They came out to do a quote, took all of the measurements, and told me they would get back to me that day or the next day. A few days later, he called to apologize and said they would have the quote to me by the end of the day, or early the next day. That was the last time I heard from them. I understand if a job isn't large enough for you (mine was probably in the $10k range), but I would appreciate the professionalism to at least contact me to let me know.

They did a good job. We have an issue with conflicting schedules, but we worked it out. The man that came out, Kent gave a thorough presentation. I will highly recommend and use them, again.

Ken came out to my house to review the project and take measurements. He said he would get back within a week. I never heard further from anyone at The Whiting Company.

Tim Whiting seems like a nice guy and the company was recommended by a roofer I used to fix a small piece of siding that came off my house at the peak by the roof. I had already had a very difficult time trying to get someone to fix it and when Tim agreed to do it I was relieved. He ended up telling me it would be 3-4 weeks before they could do it. The long delay concerned me since animals and elements could be getting in through the opening that was left but I thought I at least had someone to fix it. They said they were coming once then did not come. I then received a call a week later saying that a guy had come to do the job but it was too high so it would be a 2 man job therefore they could not do the job. Why didn't they just send another guy? I would have paid more. Why did they not bother to come look at the job in the many weeks I was waiting to see what resources it would take? I had sent pictures and they knew it was right at the peak and how tall my house was so why was it a surprise? I could have been trying to find someone else to do the work in that time span and now I have to start from square 1 and I continue to accumulate any damage that might be happening.

For a company that is supposedly in business for over 40 years and primarily does roofing, I was told the company does not work on flat roofs!!! All flat roof homeowners do not waste your time!

Work was done as discussed. No complaints. My only issue was invoice and warranty information was not provided without me asking.

Whiting worked with my insurance company and got them to pay a lot more than they initially offered, covering the whole job less my deductible. They showed on the day they scheduled and did a good job of clean-up. Kept un-budgeted expense under-roof surprises to $400 on a 60 year old home. I felt they were very honest.

I'd say the service was excellent. They came out, they gave us estimate. We got a really great shingles. It was really good. They stayed to their price. They cleaned up. It was a good deal. I would definitely use them again. They did it in one day. I would recommend them to other people. They were prompt and the workers were courteous. The product is excellent. The choices were excellent. A really great job and professional. Great price.

Everything went perfectly. Tim was very responsive and professional. His crew was fantastic as well.

The Whiting Company was the most responsive of the companies we contacted when we needed our roof to be replaced following a storm. Not only that, they were the cheapest AND offer 50 year-rated shingles! In addition, we had to delay the replacement twice due to 1) the insurance company inspector and 2) HOA approval; however, they were understanding and rescheduled accordingly. Additionally, they were able to come and tarp our roof, which we did not originally request, in order to comply with the insurance company's requirements. When we were finally able to complete the job, the team onsite did a fantastic job cleaning up, to the point you wouldn't even know they were there. Overall, we would hire them again and would strongly recommend them to others looking for roof repairs.

The Whiting Company promptly responded to my initial email requesting an estimate for replacement windows. The representative who visited my home was knowledgeable but not pushy and did not use ‘hard sell’ tactics. My windows were ready within the stated timeframe. The installation went well. The installers were professional, thorough and careful to clean the worksite both inside and outside. The installers also took time to answer questions.

We still need gutters and downspouts installed but they finished the roofing last week. They showed up early the day of the installation. I have heard most roofs can take two days. Not this company - as they showed up early. They were efficient and I monitored their progress most of the day. This company gets excellent reviews on most sites I could find such as Angie's List and after hiring them I can see the praise is well deserved. We will definitely call on them again when we need new siding.

The work was performed ahead of the initial date. The crew arrived on time and worked with professionalism and synergy. I was impressed with the speed, quality of workmanship, and the cleaning of the outdoor surroundings. The on-site project manager informed me about the work being done.

Salesman was professional and courteous, however, it appeared he made promises his boss was unable to keep. Contract signed by representative and myself stated work would be done by 25 Apr, unfortunately that was not the case. Called Tim Whiting, Thursday, 19 Apr, 1646, and left a voicemail asking for a return call, never received a call back. Called again, Friday afternoon, 1547, Mr. Whiting answered and indicated he had left me a message “a few days ago, trying to schedule me.” When I responded that I had no messages nor missed calls, Mr. Whiting changed the topic and said the soonest he could get me in was 1-4 May. All of this despite my contract saying work would be completed by 25 Apr. Mr. Whiting was condescending and unapologetic throughout. I am quite aware that last month’s windstorm caused an abundance of work for local contractors and I would have completely understood if he had simply indicated they were overbooked, but to attempt to place the blame on the customer due to a non-existent voicemail is infuriating. As for the work, the crew was professional, courteous and timely. They arrived, asked me to move my vehicle and promptly got to work. I was truly impressed with them and the final product, which makes my experience with ownership even more disappointing. Ultimately it is their loss, I intend to replace all of the doors in my home and was going to work with them, but that ship has sailed. Will also ensure all of my friends and co-workers are forewarned!

When I got the estimate, as an Angie's list member, I asked about the 20% off coupon. I was told that the estimate was already the best price, and the 20% off coupon would not be applied. The overall estimate was over $11000, so 20% off would have been a lot of money. If the coupon specified that it should be presented before the estimate, that would be one thing, since I didn't ask until after I got the estimate. But it doesn't. Bad way to do business.

They were excellent and explained things every step of the way. They cleaned up after the job was done and we would highly recommend them. We would definitely use them again.

Had my roof replaced sept 2017 and it's already leaking. I have made them aware I'm having to use a bucket to catch the water but they still haven't made it out to address Tia situation. After talking to the owner said they would be out within a week. Week has come and gone and only getting a run around

Workmen were very professional, courteous and tidy. Also quite attentive to all details of the job such as caulking and framing. We have a fairly large house and work was completed in just 2 days.Delighted with the look and quality.

The crew was very prompt and professional. They completed the entire job in one day staying later than expected. The cost below includes the cost for the extra plywood.

Spoke with owner Tim (who’s not very customer friendly). Scheduled approval for estimate and they were a no show. Called back and spoke with Tim that bluntly stated I just don’t know where he is and I have no update. Not very good customer service or appreciation of other people’s time.

I am more than pleased. The price was exceptional with an Angie's coupon. They arrived on time and everyone from the owner to sales to installers were great. I would and have recommended this company. My roof looks great and I can see they installed it properly.

The service was excellent,Don Nicholson is the contact person, he was light to work with. He took the time to work and showed me the roof and the materials to be used in the roof. He did the demos with me on how the roof will look on my house. He spend a long time explaining to me and did everything to make me comfortable and making it sure that i will be satisfied with the work. I will highly recommend this company to others.
