Truthfully, I'd give 3 1/2 or 4 stars, but the work was done back in March 2020, just before major restrictions due to Covid-19 pandemic were enacted. POSITIVES: Provided printed materials for resources; offered reduced rate (if I remember) if I referred a friend to her; had/has a blog about decluttering (I chose to unsubscribe, but some people are into that). I commend her entrepreneurial spirit in offering virtual help during the pandemic shut down. I don't think that would've help me very much, personally, but it could be due to a generational difference (OK, I'm 60+ years old, and yes, it makes a difference). NEGATIVES (?): Organizer helped me clear out a storage section of my basement, only to distribute piles and boxes around the living area of basement for easy identification (donations to schools, Salv. Army or such, office organizers, etc.); unfortunately, three to five days later, all those places were shut down and no longer accepted donations. It's only been since April or May 2021 that I've been able to start clearing out some of those sections.

This frankly came as a bit of a surprise, given that you had thanked me for my “tremendous help” in an email several days later. While the shutdown did indeed throw a wrench into everyone’s plans and obviously delayed you from following through on the distribution of donations like we had discussed, I’m still unclear how the unfortunate timing of our session warrants lowering the rating you would have given me. I took with me and distributed some donations per your request, but you declined my offer to take more. I’m not sure what I could have done differently to avoid this outcome, short of preventing a global pandemic."

Valerie Sherman, the owner, is a wonderful professional organizer.  I have been working with her for almost 3 years. In that time, my house looks completely different from the way it did before I met her.  My living room and office room space is totally reorganized to an ultimately efficient manner.

For example,  I am a ballroom dance instructor and originally was using my basement to conduct lessons.  After the death of my parents, I accumulated a great deal of their property.  In addition, six years ago, I retired from my Fed Govt employment, thus I brought a lot of my office momentos home. Combined with my own collection of various items including stacks and piles of audio/visual material, my basement became a total mess. Needless to say, I had to curtail offering dance lessons from my home.  As a result of Valerie's assistance, I now have sufficient space in my living room to resume my dance lessons.  My office/budget space is totally effective for doing all of my personal affairs.  The basement is coming along greatly and I expect that it will be vastly cleared for space within the next 6-12 mos. 

I highly recommend Easy Peasy Living for all your organizing needs.  Valerie gives what I feel is expert advice and refers you to a wide variety of options to help you dispose of any no longer needed items.  Also the cost is affordable.

Their service was excellent. She is very good and practical. I was very, very pleased with her. Her price was reasonable. I worked with her for a few months during the moving process. She was easy to work with and I liked how she thinks and works. Nothing was stressful about it and she was able to guide me in the right direction.
