Went well: good communication, Richie George himself was the major worker with 2 helpers and his truck; he explained what he was going to do, how to take care of it until completely dry + future maintenance.

Richie came with a crew on the scheduled day. He and his workers removed parts of the driveway, then repaved the entire driveway. Richie was personally supervising and helping his workers. He was meticulous. The result was quite impressive.

Very satisfied with the work effort of Richie George and his team. Richie came by within 1 day of my initial contact to provide a written quote and to explain the work that would be performed. A week later when we agreed to his quote, he returned my phone call within the hour, and followed up with a schedule. He and his team arrived on time, and paved our driveway as described. The work was outstanding, and Richie George is a true pro. Highly recommend.

It went very well and it was a fast job

This will be the third time in four years I have used Mr. George's company. He has been very professional and did a great job each time. Alsways did what he said and I thought the price was fair - I'm not about to seal coat a 115 foot driveway myself (ugh). The quality of the materials and work has been very good. I plan to use him in the future.

We contacted Rich of R. George's Paving after reading the countless positive reviews he has received here on Angie's list. We needed to widen and resurface our old and broken asphalt driveway, and contour the slop so that water shedding from the driveway toward our home would be diverted to drainage areas already established at the perimeters. We had been struggling with a vexing water shedding issue that would leave a small lake of water covering the sidewalk to our front door, which would take several days to drain away. Rich was prompt in responding to my inquiry, walked me though what he could do to address our driveway concerns and then showed up promptly on the scheduled day and completed the work as proposed. That was eight months ago. The driveway looks wonderful, but more importantly, after several significant snowfalls and rainstorms I am happy to report that Rich accomplished exactly what he promised -- he provided just the right slop so that all that water sheds away from our home! We are exceedingly happy with the work he did and have no reservations in recommending him to any future clients. He is a courteous and conscientious professional whose good work speaks for itself.

I had 3 estimates of $2800-$2840 for asphalt surfacing of my driveway.2 of the written estimates mentioning in writing of removing 10-20 SQF section of asphalt near the garage door for drainage purposes and filling it with asphalt. R.Georgee Estimate were all talks and verbally promising digging 10-15 SQF of asphalt near garage door . Since He left the estimate without writing the removal of asphalt ,I made a note to his estimate for digging as he promised verbally and mailed it to him as he wanted. I called him few days later ,confirming an agreement with my written note to do the job. The day he showed up for work ,20 minutes later knocked on my door telling me the asphalt is too thick to remove so he will dig only 6-7 SQF . When I came out I noticed he did not continue the digging as he said. I Told him why not doing the job what he promised to do, he started to yell asking $10000 if he wants 10-20 SQF digging. I told him the other 2 estimates have the the digging with their proposals. He started yelling ,cursing and using F words ,saying he does not care what other do, cause he knows they won't do them . R. George sill screaming and insulting by calling me Foreign *******. He left the job by leaving 3 SQF pot holes in my driveway. This man is a racist and mentally ill. I had tried to calm him down ,but kept insulting and yelling, then apologize and again insulting and screaming. His 2 other employees were noticeably disgusted with him. I wonder if he took his blue ,yellow , green pills before coming over to do his job. Funny thing he accused me of making a note to his estimate for digging the asphalt, but raise no objection to it and still came over to do the job. T strongly advise people to avoid him for any job.

Excellent work. Rich was professional, timely in his communications, and a pleasure to work with. The job was well priced, well done, and Rich honored the Angie's List coupon for a free sealcoating. This was a very positive experience and I would recommend Rich to others.

Mr. George was professional and timely, and the work was done in accordance with the agreement. Despite the constant inclement weather, Mr. George stayed in touch with me to provide me with updates and expectations. He gave us ample notice of his arrival and the work was done in timely manner and the site cleaned up before his team left. We would highly recommend Mr. George and his company.

It went very well. Richie and his team were prompt, professional and did a thorough job. They scheduled and arrived as promised, worked for the amount of time as promised and left a first class job done. There were areas than needed to be dug out before being repaved and that was done seamlessly. I interviewed several paving companies and R Georges was by far the most specific and priced fairly. The range of proposal costs and work to be done was surprising and R Georges was the best combination. Could not recommend anyone more highly, never a sign of the infamous "Potomac Premium" I have come to loathe

The driveway looks terrific. Richie came when he said he would and he and his workers did an outstanding job. Our driveway had been deteriorating over the last couple of winters and I knew it wouldn't make it through another one. After the job was done he explained what we needed to do to keep it in the best possible shape. Good information that will help keep our driveway in top form for years to come.

I could not have been more pleased with the entire job. everything went perfectly. He came when he said he would, he gave me a a fair price and was there to do the job when he said he would be. I contacted Richie in December 2015. He was in Maryland but said he's be in South Florida after the holidays and would call me then. He did call and I gave him my address to give me an estimate to do a layer of asphalt and sealant. It was $300 for a 2000 sq ft driveway. I had had it done for as low as $250 and as high as $350 in previous years but didn't like the people who did it. So I liked Richie and his professionalism and he told me he would call me on a day that was clear. We didn't have a clear day for awhile but as soon as there was one in the forecast, he called me and we set the time and date. He arrived on time and did an excellent job. I recommend Richie and R. George Paving to anyone and I will call on him in the future.

R. George's Paving operates in Maryland and South Florida. I contacted Rich George right before Christmas and requested an estimate. He promptly called back and said he would be in Maryland until early January, but would provide an estimate as soon as he returned to South Florida. He promptly provided an estimate in early January, which included a very competitive price. He was very knowledgeable about his business and explained the differences between an excellent job and an average job. He brought all the heavy equipment needed to do a quality job. The work was completed on January 14th. His estimate included 1 1/2" of asphalt, but in many places he used more than twice that amount of asphalt. I plan to use R. George's Paving to seal the driveway later and would recommend the company to my neighbors.

I called twice a few days apart and left a message that I needed my driveway sealed. I never received a return call. This lack of professionalism seems to sadly be typical in South Florida.

Richie George and his crew did an excellent, professional job at a competitive price. He kept in touch by phone as we scheduled the work for a day that did not conflict with other activities around our house (a wedding, landscaping work, etc.). He and his crew then showed up promptly on the agreed day, explained what they would do, cleared the driveway of leaves and applied the sealcoat with precision, coating up to the edges with little or no spillover.

Rescheduled until the weather was good enough in order for the product to dry completely. Great job and a professional that knows what he is doing!

The job was accomplished very efficiently. It took a few minutes to blow leaves off the driveway and less than ten minutes to spray on the sealer. I feel like the quality of the job was good. Richie George was friendly and informative. I will likely use him again for this job next year.
