Everyone on the crew was very nice! They did great work, respected the surrounding plants and structures, and Alex (the team lead) was very responsive and helpful with my questions. They even cleaned up all the dropped leaves afterwards, which was totally unexpected. I also really appreciated Alex taking a moment to explain what they had done on several of my tress - to remove as much as they could while still making sure that the tree was mechanically stable and healthy. All around, top notch work and would hire again.

My tree service went well. The workers arrived on time, did an excellent job and cleaned things up very nicely before leaving.

It went very well each of the 3 times I have used them! Workers were extremely efficient, knowledgeable, timely, and detailed in their work. When they were finished, every bit of trash and leftover material was removed - very important to me! I have recommended them to friends, who were quite satisfied with their work. They did a good and safe removal of all three trees. They did an excellent removal of all cut materials and saw dust. I plan to have them plant new trees.

This was the second time I hired Caliber for tree work. The first time, the work was performed well but there had been a miscommunication about stump grinding and Tim, the owner, had to come back personally, to ensure the job was completed as agreed to. This time, the tree to be removed was in a challenging spot immediately next to my garage. Tim had given me a good overview of what could be done and what would be more of a challenge to accomplish. He also gave me a great price. His crew showed up promptly and completed removal in a few hours, but left more stump than I was expecting and also didn't reassemble a fence that was removed for access. After reaching out to Tim, he quickly scheduled time later that week to fix the issue. This time he accompanied the crew, the stump was removed, and the fence was fixed. All in all, Caliber gave me a great price and the work completed was to my satisfaction but it was somewhat frustrating to have to reach out to Tim again to fix an issue. Despite this, I'd hire Caliber for tree work in the future.

This was a great experience! Work was completed on schedule, as agreed to, mulched and clean up. Tim is really great to work with. He’s knowledgeable, was helpful giving us ideas as to how we could plant the new tree. Sent us to Patuxent Nursery(wow, we’ll be going there again), we picked out our tree and Tim’s crew picked it up for us and delivered it. I can’t say enough about this company or Tim. Clear communications and a fair price. I have his business card and he’s in my address book!

Tim, the owner, was very thorough in answering our questions and discussing the estimate. The price of the job seemed very reasonable considering the amount of work that was needed. Alex and his crew were punctual, professional and accommodating. My expectations were exceeded by their hard work and perseverance. The fact they accomplished the job in a heat wave was even more impressive and is a testament to their commitment.

The folks at Caliber Tree Services were wonderful to deal with. I saw the owner in his truck just randomly in my neighborhood and asked for a card. On the spot, he offered to come to my house and give me an estimate while he was waiting for another customer to get home. He gave me a fair price, his team came out the next week, removed the tree and all of the clippings, and made sure the entire area was clean. I will definitely call Caliber for future tree-service needs.

Very rarely are my expectation exceeded but Caliber managed to do that and more. While in the process of getting estimates I was 1st impressed by the detail that Caliber went into to explain the cost of the estimate for the services proposed. Scheduling was easy and they arrived on time and ready to work. The Caliber crew was very professional, conscientious, and thorough. They trimmed 2 trees to remove some limbs that were safety hazards and took down an additional 2 trees. They then cleaned up the yard removing all of the debris and you could barely tell that they had been here. All of this on what was truly the hottest day of the year. Lastly the price was less than their competitors and well within my budget. I will definitely hire them again when I need additional tree services.

Fantastic! They worked with us to come up with the best schedule allowing use of their crane, and that saved us a bunch of money. The job went quickly, doing exactly what was agreed plus a little, and they caused virtually no damage and cleaned up completely. We are super pleased.

I had a single large white oak tree that was suffering from fungus and disease, and we needed to take it down. It was only about 10' from our house and left very little room to work. Tim from Caliber came out quickly for a socially distanced estimate. He expressed confidence and shared his expertise with this tricky removal. Caliber's bid wasn't the lowest I received, but Tim was willing to work on the price. I picked Tim because he planned to use a crane - a competitive bid was lower, but involved cutting down a neighbor's tree so they can take the tree down by hand. Our work was scheduled, done quickly (just a single day), no damage, and our yard was left clean. Tim was highly communicative throughout. Can't ask for more.
