From the beginning, Dawn was helpful and informative, and able to answer all of my many "what if" and "then what" questions about our plumbing issues. I was sold on this company not only by her pleasant demeanor but by by her "less is more" approach to drain maintenance. I had called other companies that recommended snaking, then hydro-jetting, then possibly re-plumbing - Dawn told me what was NOT necessary, then offered a non-invasive, general maintenance option. On the day of the appointment, she called, as promised, when the tech was on his way. My husband was there to receive him and had nothing but positive things to say - all of his many questions were answered, and there were many other helpful tips offered (no more anti-bacterial soap for us - we want those healthy bacteria in our septic system!) He also offered good solutions for an upcoming renovation and took measurements to re-run a gas line. We were pleased on all counts and will call again!

Can't remember the technicians name but he arrived on time, made sure to put on booties over shoes so not to soil carpet. Was Knowledgeable and efficient. Even offered to install the new washer for me, but had already made arrangements for a technician from the company we bought the washer from to install. Will certainly use this company again...

I scheduled an afternoon appointment with Stang Plumbing and the plumber arrived right at 2 pm. They called ahead to make sure I was home. It took him less than 1 hour to remove and install the new garbage disposal which I bought myself. They billed me for the 1 hour's labor + miscellaneous (plumber's putty to seal the drain ring) which came out to $190, but with the $40 voucher, the final cost was $150 which I thought was reasonable. Overall, I was pleased with their courteous and professional service, and I would recommend this service provider to my friends and family.

They did it as well as they do everything else. They came out and did the job. They got it done expeditiously and efficiently. Their service, quality and professionalism made me use them all these years.

They're easy to get an appointment with. Their technicians are very professional. They do the job right the first time. I've been using this provider for about 13 years.

They identified that my old tar-paper (often called Orangeberg) sewer drain pipe in the front yard was becoming flattened out slightly and had some root intrusion. This allowed me to determine that I absolutely needed to replace the sewer drain pipe at the same time as the leaking water service line was replaced. They never sent me the recording of the sewer camera video, and they never sent me the report, which is why I gave them a B overall. Also, they quoted me the highest price out of four quotes I received for replacing the leaking water line and tar paper sewer drain pipe. So I had another company do the repair work, which save me tons of money. Jon, the owner of the company, is a super-knowledgeable and expert master plumber. He really knows his stuff and is someone I would go to if I had a plumbing issue that no one else could figure out.

Everyone was very courteous and the person performing the repairs called me and showed up on schedule. I previously purchased a $20 for $40 worth of service, which was also recommended by the company. Unfortunatley, I don't think this saveed me $20 because I was charged for an extra 15 minutes of service, which I don't really feel was warranted. However, the job was done to my satisfaction and I would use this company again for plumbing services.

Overall, it went okay. We had to chase them around a bit to get them to complete everything they said they were going to do. We failed the gas water heater inspection the first time around, but they made it right eventually. The work wound up being right and they charged us what they said they would, but it was a bit of a chore. That being said, I would probably still use them again. We were happy with the final result.

Had toilet filling slowly. Looked up a plumber and purchased deal. I was able to fix it myself, so I called Angie's List for a refund.

I was amazed that they could come out the day after Thanksgiving. I had chosen a 2-4 pm time window, but got a call asking if they could come earlier, which actually turned out better for me. The technician (David, I think) was personable and able to explain all of our issues and fix them. When I called in for the services, I mentioned that I found them on Angie's list and the person on the phone reminded me that there was a coupon that would save me $20. Overall great and I would definitely use them again.

Went well. Technician completed repair in timely manner

Took longer than expected due to the age of the old plumbing which in turn increased the total hourly fee. They did an excellent job and cleaned up after themselves.

I decided to use this provider because they were rated A on Angie's List and had over 200 ratings. The company has a website and I like to do most things online if I can. I found them online and their website had a box to request an appointment, so I entered all the info on a Thursday and did not hear from them at all. On Monday I telephoned and connected immediately to a live person. I explained about the website request and she admitted that they were having issues with the website. I was offered an appointment for Wednesday, but due to my schedule, I asked for Thursday. I got the first slot of 8:00 am. The plumber arrived on time. He was professional and courteous. He diagnosed the leak as a faulty tank of the instant hot spout. He fixed the garbage disposal and installed a second valve that was needed. He worked efficiently and was gone in 45 minutes. Could not have asked for a better outcome.

Stang Plumbing provided extraordinary professional service. The master plumber responded quickly to my need for information sufficient to decide whether to repair or negotiate with a buyer. He evaluated the leak spotted by the inspector and determined two things important to me: the leak was not where most of the discoloration was (and which would have been more expensive and time consuming to repair) and the leak could be repaired without cutting drywall. The master then emailed his conclusion and an estimate. When authorized to proceed, Stang's plumber completed the repair and they honored the estimate even though the repair took longer than originally estimated because the plumber kept stopping to avoid overheating in the small space available because I did't want the drywall to be cut. I was relieved to find professionals I could trust when I couldn't be there.

The plumber was on time, very professional and quick about his work. He completed the job in under and hour (it was close) and avoided the additional charge for work lasting over an hour. This included a thorough cleaning of the work area when he was done.

Person who answered the phone was very helpful regarding my specific situation. Was able to schedule a technician to come out in two days. Pleased with the work and the ease of setting up an appointment.

We had an issue with our plumbing that they said would be repaired with a valve replacement. The did this but we continued to have the plumbing issue and had to contact someone else to resolve it. I was not overly impressed.

Went well. A bit pricy but cleared the drain.

Our service tech, Rob, was punctual, courteous, and professional. He walked me through every step of the repairs he was going to make, then showed me exactly what he was doing, explaining everything very clearly and patiently addressing every question or concern I had on the spot. Our faucet problem was a puzzle at first, but he kept at it, really going the extra mile to make sure he'd checked everything and completed the job to my satisfaction. I would highly recommend not only Stang in general, for the excellent overall customer-service support I received around my appointment, but I'd call out Rob specifically as a very skilled, trustworthy technician who got the job done at a price that didn't give me a heart attack, and he did so with great respect for my time.

I had a leak spray when trying to turn on an outside water faucet. The old twist valve had a drain pip, and originally I didn't know how bad the leak was. This could have been tightened, but given the age of the house, I wanted new valves installed in two outside outlets. The technician was nice enough to do this alternative work, despite the unexpected workload. I am pleased at the quality of the work. It is work that I'd put off for several years, and now it is done. Plumbing is never inexpensive, but this was similar to the rate I was charged to do several other valves a couple of years ago. Once the work was increased past the initial leak, I was going to go over the one hour minimum cost, and I stopped thinking about it. I felt better to do more work at the same rate than to have it done in less than an hour at the fixed cost. Go figure.

Everything was performed well. The minimum cost and time was not met, but were thus charged for it. It was nice that they were able to fix the problem within the hour. They also offered to look at other drains as the time was already paid for.
