Booked this contractor through my home warranty company. Original time was scheduled between 3-4 yesterday. After many calls (and lack of call-backs) there was still no technician on site at 6pm. I understand that this is a busy time for AC repair and that service calls can get backed up. However, If I had not called multiple times, I would not have known what was happening. I did not appreciate the lack of follow-through and misinformation I was given.

I heard of ATC from a family member and when my air conditioning stopped working in August 2011, I did my due diligence and researched a number of different units and companies. ATC provided me with a brand new AC/Heating system in 2011 at a cost of 25-35% lower than their competitors for the same or like product. I was impress by how thorough they were and how much time they spent on making sure the system was installed correctly and worked efficiently. When I had questions, they were more than willing to take the time and answer in terms that I could understand. They took the time to explain the new thermostat and its features. I received a follow up call to make sure I was happy with the equipment's performance. When they were completed, they cleaned up any mess from the installation. This January, they performed general cleaning maintenance and uncovered that the drain line was clogged.. This, in itself, could have cost me a substantial amount of money in damages if remained unchanged. They rescheduled to have the AC system blown out and the drain line unclogged. Again, very professional, responsive and clean. I've enjoyed my relationship with ATC and will continue to heed their advice and continue using their services for the upcoming years.

ATC Heating and Cooling Inc sold me a complete HVAC with a 5 year warranty to include parts and labor. This contract also included free maintenance twice per year for two years. I thought I was getting a great deal but after the install I was unable to get ATC to perform the maintenance. Whenever I tried to get service, they were a no show on 4 separate occasions. My unit froze up on me and after several phone calls I was finally able to get someone to look at my unit. They tried to charge me for the service call. I reminded them of our service contract and the 5 year warranty, but they lamented about how they lost money on the deal and tried to charge me for the call anyhow. It turns out I needed a new air flow vent, but they refused to install. I kept calling and the owner even went so far as to answer the phone using a different name. I recognized his voice and called him out, and he said; oh, this is Chris, I thought you were someone else I'm trying to avoid. After a lengthy discussion with Chris in regards to our 5 year warranty, he became frustrated that I actually expected him to honor the warranty and service contract. He even went so far as to threaten me, and said he would be at my place to follow up on that threat. Luckily, no one showed up for this service call either. The bottom line is this company will promise you everything but not deliver on anything. I do not think they have enough capitol to actually honor any service contracts agreement. This is one of the worst experiences I've had dealing with any service company.

Gentleman was extremely thorough and impressive both me and my wife. He was very meticulous to make sure everything is in order. I will definitely use them for all of my HVAC needs.

They are very good. They are due for the service this or next month. I can choose my own company to inspect my H/AC unit. I have nothing; but good things to say. They are very professional and very courteous. They are in and out very quickly. Unless the other company that I use, they don't try to push to do work on something, which doesn't needs repairing. Their rates are the more reasonable than any other company I have in contact with. Their price is great. My machine still runs; so their quality is good. They are prompt and it does not take more than 2 days to have them come out. They are usually on time.

My home warranty company dispatched ATC Heating & Cooling to unclog the drainage pipes in my house and I couldn't be happier that they did. Chris, the owner, and his plumber's helper came out to my recently-purchased house on a Sunday to clear the clog. The clogs were terrible and it seemed that each time they cleared one, they found another one just beyond it. They worked for hours to make sure that the lines were clear and we wouldn't have the same problem anytime soon. While they were working on the pipes, Chris looked at my recently-replaced water heater and asked when that work had been done. I explained that it had been done about 2 weeks before--the week we moved in--and the work had been done by a different company dispatched by the home warranty company. Chris then took me through a very detailed explanation of how the water heater works and why the job done by the previous company was not only up-to-code, it was downright dangerous. The previous company had "rigged" the ventilation pipe in such a way that what was supposed to be vented out of the house was just coming back into the basement. After talking this over with the home warranty company, they said that I had to deal with it on my own. When I tried, they were dismissive and told me that the job was done up to code and they had nothing to fix. My next call was to Chris at ATC. I told him that I wanted to hire him to fix the problems. Instead of taking that job, Chris made a phone call to the other plumbing company on my behalf. He spoke directly to the owner of the other company, explained all the ways that the job was not up to code, and demanded that they come out and fix it. After Chris made that phone call, the first company sent a second crew to my home, fixed all of the problems, and apologized profusely...none of which would have happened if Chris from ATC hadn't made that call for me. That integrity and commitment to doing things right is why I'll never use another plumber.
