Description of Work: Our driveway was long overdue for resurfacing, especially near the garage where it had sunk and water was pooling. We had one estimate for $9,500, which amounted to tearing up our entire driveway. We decided to get a 2nd opinion. I decided to join Angie's list and noticed all of the recommendations for R Georges Paving. Those recommendations were on the mark. Rich gave an estimate that was less than half of the previous estimate and said we didn't need to tear up the driveway. He was very knowledgeable and told us exactly how he would address our concerns about pooling of water. He also said he would add a section that we knew was needed but he beat us to it. He didn't know about the previous estimate, but knew that others in the business would make those recommendations. He completed the job in half a day and the driveway looks great.

Description of Work: We had some asphalt removed and the remaining drive way patched and sealed. we had some issues with the sealer adhering and staying down, but Richie was very good about coming back and recoating the surface and redoing the patch that kept peeling up.

Description of Work: Our driveway was damaged by our landscaping company when they dragged a heavy dumpster over it. We needed to get a portion of it repaved, and I wanted to get the rest of it resealed. For some reason, they could not manage to get it repaired for months, so I decided to get it fixed myself. Based on the reviews here, I called Mr. George on Monday morning and left a message. Got a call back in a half hour. He came out and gave an estimate later that day. His pricing was very good (my landscapers had got several estimates, so I had a great basis for comparison). He also was very clear about things, discussed the pros and cons of different options, and was easy to deal with. He was able to come out right away. We had too much rain for a couple days, which he warned me might be an issue, and he called each morning to let me know about the rain delay. On the first clear day, which was Thursday of the same week I first called, Mr. George and his crew were here. They did a great job - neat and precise and exactly as he promised. Would definitely use again and highly recommend him.

Description of Work: I called for an estimate and Mr. George came within 8 hrs, explained the work that needed to be done to repair my asphalt driveway, and gave a detailed quote. I eventually went with a different company because they gave an equivalent quote and could come the following day to do the work. My rating is based on my experience contacting him and obtaining the quote. In all these areas he was excellent, and if asked I would certainly list his company as one to contact for driveway repairs.

Description of Work: Re-asphalted a large prevously existing parking lot and driveways. Fixed difficult areas with total break-up of old parking lot in some areas, and alligatoring in others. Was much more willing than most companies to do the work on a late Saturday afternoon after our business closed. Asphalted right up to and around a house with sloping away from house to prevent basement leaks. Good quality asphalting. Good quality striping. Great attitude on part of owner. Cares about people and cares about keeping his word. Kept all promises. Job done on time when promised. Has big industrial equipment You are welcome to inspect their work at Wheaton Animal Hospital, 2929 Unversty Blvd. W., Kensington., MD I believe they also did the huge parking lot across the street at Sigma Financial Credit Union.
