Arrived when expected and provided excellent service with good cleanup. Pleased with results and would use again and recommend to anyone.

I contacted R. Georges Paving to seal my asphalt driveway and repair some cracks. I called him and he returned my call promptly and came out to assess the driveway. He finished the job within two days of my call and was careful to keep the sealant away from the garage doors and other areas. He first edged the driveway and cleaned off the surfaces. Then he applied sand to the cracks which he swept into the cracks. He then carefully sprayed the sealant on the entire driveway. Ritchie was careful and respectful to not get the sealant on any areas other than the driveway. He was pleasant to work with and was quick to respond to my phone call for estimate and then the applying the complete sealant coat on the driveway after I gave him approval to complete the job. I would use him again in the future.

Richie did a great job. I had to go into work before the job was done, so he came back later that night to show me everything they did and explain how to properly upkeep. Would use again.

He came early to do the job. He called to see if I was home and said he was in the area and could he come by and do the work. He was very professional and the drive way looked great!

Mr. George was very prompt in responding to my request for an estimate. The work was quickly scheduled and performed. The driveway looks great and the price was very reasonable. Also, the work area was left spotless. Mr. George supervised every aspect of the paving operation.

All went very well. We had to have a small flat area installed for movable basketball court and asked at the last minute if they could do this. They did and were not able to get the area as flat as they could so he didnt charge us for it. The curb looks wonderful and the whole job was done in just a few hours.

The owner responded promptly to my inquiry, came and looked at the job, thoroughly explained the work, and provided a detailed estimate which was very competitively priced. He also had an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau in addition to good reviews here. The quality of work was outstanding and the customer service was exemplary. Communication was routine leading to, during, and immediately following the job. I believe the owner takes great pride in his work and strives to make sure that every customer is satisfied with every aspect of the job. After consulting with him and confirming it with a little research, I had him seal the job after it cured with a high quality asphalt sealer. I trust that with his attention and service over the next few years, my driveway will be in good hands and should look good and last for many years to come.

He was very detailed oriented and sprayed close to the ground, unlike others who spray from the truck. he took his time and made sure every area was well saturated. Our driveway was neglected and dry. it looks terrific! we will definitely call him back for all our driveway needs.

I called the owner and received estimate the same day. He showed my husband and I driveways he worked on the neighborhood. Our driveway was repaved 2 days later. Great results - the driveway looks great - received positive comments from neighbors. Would definitely use company for future work.

Rich came out promptly for the estimate and left the proposal in my mailbox. He followed up by phone, and after we decided to go with this company, he put us on their schedule for the next week, weather permitting. He communicated by phone as to when they would begin the job. They came on the day specified and completed the job in less than a day. The driveway looks great - it turned out better than expected. They were very neat - no asphalt streaks on the sidewalk. They put up yellow caution tape so no one would drive on the driveway while it was drying. After the job was done, he told me I would need to have the driveway sealed in 30 days. I wish that service could have been included in this price. Anyhow, I would definitely recommend this company to anyone needing asphalt work. Not only was the work quality excellent, he was very professional and courteous throughout.

I phoned Mr. George on 08/08/13, and asked him to give me a quote for my driveway that had separated from the garage and had many long cracks with grass growing through some. It hadn't been sealed for many years. He came by the next day to seal my next-door neighbors' driveway that he had installed last year. I had noticed last year that their driveway appeared more durable and beautiful than any other driveway I had seen. On my door that day he left his estimate. He called later on 08/09/13 and said if I wanted him to resurface my driveway, I should sign the estimate and leave it outside on the day of the work. I told him I had chosen him to do the job, and he told me that he could do it Monday or Tuesday (August 12 and 13). On Sunday, August 11, he called and said he could do the job the next day (Monday) between 8:00 am and 12:00 noon. They arrived the next day slightly after 8:00 am with all their equipment and began to break up my driveway while Mr. George bought the asphalt. They were finished around noon. They had cleaned up all the debris, and the driveway looked beautiful. Mr. George explained to me that I should avoid driving on my driveway until Wednesday (08/14/13) afternoon and not turn my wheels in one spot for the next month. He also said not to puncture it with sharp objects such as a bicycle kickstand. He then answered my question about the depth of asphalt and told me it ranged from 1" to 3" depending on the need. He said the driveway would not need to be resurfaced for 10 - 12 years.

Fantastic experience from beginning to end. Rich was immediately responsive and had an estimate within a day of contact, and was super on communication throughout: from answering questions about the paving project to keeping us informed of timetable as a little rain did enter into the forecast around our paving day which required a schedule adjustment. Does anyone want to get a new driveway shortly after moving into a new house? No. Are these the guys though that you want to do it? Absolutely. On paving day, Rich and his crew were early and set about working most efficiently and effectively. We had planned for an all-day session, but the guys worked super quickly and had everything done by mid-day. The end result is a fantastic looking driveway - apparently this driveway has only been paved once in its nearly 40 years (so it was definitely showing signs of age). Rich and his crew have truly breathed new life into it. On price, R Georges was super-competitive. Rich had a project going on nearby that helped keep our cost down. On service, professionality, and friendliness - can't be beaten. And the results speak for themselves - where we had the laughingstock driveway of the street, we now have the Cadillac of the neighborhood. We are looking forward to having Rich back before fall starts to sealcoat. I highly recommend, and I look forward to working with Rich and crew in the years to come.

He did a great job. He was very honest. He as there when he was supposed to be. Whenever I told him it was a little streaky he came back with any hesitation. I was very pleased with the work and would strongly recommend him to anyone.

I had a great experience with Rich from R. Georges. He came out to my home to give me an estimate within hours of me calling him. Now a week later the job is already done. He and his workers are very respectful, clean and organized. They ended up even doing a little more than we originally planned for just to make the job look better. When he showed me the extra work he did he didn't ask for any extra money. Rich is an honest, hard working man and I would absolutely refer him to my friends and family and should I ever need another paving job, there is no question I'd call him again.

Rich did a fine job resealing my driveway, was very nice, and I have no complaints at all. I will definitely call on him again. I had never met him before and got his contact information from Angie's List. Glad I belong to Angie's List and glad I found him. I live on Morningwood Drive in Olney.

Mr. George responded to my initial inquiry within one day, and the next day, he visited the site and gave me an estimate, which I considered fair and appropriate to the job. He and his crew arrived at the site at 9:10 a.m. on Tuesday, July 9, 2013, which was when he was expected. Mr. George and his men worked for just under two hours, and did an outstanding job. I will hire him again.

THE CONTRACTOR SHOWED UP ON TIME, DID THE JOB AGREED ON IN A PROFESSIONAL MANNER, CLEANED UP AND LEFT. HE HAD ALL THE RIGHT EQUIPMENT FOR THE JOB AND HIS WORKERS WERE ALL VERY PROFESSIONAL.

Mr. R. George. was very professional. His estimate actually was $2000 less than another estimate and I can not imaging the other company to do any better. Everytime I phoned Mr. George, he responded immediately, as I had schedulaing problems and needed to reschedule. Mr. George made sure that the entrance to the driveways were not higher than the grass next to it, so that I would not have a pooling problem as I had in the past. Now , during heavy rains, water flows easily off the grass into the street. I was out of town when the work was done, and Mr. George, did all that was expected and agreed upon. My drivelway looks wonderful.

In fairness to Mr. George, I must say that when he last spoke to me on July 27, 2013 he informed me that he had just gotten out of the hospital from surgery. Perhaps he was still taking pain medication or was generally in pain and therefore in a bad frame of mind and should not have initiated the call. Details: Last year (mid to late Summer 2012) Mr. R. George (RGeorge Paving) accepted a job from me to patch an area of my driveway left open after a septic repair (turned out the septic tank was under the driveway). The patch was open dirt fill around a manhole access, approximately 10'x6' with saw cut edges. Mr. George told me he would compact the fill and use hot mix and a heavy roller to permanently repair the patch. He offered to do the job for $400.00 saying he needed the work and was discounting the price by about 50%. He completed the work in a timely fashion but at a time when I was in the hospital so no one saw the actual work completed. He was quite charming and offered to seal the driveway also at a 50% discount which I accepted. The patch job looked good for about 2 months then the edges began to separate and at 3 to 3+ months the asphalt began to sink in holes primarily around the edges. As Mr. George was very clear to me that his work was guaranteed, I called him. He came out and re-evaluated the problems in late fall 2012. He told me he would put in a few patches but that he wanted to let the whole thing settle over the winter so he could see exactly what was happening under the asphalt. He returned later (next day) and put in about 2-4 20 lb. bags of cold mix to fill the holes and depressions hand tamping the mix. Before he left, he assured me this was a temporary fix and that he would be back in the Spring to re-evalute and do a permanent fix. He said I didn't need to contact him, he knew what he had to do. Spring 2013 became summer 2013, and Mr. George had not returned. I contacted him via email on June 26, 2013 (see below). He contacted me by phone the following day. He was very rude and used the f-bomb on me at least once during the conversation. He denied that his work was guaranteed. He denied that he said he would come back on his own and fix the job permanently. He told me not less than 6 times that he was going to hang-up on me and further that he was done with me and my bad attitude. He then emailed me twice immediately after the phone conversation. The patch you promised to come back and fix permanently (right) in the spring is worse than ever. Now I fear it will take considerable work, more than was done last year, to make it right. We never received the quote so after four weeks, we called the office on Monday, June 17, 2013 and left a message to say we never received the quote. Today is Monday, June 24, 2013--one week later--and we have yet to receive it or hear from R. George's. We had previously used R. George's to pave our driveway five plus years ago and they did a good job. However, when we called them a year later to seal coat our driveway, they never responded.

Richie [R. Georges]was the only one of the companies I called to respond. He was prompt, he gave me an estimate efficiently, explained what would be done and performed the work as promised when promised. It was a very professional job with an experienced crew. No surprises.

Rich was responsive and did great work. Rain delayed the project everytime we rescheduled, but that was out of his control.

He was the best. Mr. Georges was on time both his estimate and the day of the work. There was a rain delay, and he kept me informed of every single change in the schedule. The work was done very well and it looks great. I couldn't be more pleased in my dealings with Mr. Georges.
