They came over yesterday, and I'm still reeling from extraordinary expenece. I had the garage from h***. In advance to their coming, I spent several weeks trashing rusty junk. I tried to arrange what I had left in plastic boxes, so it could be moved easily. I also moved the cars from the garage. They workers arrived. Just two women who were very slender, but strong like Mighty Mouse. They were so strong and flexible! They removed every item from the shelves, scrubbed the shelves clean, and put all the items back. They did this everywhere including in the corners and on the windows. They took a hose and washed the floor too. I don't think there's a spider or web left, which is amazing, because it was a spider hotel before. They also found extra hooks lay around. and anything that was on the floor is now hanging up. I also noticed that they slightly reorganized my shelving and it makes sense! Everything looks so roomy, and now I have more room on the shelves to put stuff. Prior to their arrival, I'd removed rusted junky shelves and some metal trash outside the garage, and the women helped me haul it down the driveway to the special county trash. I've been going to the garage to look at it for the pleasure. At this moment in time, it's perfect, and they made it happen. I think it's great.

Sky Maids - on time and worked beyond the amount of time originally contracted w/out up charge. It was a team of three plus a visit and participation from their supervisor. I was left with an estimate for a proposed bi-weekley cleaning schedule. The price was perfect and we are signing on.

They do a great job and are very accommodating when our schedules change.

Overall, I was satisfied with the cleaning itself.... they got the job done, but there were some bumps in the road that should probably be addressed. My house mate was home at the time and she felt the workers were very rude to her. Additionally, she felt they were being careless with how they were throwing away things. Luckily we haven't found anything missing yet. There was a stack of clothes accidentally knocked behind the dryer though that could have been handled more carefully. We were told we were going to get four hours of cleaning for $99 per the Angie's List deal, which is a really great deal. However, when the crew showed up, they insisted to my house mate that it was only two hours. I looked it up and confirmed that it was supposed to be four hours, and they only did two hours of work. I'm not complaining, because for the amount we paid, two hours makes sense, but we were promised something different. Early in the process I asked for a receipt because the landlord was paying to have this done and wanted to see a receipt for it after. I never received a receipt even though my credit card was charged. I eventually emailed and then called them and they assured me they'd send the receipt. When they did send me a receipt it was a receipt of somebody with the same first name, but it was not my name. Essentially, they sent me somebody else's personal information which is a bit concerning since I gave them my credit card number. I pointed out their error and they sent me the correct receipt shortly thereafter. So, generally, the cleaning was fine, the price was very good. But, there were significant issues with professionalism that I think they need to address for the good of their company and also to protect the personal information of their clients.

I would not use Sky Maid again. They tried to upsell from the beginning, was too slow (on purpose it seemed), needed a lot of supervision (so wasted my time), and pretended they didn’t understand what you’re saying in order to charge you more (also wasted my time). The cleaning itself was mixed, some were good, but some were not. The upsell began when the appointment was made. I asked for deep cleaning in certain areas after I moved in (certain kitchen appliances and cabinet exterior, one of the toilets, shower walls) and others as time allowed. I bought 4 hours for $99 on Angie’s List special and thought that should be plenty of time. Hern at Sky Maid told me that may not be enough time and that I could purchase extra time at $40/hour. I told him 4 hours should be more than enough. But it took a long time to make him understand that because he pretended not to understand. I had to repeat and be emphatic. 3 women came to clean. Hern called to tell me they’re arriving after they arrived. The woman in charge (Letitia) asked me for a garbage bag and paper towels the first thing. I thought they were supposed to provide own cleaning supplies. She did a good job with the oven and a decent job with the cabinet doors. The other two women cleaned the bathrooms, and it took each of them 1 hour each per bathroom! That was too slow! The older woman got rid of the most of the toilet stain, but not completely, so the toilet still showed brown spots. The younger woman was very unprofessional, slow, and not effective. She was texting and talking on the phone (personal—she was smiling and laughing and not really paying attention to cleaning). She missed many spots on the shower wall, despite spending an hour in a small bathroom. I showed them the other bathroom and the utility room to clean when they arrived as well as telling Hern before, but after the initial bathrooms, the two women stood around. I showed them to the other places to clean. They seemed to be perturbed by it and also told me there was not enough time. So I ended up purchasing another hour by calling Hern. I told Hern that the Angie’s List deal said additional hour was $25, and that I’d purchase 1 total labor hour. He then took his time “calculating” and told me it’ll be $75 because there are 3 women. I told him 1 total labor hour again, and said that’ll be 20 minutes per person. This simple concept took about 15 minutes to convey, because Hern just didn’t understand or more likely, pretended he didn’t understand. The cleaning women seemed to not want to clean anymore, and got together saying something to each other in Spanish and laughing—you can guess what they were saying—but they had bad attitudes in general. Then the next surprise. They charged me $124 (in addition to the $99 special I already paid for Angie’s List coupon). I know this because I checked my credit card activities, not because he sent me the receipt as I asked. Then I called Hern—the phone was not answered, but I left a message. Then I called the next morning after 9, and it went directly to voice mail. Then I called another number—Letitia answered. I explained the same thing to her. Both of them pleaded ignorance, but that they'll fix the problem, but didn't. I told Hern I’d make more phone calls, but that I’m giving him the chance to correct this first. He kept on pretending he didn’t understand, and then he said he’d do it later. I made it very clear that I have more recourse. I called the Angie’s List and called my credit card company. Probably realizing they can’t get away with it, they eventually gave me a refund for the portion I already paid. I don’t know how many people used Sky Maid, gave them credit card, and not checked, but I recommend checking your statement. Overall, I would not use them again. I still had to clean the same items after they left.

I really like this organization and I have already contracted for a cleaning in July. As usual, my house was sparkling clean when the team left. The beds were made, the kitchen and the bathrooms were immaculate and the dusting was great. Vernoca and her team were on time, worked very hard for 2 hours and quietly left when finished. I really don't ever want to use anyone else .

They did a great job, as always. My house looks brand new and they really pay attention to details. I totally recommend Sky Maids, especially if You are looking for a regular basis service. I tried them some times before and I now they come every other week to maintain my place sparkling clean.

Got the special ... They did amazing job on my house ... It looks way better them before ...

The two ladies arrived on time, performed the work and pleasant to work with. My house has never looked as clean as it did after they left. They did not waste any time getting to work and help clean our home.

It was okay. They were average. What they said on the advertisement was that they focused on the kitchen. The one thing I would have said was that even though they had spent all of their time in the kitchen and nowhere else, that would have have been the best thing. They could have probably got it cleaned to a point where we were looking for. As it were, we had to go back and do some things. The price was great.

They cleaned our house in exchange for money. As agreed.

The team was very responsive and a breeze to coordinate with. They arrived very early (like 3 hours early), but I think that was because they knew I wasn't home and they were picking up keys from the front desk of my apartment. I came home later to check and they had done a wonderful job. They even cleaned my dog's paw prints off of the walls! The inside of the oven still needed a little work, but they got most of the grease out. I would definitely use them again.

They did a piece of job in the small time they had. They weren't as thorough as I've had before but they were only there for just a few hours. With what I paid it was an alright job. The price was good because it was an introductory offer of $99.

I called them that day to schedule and they returned my call the following business day. We scheduled them to come out today, May 19th. I received two phone messages from them the night before at 3:30 and the second was at 3:45. She sounded frantic about me calling to confirm. I called them after work around 7pm. No one answered and I couldn't leave a message on either voicemail box as they were full. When I finally got a hold of them this morning, they said they couldn't come any longer. I took the day off work to get this work done. If they are not going to show when they say they will, I don't want to work with them.

Great! They showed up on time, there were four cleaning professionals, I opened the garage, and then left them on their own. I had paid for a special that included 4 hours of cleaning and organization, and so with 4 persons working they accomplished it in an hour. They did a wonderful job. Before the appointment, I had gone through and thrown away/donated items that I knew I wouldn't use again. This made it easier for them to clean and organize the items that would remain in the garage. I was impressed that not only did they somehow manage to wash the concrete floor, but they grouped all items (tools, garden supplies etc.) in their own areas, and as an unexpected bonus, cleaned and sorted my storage cupboards as well! It would have taken me hours if not days to do this on my own. Definitely money well spent.

The customer stated that it was a very nice experience.

I purchased Comprehensive Home Window Cleaning service for $199. The service description stated covering up to 20 windows and cleaning from inside and outside including the cleaning window screens. I have a standard 2 -story house with 22 windows (it's not one of those custom built homes). I was willing to pay for the additional 2 windows. When the cleaning crew showed up on 3/16/2016 they didn't have any ladder to clean high ceiling windows and they only cleaned the ground level windows from the inside. I talked to the manager and specifically mentioned that my main objective was to clean the high ceiling windows as a priority. He said he would send another crew to clean high ceiling windows and finish cleaning the windows from outside. On 3/29 the manager and the crew showed up to finish the cleaning. The manager tried charged me a lot more than the original price by counting each window as 2 or 3 windows indicating that standard window size is 32"x 60" and most of my windows are wider and came up with over 50 windows for his estimate. I showed him the service description from Angie's List, stated tha there is no statement about the window size. He told me he would clean 20 windows according to his standard. I was already upset about the way it was handled. I told him to clean the four high ceiling windows first and then the others windows up to 20 windows according to his calculation. They cleaned the most of the agreed windows but left out cleaning the high ceiling windows from the inside. My high ceiling windows still look dirty despite the fact that I spent $199 with this company. I was completely disappointed with the misleading service description as well as the not completing the job.

Now that we're inspecting a little closer, it turns out that they didn't touch the inside of the?garage doors at all (which are a mess). In the meantime, the supervisor was busy trying to sell us additional cleaning services. No, we won't use them again. In fact, we're going to see if they will come back and finish the job we already paid for.?

I had scheduled move-in cleaning for our new house along with carpet cleaning for 4 rooms and 2 staircases. I went over the details for the carpet cleaning multiple times while scheduling and was told that cleaners would arrive around noon, which was confirmed a few days in advance. However, the day before, I received a voicemail stating that the time had switched to 10:30-11am, without any explanation. The cleaners then actually arrived at 10am and seemed annoyed when I arrived around 10:15am. When I arrived, three cleaners were standing at my door looking annoyed and wouldn't even say "hi". After they started, I was told that they only had time to carpet clean one of my rooms, even though I had gone over the number of rooms in detail while scheduling. When I said that I would just find someone else to do it, I was told I'd have to pay anyway because they had rented the equipment. After arguing, they finally agreed to not charge me for the rental. In terms of the cleaning itself, the cleaners were not very careful even though I said that the walls had just been painted, and at one point one of them yanked the vacuum cord from upstairs which then slammed around the staircase while they pulled it up. They even put a pretty sizeable dent in the wall while vacuuming (which of course they denied...). One of the cleaners brought in fast food and the whole place smelled like fries. Another cleaner was on her phone most of the time. Only the kitchen was noticeably cleaner; everything else looked like it had been just barely wiped down. I would not hire them again.

The vendor was very communicative and friendly. They did a great job. They did arrive 1.5 hours early, but they started working on what they could outside until I arrived.

Did not keep the original appointment date had to reschedule for another day. late arrival for the appointment. The windows and sills were clean but they left windows open and unlocked. The patio door was not clean but said he had cleaned it.

Great. They were in and out quickly, did a great job and great one-time price. My townhouse is too small, however, to consider their $129-every-two-week contract, so I'll continue doing my own cleaning and call for the occasional whole-house cleaning.
