Sean was prompt and very knowledgeable. Agreed to have my Cryptomeria tree treated for pine needle scale, which was reasonably priced. He gave me insight as to the other trees on the property and we discussed a plan for pruning them at a future point.

When we bought the house four years ago they were taking care of the trees. We used them for a year and just canceled it. I think they were okay in terms of being responsive and the man that I dealt with. The people that trimmed the trees actually caused some damage to the house and didn't admit it right away, but I saw them do it. So, that's one of the reasons why I didn't do business with them anymore. On the quality of service, I have to take into account the damage. It's not supposed to hit the house, and then they did and they didn't own up to it. On professionalism, when I was dealing with the salesman, he was very professional.

The crew arrived on time and with all necessary equipment. They were careful to disturb as little of the garden as possible, and quite efficient in removing the tree and grinding down the stumps 8-12" below the soil line. Couldn't be happier!

Not well. Cancelled my service that I had for many years. I had scheduled Mar.-Apr. crabgrass control service for last spring. Last fall, Brian very rude and argumentative on the phone by insisting that I had also requested September-October service when I had not and hadn't for many years. I had requested only late fall service in Nov.-Dec. But, they appeared in Sept; did not charge me.. Brian said during phone call in Sept they would do Nov.-Dec. service but never did with no explanation.

The Arborist knew his business and explained what was occurring with the tree. Cleaned up totally afterwards.

It went very well. They came in did the job as I wanted it and cleaned up.

I am very happy with them. A young man named Andrew Walker who have manly been dealing with, has been very responsive. He has taken care of our boxwood beautifully. They have came back nicely and we are very very happy.

We have been using them every year to fertilize and prune our trees and what-have-you. They are a pretty big national company. I have used them for, like, 20 years. I think they are traded on the New York Stock Exchange. I am president of the home owner's association and we have a lot of trees in the neighborhood and there is some kind of virus going through this entire county of Maryland. The county contracted with them to take care of some things so then we decided to contract with them too. They have an excellent reputation. We have been dealing with them since about 2001. There are about 90 trees here. I just know the district manager, John Wright. He has been with them for, like, 20 years. They did not charge us anything for the consult. I think it is because of the nature of the relationship and the years we have used them. They are professional. Problems always arise but the thing is they have a solid management structure so that if a problem does arise you go up the food chain and management gets on top of it right away. It is a professional company and I would recommend them to anyone. I used them in a previous home I lived in. I have been working with them since 1991. I can't think of anything bad about them. Anybody else would have charged us $150 for the consultation. They are a professional company; everybody has cell phones and pagers. They text you if somebody is going to be 15 minutes late. They send email follow ups with hard copy letters. They are on top of things. This is a straight A company. It is not a franchise company.

I have used them personally for over 20-something years. The homeowner association I belong to has used them for over 15 years. I think probably the fact that I am on the board of directors has had a lot to do with it. I have to bid them out and I have compared their pricing. It is a once a year service.

We live in a wooded lot, so we have regular tree inspections to have dead branches removed before they fall down an potentially damage the house. I picked out Davey Tree initally because they have an arborist on staff, and they had good reviews on Angie's List. We have worked with them before,and were pleased with them. On this inspection, the arborist (Lawrence Eckart) let us know that the enormous oak tree in the front yard was declining, and would need to be removed, either now, or in the spring. We opted for now. Davey Tree worked with us to schedule our appointment ASAP, because we had several other projects that had to be scheduled after the tree removal. The weather was favorable, and the day of the appointment, the crew arrived with a crane (necessary due to the tree's size, and the fact that it was less than ten feet from the front of the house.) on time, and proceeded to get to work. It took them most of the day, and they were careful when they put the sections of tree down, not to damage our walkway. They also removed a couple of dead branches and suckers from two other trees in the front yard. When they got down to the stump, I was concerned to note that there was a large dead.rotting spot in the center of the tree at the base, and that it seemed to go down into the ground for at least a foot. Which suggested that the roots might be involved. At this point, I was very relieved that we had decided to have the tree removed now instead of the spring. When I voiced my concerns, they cut a slice off one of the logs to cover up the hole (to keep curious children and small pets from falling in) The crew cleaned up after themselves well, although we did find a couple of empty water bottles in the yard later. All in all, we were very happy with their work. A separate appointment had to be made to grind the stump, and it was a bit delayed due to needing repair, so it wasn't done until 08/11/15. A workman arrived with a very large machine, put up coverings on the nearest window, and maneuvered the machine carefully around the brickwork. It wasn't as noisy as I'd worried it would be. He cleaned up after himself very well, and left a large pile of sawdust where the stump have been, which one of my neighbors is happy to take off our hands.

I called the company and it took a week to set a date to visit for an estimate because i was told I could email a pic of the handwritten form I was to sign. Supposedly no one checked their email. The estimate visit went fine for us. The guy was professional. The guy came and told us he could do the job of removing all of the vines and a trellis from our fenced-in back yard. We just bought the townhouse and the yard was terrible and full of invasive vines. It took a few days to schedule for the job to be done. We get an email yesterday at 3pm on a Friday telling us that no one can show up on the scheduled day and that they will show up the next Wednesday. Seriously!? I called and had to leave a message at 4pm because no one answers the phone at 4pm. I responded to the email at 340pm saying that I appreciated the update, but I didn't appreciate being told when they wanted to show up. My spouse took time off of work for the scheduled day to be at home. SINCE we have a FENCED-IN YARD and there is NO ACCESS except through the garage or house (the seller of the house bolted the back fence door shut, it's rusted shut and a huge bush was planted in front of it) THE GUY KNOWS THIS. The attitude that we don't have jobs and we're home anytime of the day is RIDICULOUS! I stated that the other option was to show up on the Thursday after 3pm of next week when I was leaving work early and would be home. Of course, no one returned my call or responded to my email before 5pm. The females who answer the phones and send out emails need to be more professional. This unprofessional treatment for what ever reason is unacceptable. All customers should be treated in a professional manner and equal no matter how much money is being spent!

We've been using them for years. They're good. They do a good job. They are dependable. They're reasonably priced. They're reliable and they come when they're supposed to. They've done a good job for us all these years.
