When I confirmed this appointment, I informed the customer service rep, that was only interested in getting an estimate for this work, and this would be my first of likely a few more. The service provider arrived on time and was initially courteous and professional, as he gave an estimate on what he could do for me based on my budget. Immediately after that he stuck out his hand and asked if we had a deal and said it was ridiculous to get other estimates when he had given me a fair price. I agree with the other reviewer that I felt pressured into accepting his offer, which I've never experienced before, let alone someone telling me it was a dumb idea to get a second or third opinion!! This company needs to invest in some serious customer service training for people coming out to people's homes to do work. First impressions are important, and this company failed the test.

Their "project manager"/salesman (Bob) was very promising upon the initial visit, telling me that everything I want would be done very professionally and timely. One thing that alarmed me right away is that he was very pushy to get me to commit all the while insisting that he is not a salesman, and wanted to get a deposit ($800, which is a third of total cost) right away before even scheduling the job. It was a bit unorthodox in my experience (usually, people at least schedule the date of the service prior to demanding money), but I went along with it because I really wanted the project done, and Bob was very vocal about how great his company is. After signing the contract and not hearing anything for d*** near a week, I gave them a call, and learned that unbeknownst to me (and seemingly, everyone else in their office) Bob went on vacation, and would be gone for about a week. No scheduling took place. I got a call back the next day from Bob (from his vacation, apparently), who told me not to worry, and that the workers would be in my house first thing the following week on Tuesday With it being a 2-day job, I took 2 days off of work, but when Tuesday came, NO ONE EVER SHOWED UP AT MY HOUSE! I didn't get a call, or an email, or even a text. Bob was still on vacation and not answering his phone, and none of his receptionists had the slightest idea what was going on. I never got a call back, or any kind of apology for wasting my time. When I said I wanted to get my money back, rather than just refunding the money back to my credit card, they said I would have to wait 2-3 business days, after which a paper check would be snail-mailed to my house (so, wait some more, then go to the bank to deposit it in person). This was the biggest waste of my time, caused me nothing but inconvenience, and was possibly the MOST UNPROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD WITH ANY COMPANY. Not only did I spend weeks waiting, I got absolutely nothing for it, except a constant headache. If you want results, and don't want to constantly track people down only to get a bunch of "it's not my fault"s, DON'T HIRE THESE CLOWNS..

I would recommend Beltway builders to anyone looking to do any home improvement they are very accommodating there to answer any questions along the way great crew excellent craftsmanship.
