house, every wall of the basement, the exterior of the house and even looked over the water drainage of my yard. He educated me on what was going on in the house an what to see and look for in the future

I would highly recommend Greg for home inspection services. He recently did a pre-sale inspection of a home we are planning to purchase. He was extremely thorough, and promptly provided a very clear report that outlined all of his findings. Additionally, he talked with us as we walked around the house, and was very willing to discuss what we needed to expect for routine maintenance. Greg also seems to really enjoy what he does, which shows in the amount of time and thought he puts into the inspection process. We really enjoyed working with Greg! Greg did an outstanding job during our inspection. He was very detailed and thorough. He noted several issues that needed to be immediately addressed. As the roof seemed to be an area of concern, he was able to get on the roof (which as I understand not many home inspectors do) for a closer inspection and provided a definite answer that it needed to be replaced supported by photos of the damaged areas. We were greatly satisfied with Greg's work and his detailed report as was our realtor who has been around for a long time.

Great - We had a home inspection which indicated possible structural and water issues that would be very expensive to repair. Greg came out to do a follow-up inspection/second opinion and helped us determine what needed to be done. He gave several more cost effective recommendations to prevent water issues in the future, but more importantly determined that the initial evaluation was inaccurate. He took the time to explain what was going on with the foundation in a way that we could understand and provided a report documenting his findings the next day.

We would highly recommend Greg Kemp for any home inspections. His background in engineering proved to be extremely useful during our inspection. He was very easy to work with, provided a wonderful inspection report chalk full of pictures, and relayed a wealth of information during the inspection. The inspection was not rushed at all and was very detail oriented. We would use Greg Kemp again for any home inspection.

We were buying a house and during the routine home inspection, we found cracks in the brick veneer and water damage to some subfloor sections. This required an additional review from a strcutural engineer and I found Kemp Home Inspections through my realtor. Greg Kemp is a PE (Professional Engineer) who also does home inspections. Greg was early to his appointment, professional and courteous. He inspected the areas of concern, did the moisture readings etc. The inspection took a couple of hours. He explained the structural significance (or lack thereof) of the water damage and cracks in the veneer and provided us a written report within 12h. The report was well written and easily understandable. I wish had used him for my full home inspection. I would have saved some time and learned some more during the process. Lesson learned, I guess.

I thought he was excellent. I would give him an A+. He responds to emails quickly. He was very flexible with the scheduling. He showed up on time. He was very thorough with the report and submitted it within 24 hours. He answered all the questions to the best of his knowledge.
