Description of Work: Tile Center provided an estimate through a Big Deal, but I went with another firm. Tile Center’s estimate was thorough, they took the time to meet with me and go over the estimate and possible changes. A good, professional experience. I just chose to go another way with the project.

Description of Work: Measured bathroom for remodel estimate. Was punctual and friendly. The low marks are because we were never offered or provided with a 3d draft of remodel plans.

Description of Work: Our kitchen was badly in need of renovation. I had purchased a kitchen design from Angie's list. I did not want to make major changes in terms of layout and wanted to keep my Vulcan range. Tushar, who came to do the design, was respectful of my wishes. New kitchen cabinets, granite counter-tops, backsplashes, sink, and a new floor were installed. I wanted a heated floor as the radiator had been removed from the kitchen many years ago and the room could be cold in the winter. However, I was reluctant to install stone as I understand it can be hard to stand on for any length of time. Tushar found a high quality vinyl which solved the problem. I dealt with Anthony and Tushar who were both pleasant and responsive. Tushar had excellent suggestions for color and matching products. I don't know how to rate price as I did not have other estimates. The price did not include a new refrigerator and dishwasher which were purchased separately but installed by the Tile Center.

Description of Work: Great tile work, disappointed in "design" aspect of changes. No real recommendations for enhancements or improvements simply replaced previous items. Called prior to all next day services to confirm they would be there which was really nice. Cleaned up after themselves - very professional. Services was pricey but quality of work was good. Very disappointed for the price of the service painting the walls was NOT included. Felt end product was incomplete.

Description of Work: They came to take a look at our outdated kitchen - had not been changed for 25+ years - and subsequently gave us a couple of drawings of options - to renovate the interior space...Mr. Zia Rhabanni was very helpful, kind and professional!

Description of Work: They called and sent out someone fairly quickly and all went well until it became clear that since the price they quoted then was a minimum of $35,000 that we were going to get additional quotes. That sort of ended the conversation from their side. The did provide us with drawings, but they didn't reflect some of the things that my wife asked for. The estimate that they came back with the drawings was 20% less than their original estimate. Description of Work: This year's home improvement for us is remodeling our master bathroom. Today, we've received the Tile's Center quote and it is 2.5 times more expensive than the other 3 quotes we've received from other contractors. My initial thought was that there must be something wrong with the estimate but there isn't. The designer for the Tile Center even mentioned that we didn't give him a budget. Not true because while I was at the store I requested the quote to include a specific tile (which was their current special & very affordable) and also mentioned that we might wait another year before getting the shower glass/door because of the cost. So, I'm shocked to have received a quote for over $22K to redo our bathroom. Needless to say, we will not use them for any work as their main concern is to make money by quoting outrageous pricing for their services while not paying any attention to what the customer has to say. A complete waste of our time.

Description of Work: Provider evaluated changes we wanted in the Master bathroom and made suggestions. He said he would email the estimate. Four weeks later I had not yet received the estimates. I called and was told that they would send the estimate but they did not.

Description of Work: This was an Angies List Big Deal. From my reading of the ad, I thought I was going to get design drawings that I could use and I considered a re-do of my kitchen. Anthony was friendly and helpful. But I didn't get the design drawings (with the specific measurements that they came to my house to get!). Anthony noted that I wasn't the only person who got "confused" about this. When I came home and re-read the ad, it still seemed a bit misleading but technically accurate. The service was good...it just wasn't what I thought I had signed up for.

Description of Work: New subway tile surround/floor/ new sink,faucets and toilet. Henry the tile installer and Fred the plumber did a great job. Joe with whom I originally contracted was always available to help coordinate things, as I purchased toilet sink cabinet and faucets on my own. Excellent work, completed in about 5 days. Would use this company again

Description of Work: I bought a coupon from Angie's List that offered the services of the Tile Center to re-do my shower stall with ceramic tile. Shortly after I bought the coupon a representative came to my home to take measurements and record my tile choices, etc. The work crew showed up as scheduled but were surprised to learn that they were responsible for the removal of the current shower tile. They coordinated with the Tile Center and then removed the tile. They placed it in my driveway and informed me that they were not responsible for hauling off the debris. I contacted the Tile Center, who in-turn contacted the crew and the debris was removed. The tile work was done professionally and looks great. Unfortunately, the work crew informed me that they were not responsible for sealing the new tile nor were they responsible for damage to the existing drywall as a result of their work. Again I contacted the company and this time things didn't go as smooth as previous exchanges. At first I was told the tile didn't need to be sealed (not true) and then I was told someone would be calling me to set up an appointment to come out and look at the project. Until then, my bathroom shower remains "out of commission." The disconnect as I see it, is that the Tile Center did not make sure their work crew understood what they were responsible for. And, it's quite possible the Tile Center didn't inform me properly as to what they were responsible for. I am hoping for a positive resolution and will provide further updates as this unfolds. UPDATE: It took a while but the Tile Center finally got around to sending someone out to repair the drywall that they damaged during the shower stall installation. They sent someone to my home without first contacting me which resulted in no one being home when the repairman arrived. On the "coordinated" day, the repairman arrived 2 hours late. The shower stall looks great but it was not worth the hassle. If I had to do it all over again I would take a chance on a different company.

Description of Work: My kitchen is not yet installed so cannot give the final report but feel compelled to report on the outstanding service I have received to date. The services delivered so far are the plans and drawings prepared by Vivi Flanigan and ordering the cabinets I bought the drawings as a special promotion on Angie's List and was not expecting much since the price was so low. Instead I received highly professional beautifully prepared drawings with creative ideas on how to arrange the kitchen. An architect friend of mine says they are some of the best drawings he has seen. Vivi is extremely conscientious and patient. She spent endless hours revising and redrawing to accommodate my additional requests. It's very rare today to get such excellent service. To those looking for best kitchen design I recommend Vivi. Can't imagine finding better service.

Description of Work: Eddie Tirani was very helpful in the store with giving us approximate estimates for wall to wall carpeting in our family room and telling us about the quality and type of carpeting we needed. He then came to our home for measurement and his in store estimate was accurate. The installers were prompt, careful and worked without any delays. Eddie called to make sure we were happy with the installation and our new carpeting. The carpeting looks and feels perfect in our family room. We would use Tile Center again.
