I placed a call to The best air qulity and restoration because the house I was renting was perpetually filled with an aggressive type of mold that was resistant to any effort to eliminate it. My concern was great because I've been diagnosed with asthma, and over a short time after renting the house I began experiencing shortness of breath, light dizzy spells, a spiked increased of uncontrollable allergy symptoms, and worst of all, my skin was extremely irritated as eczema rapidly spread over my body. I arranged an appointment for a technician to come to my house to perform the test. When i called the gentleman was very clear on costs for various test types, leaving nothing out. The tech arrived promptly in a white van, which I appreciated (I had a very nosy neighbor, and this vehicle assured me that the tech's visit would remain a private issue). The tech informed me of various types of mold and potential danger each one carried. He explained to me exactly what kinds of testing method he would be using, along with cost (which did NOT VARY from the cost I was told over the phone), and he answered all my questions thoroughly. In all, my experience with The best air quality and restoration was a good one. They were informative, making sure that I understood what I was dealing with, what testing methods they offered, clear on cost (no surprise fees)!

While the company and the rep were very professional, punctual and responsive the inspection itself was quite superficial and didn't result in any specific or actionable results. Perhaps their remediation or other more specific services are very good, but I would not recommend this inspection service

Val and his team were timely and very efficient in the remediation of the mold in my attic. They arrived when scheduled and completed the service seamlessly. All involved were professional and courteous. We would definitely recommend them

Contractor called day before to confirm appointment. Contractor arrived on time and introduced himself. He was pleasant and efficient. He explained what he was going to do and the purpose. When he was done he explained what he had done and what he had found. He finished in less time than anticipated. He left the area very clean. I was very pleased with the work and felt comfortable with his explanations. I highly recommend the company.

We just had our ducts cleaned. The price is good and the worker is competent and friendly. After cleaning the air seems to smell cleaner and fresher.

It could not have gone better. I would not hesitate to hire him again. The only hitch in the process was that he did not have a long ladder to reach the vent at the top of the wall. I have vaulted ceilings. He looked at it carefully and determined he could reach it with the extended hoses. So all was well.

I used Val for mold testing in my house. Even though the results came back negative, I had allergies and sinus congestion. So I called Val again for air duct cleaning and UV - light installation. It took him about three hours to perform everything. He showed me all of the pictures before and after. There was a huge difference. No wonder I had allergies, there was so much dust in the system. Val did an amazing job. He was very careful and gentle. The service was first class. I highly recommend his service and will definitely use him again.

I have used Val twice now. One for my house, he did air duct cleaning and now mold testing for my mother's house, Val is awesome. His customer service, quality of work , explanation of what he is doing and his personality are all top notch!

Dan cleaned my air duct few day ago and gave me an estimate for mold remediation in basement. We had leakage from our water heater couple years ago and that caused mold all over drywall. I was shop around with deferent company's and got 5-6 estimates.This company saved me almost 2 thousand dollars on serves. Defenetly gonna use this company in the future and recommend to friends and family

What an experience ! The crew arrive 5 minutes earlier (call in advance to let me know) Price was very fair and reasonable. What I liked the most about this company is the hassle free from the first moment I called the scheduling was very easy and the cleaning process even easier. At the end of the job he asked me if I'd like to see some pics and I said "sure" I was shocked what it looked like before and how it is now, fantastic!

I thought the guys at The Best Air Quality and Restoration were very professional and knowledgeable. I had them initially come over to clean our dryer vent, which they did, even explaining that our vent tunnel was curved and also let out beneath a drain pipe, which they showed me. They then checked our vents upon my request, and found mold. My son was hospitalized for pneumonia last spring, and I also had four severe respiratory and sinus infections around the same time over the course of last winter. We never could figure out the trigger, but our Immunologist asked us repeatedly if there might be any mold someplace in the house. After swearing up and down that there wasn't anything, it turns out I was wrong. The infections stopped around the time we quit running the heater, which makes me think they were right. These guys showed me the mold in the vents, and even subtracted the cost of the additional cleaning for what it would cost them to run the organic cleaning fluid through the system. When I asked them if they could clean it today, they actually suggested I take my time, so they weren't pushy with me at all. My husband and I both are highly allergic to mold after renting an apartment in NYC that shared a ventilation system with a condemned building next door. We didn't know about the shared system until it was too late, and we both ended up having back to back sinus surgeries for polyps caused by the mold exposure. So anyone who doesn't think mold is a problem, probably just hasn't had a serious problem yet. I really think they saved us from another miserable winter. I'm just thankful they found it, before we started running the heat again. I was also impressed with their presentation. When they initially got here on time, they immediately put on their shoe guards, so as to not track in anything from outside. We've had a lot of work done in the house, so I can't tell you what a rare thing that is these days. They also looked nice, wearing polo shirts, and seemed to take pride in their business. I plan on calling them again and having the UV light installed in the vents, because to me, it's worth it and I trust these guys to do good work.

Don't look any further if you want to find a contractor that really cares about doing a great job. I hired Val to clean my ducts. Then a more than a year later we started smelling some nasty smells coming from what we thought were the ducts. Val came after his last job of the day...late (past 7pm and he stayed until well after 8) to find out what was going on. Had NOTHING to do with his work but he found a rodent had died under our house and the ducts has come apart. Nasty work but Val was happy and so enjoyable to help us with a nasty job. He removed the little critter. Repaired the ducts! Val is courteous, competent, go well beyond what we expected, and have a fantastic attitude!

I got quotes from several, and Val was the most fairly priced with the best reviews. Other companies tried scare tactics to scare me into paying a lot of money, but Val was kind and patient, didn't try scare me into paying an exorbitant amount of money, and was kind and helpful to work with. They were also very fast and efficient, and did all the work professionally and efficiently. All the mold was removed, and my house is now much safer. Great company to work with.

We just purchased this home in January from someone who did a flip .. After only a few weeks in we have found Alot of mistakes and filth one being the vents. I took off one of the vents in the bedroom to find it filled with pieces of Sheetrock and dust and who knows what else. Well the workers came in and got to work immediately and never stopped Until the job was complete . And let me add they walked in clean and left covered in dust and dirt from my vents.. I can rest knowing my vents and house is that much cleaner thanks to their hard work !!! Oh and they sanitized too!! Love this company and would recommend highly !!!!
