The plumber did a wonderful job repairing the pipe. A little expensive though.

We had Stang Plumbing out to a rental property of ours. In the process of remodeling we found that the water shut-offs were not shutting off completely. We had them out to replace all of the valves in the apartment, disconnect the gas stove, and install a new tub during the remodel process. I highly recommend Stang as they do what they say they are going to do, they are punctual every time, and very professional. Outstanding in every way.

The 2 gentlemen who responded were professional, knowledgeable and courteous. The repair was made in a timely fashion, and they took the time to explain to me how this happened.

Totally excellent. It was easy to work with the crew that was on site, Jon, the owner, was on site at various points and he was very easy to work with and attentive to our needs. Can't say enough about these guys and the work that they did, and it's ALL positive.

The Stang customer service rep contact us and quickly setup an appointment. The service rep arrived called before arriving, earlier than expected. He quickly assessed the problem and fixed it with in 20 minutes and cleaned up after his work. The service rep was professional and respectful. I would recommend Stang and use them again.

I was not happy with the quality of the work. Each time I asked for another repair they would say they’d come back. They charged me for a part I didn’t need. They did not fix what was really causing the toilet leak which was the ring at the base.

Jay was awesome! He was very professional and puntual! He came in and assessed the issues immediately. If it weren’t for Jay our living room would of been flooded. Stang on call service was fantastic! I made the call at 8am and Jay showed up 45 mins later. I will calling Stang for now on and asking for Jay by name.

My wife and I are very pleased with the service we received. The crew was on time, they quickly assessed the problem and were able to fix it in no time. They also showed me how to better winterize my home and answered all of my questions. Very friendly and professional. We would recommend them for any plumbing needs. Price was reasonable as well.

Amazing service! I called Stang with a genuine emergency, after hours, on a national holiday (MLK). A serviceman responded to my request WITHIN 30 MINUTES and expertly walked me through the situation. Washington Gas was not very helpful during this stressful event and the plumber from Stang acted as our advocate. This was the first time I've called on Stang, but the professionalism and expertise they provided will make me a long-term customer.

We had pipes burst in the ceiling above our garage. We called Stang at 7am and we had a plumber here by 8:30am! Jay was fantastic- he knew exactly what happened and was wonderful in doing what needed to be done, figured out how to fix it and how we can prevent it going forward. The rate was reasonable. Stang Plumbing came out the Tuesday after Christmas, and fixed the problem right away. We will continue calling on Stang Plumbing for our plumbing problems, and definitely recommend.

It went well. The plumber arrived on time, worked steadily, and cleaned up. Very professional.

Our sump pump had stopped working and we were facing being out of town for a few days. Due the weather fluctuations that we experience and having had water issues in the basement related to the walk out drain being clogged, we did not want to leave with a non functional sump pump. I called Stang Plumbing and Htg around 11:00 AM and they promised to have someone here between 2:00 & 4:00 PM. Lewis was the technician and in less than 10 minutes confirmed that the pump did need to be replaced. He replaced the pump, cieaned up the area and was gone in a little over an hour. He had everything he needed on his truck and did a great job. The final price was $20 less than what he quoted me because he told me I could contact Angie's List and buy a $40 coupon for $20 which I did. Going forward, we will contact Stang for any plumbing issues that might arise. Highly recommend this company and expecially Lewis, the technician they sent to our house.

The plumber who did the work was extremely knowledgeable and professional and very good at diagnosing problems. However, pricing was a different story. We have used Stang Plumbing multiple times in the past, but I would not use them again due to their new pricing plan. We had multiple small issues that needed attention. The problem is that rather than charge by the hour, Stang now charges the homeowner for every repair on an itemized basis, based upon looking up "the national average" cost for each repair job on a handheld tablet. To replace the flapper on our two toilets and replace a simple valve on the handheld shower, the cost was over $600 - and would have been much higher had I not objected strenuously to the original estimate ($300 per toilet to replace a flapper!). Although the plumber was extremely professional, next time around, I will be sure to choose a company that charges for parts and labor by the hour.

Repaired it quickly at comparable prices to local trade.

It went well they were very responsive and came the same day I called them and finished the job even though they had to stay late.

He did a great job getting water to my barn until he could get a new pump

Stang was courteous, on-time and very professional in fixing my garbage disposal problem. I would hire again.

We thought it would be fairly simple - we'd tried to use a hardware store snake that couldn't reach - but it turned out that they needed to bring a snake long enough to reach two stories to get to the clog and break it up. They didn't give up until they'd succeeded, which we appreciated - even though it ended up taking a long time (over 4 hours) and was more expensive than we anticipated.

Outstanding, though it was a MUCH bigger job than I expected. Needed to video the drain and figure our where things were running, then dig out about 15 feet of foundation, replace about 12 feet of pipe, balloon the drain, re-set two toilets. A complicated enough job, handled professionally and with a drive to get it right. In addition Jon, the owner, and Louis and Joe, Stang plumbers, collectively made sure I was aware of what was going on, what needed to get done, and took great care to make sure I understood why what was being done was happening. I couldn't have asked for a better crew to do the job and I'm very, very happy with the result - everything now works and I've received plenty of advice on how to minimize the chance of the problem ever occurring again.
