Our experience with Ultra Guard Security Systems was great! Our system was specifically designed to fit our needs. Lindsey Pearce came up with what was needed and right for us. They were able to update the existing system and integrate it with their new parts and technology. The installation went flawlessly. The team of employees doing the installation were knowledgeable and competent in their field. We would highly recommend Ultra Guard Security Systems for and work you need done whether you need an upgrade or a whole new system.

Ultra Guard Security Systems did an excellent job. They were very professional, knowledgeable and technically competent. Lindsey Pearce was very easy to work with. She analyzed our home environment and provided an excellent proposal. UGSS was able to incorporate a manual bypass system that was part of our original security system. We requested proposals from four vendors, including the incumbent and only UGSS responded. Finally their call center is very prompt. I highly recommend Ultra Guard Security Systems.

I can't say enough good things about Ultra Guard Security. When you call.....you'll speak to Stephanie to make your appointment. She's warm, helpful, caring and super smart. Stephanie even took the time to teach me how to use the app and walk me through setting up our system online. The Ultra Guard team is AMAZING. Reggie is beyond wonderful. Reggie took his time, walked around the house and helped make suggestions for improving our system. Reggie also left me his cell number and promptly answered a text from me a few days later when I had a question. I never write reviews.....but have to for Ultra Guard Security. They're that good. You won't be disappointed with their service, attention to details and friendly staff.

Ultra Guard updated the firmware on both of my units and found a feed wire from the modem to the dvr that was frayed, replaced the wire and ran it where the same thing wouldn't happen again and got me up and running. Previous company that did the installation wanted to replace my unit. Also made some suggestions that improved the proformance for viewing the cameras on my monitor. Would highly recommend.

I’ve been very pleased with my alarm system. The installation was easy and the equipment is expandable and can be customized to the needs of your home. I like that I receive notifications whenever the system is armed or disarmed or if there’s a power outage and the convenience of the remote monitoring from my phone or computer. Customer service has always been very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. They will go the extra mile to help you and try to resolve issues over the phone whenever possible to save you a service call. I didn’t think I wanted or needed a security system, but I love having the peace of mine. One of the best investments you can make. First class company, I highly recommend UGSS.

Fantastic! They were clear as to why they proposed what they did, were thorough and careful in the work and timely and considerate in their dealings with us. We had a bit of discussion with our HVAC person about which thermostat to use and they were flexible and accommodating in dealing with him as well. First-rate all around. I have already recommended them to other people.

Excellent Service. Provided the right system for my home, and answered all of my questions. Very professional staff with a lot of knowledge, not just a big Company that will not be available after they make the sale. Company is always available to help with any issues with the alarm, even late at night. Very happy with the choice I made.

In nasty divorce year 2. Concerned about my safety so changed security alarm companies to UGSS. Husband filed a John Doe action in Fairfax County alleging someone "hacked" his bank account. He used that law suit to subpoena my security alarm records from Ultra Guard including emails I sent them. They never told me or asked my permission. I had no idea. I only found out because I needed a tech because someone was ringing my doorbell in the middle of the night and the cameras were not working. Go figure! Husband used the John Doe action to get records he was not entitled to under the divorce. USGG just sent them to my Husband. They never copied me or sent the subpoena to me. I found out 4 months later. What a breach of my privacy. Had Ultra Guard told me, my attorneys would have stopped this. There is no way my Husband is entitled to these records. Ultra Guard will clearly just hand over all our files on you and any emails you send them on any lawsuit whether or not it has merit. And they were not at all apologetic about it once I found out. Do NOT use them ever. They will send your records to anyone without even telling you.

The installation went pretty smooth, they did a good job in hiding the wires and trying to make it look as clean as possible for a house that was not setup for this type of wiring. They avoided going into the attic, which made the installation much faster. I wanted the least conspicuous cameras in the front of the house due to my HOA architecture requirements, so I went with their "bullet" cameras (2) and (2) of their traditional speco tube cameras. The software for the cameras is average, I think there is better software out there from other commercial cameras, but the plus side is that there is no annual fee for accessing the live feed from speco servers. They do not encrypt their transmission, so if you don't care about "others" watching your feed, then you are good to go. The receiving box for the internal recording is pretty rudimentary, but it works, plus it has a key to get into the electrical boards and hard drive. One thing to note is that you should request to see what the entirety of the camera components will look like on your house! I was surprised when I saw a gray metal box behind the small bullet cameras outside the house, it looked like a fine camera with an ugly radioshack metal box behind it, it was obvious that it was not made together by the manufacturer. The Good News! they came back right away to change the ugly metal boxes with another two tube cameras. Customer service is awesome.

The company, people, and job were all fantastic. From the start, Lindsey was one of the best sales people we’ve encountered. She listened closely to our needs and responded quickly to all our concerns and questions. Her follow-up was exceptional and she was extremely patient. Andy, Carl, and Reggie were involved with the install and they were equally enjoyable to work with. This small business has a great product and even better employees!

We have used Ultraguard for over 20 yrs. Many of the same people still work there - Andy is a fabulous installer. He recently upgraded our system panel. After the upgrade, we had a major water leak but didn't know it until the water alarm sounded - the alarm prevented a significant amount of damage.
