First, my wife and I did our homework before selecting Seneca Creek Home Improvement. We even received written estimates from over a dozen A-rated roofing companies. We chose Seneca Creek because of their price, warranty, and customer service. The project manager, Tim Bissell, was extremely knowledgeable, punctual, and honest. He answered our million and one questions with a genuine smile and expertise. As promised, his crew arrived on the agreed upon date and time; they were extremely friendly, and diligent. In fact, 99% of the work was done by the end of the first day. The crew foreman returned the following morning to wrap-up. Tim even dropped by periodically to ensure things were moving along to our satisfaction. And yes, we are very happy with the new, leak-free roof! The workmanship is top notch. Couldn't be happier with this service. Based on the location of the water damage and the age of our roof, Tim suggested a total replacement. He priced out a couple options and was able to show us another unit in our complex where he also replaced the roof. The replacement was done in a single day. Everything was handled promptly, efficiently, and professionally.

Tim Bissell, the Project manager, was very easy to work with. He answered all our questions and was very well informed. From the start, we felt we were dealing with an honest company. The installation took place in one long day. The crew showed up on time and worked until sundown. Because they had to clean up in the dark, they came back a second day to do a more thorough clean up of nails and shingles. Our old roof had leaks in several places and our skylight was also showing signs of aging. Seneca Creek used high quality materials (GAF) and didn't cut corners. We are very happy with the results.

Every thing was done on time as scheduled. If any problems occur they respond immediately. It was a pleasure working with them.

Jeff was FANTASTIC! Since finding carpenter ants in a room on one side of my home for which a nest could not be found, I was concerned that the ants were making their way into my home under the aluminum siding. I wanted someone who could tear if down, look for and repair any carpenter ant damage, insulate the home, and put up vinyl siding. (A knee jerk reaction to my panic of finding these wood destroyers in my home!) Jeff confirmed what the exterminator had told me earlier that day - that there was no need to take such drastic measures - especially given that it had only been 2 weeks since the ants were discovered. Jeff spent time investigating my siding to try to determine how the ants could be gaining entry besides my guess of the very bottom of the siding. He identified that I had wood around the window that wasn't wrapped at each end, that I needed caulk on one side of the window, and that I had a large HOLE behind a brick that would provide ample access to any insects. He advised me on how to take care of these issues. At my request, he gave me information on replacing the siding and windows and financing offers that are available so if I choose to replace these items in the future, I'd have some information to help me budget for that contingency. He was very personable and knowledgeable and certainly didn't need to spend a substantial amount of time educating me on options and offering his advice knowing that I was no longer an immediate potential client. I greatly appreciated this. I had been on edge about what these carpenter ants could be doing to my home since discovering them. His honesty has put me at ease and I won't hesitate to contact him when I'm financially ready to replace my windows and siding. Thanks Jeff!

Overall was an excellent experience. Was very easy to work with. Provided no pressure, friendly quote. At the time I spent a lot of time getting several quotes from several places, should have just used these guys from the start. Price was excellent for the roof size and type with skylights also replaced. The entire job was done in a single day, barely noticed they were there, very clean. Has been 8 months with no issues so qualitywas great too. Will definitely use again.

The company was easy to work with, which was a big plus since I was arranging the repair from out of state. They offered advice on product and color. The work was done on schedule and looks terrific. Neighbors contacted me to let me know how quick the work went and comment on how good the new roof looks.

We've been working with Jeff Leach for several years now, and our most recent experience with our roof was just as fantastic as the other work he's done for us in the past. We've got a lot of roof, and the way our house sits on our lot means that there are three stories to climb. Unlike some companies that do roofs, Jeff insists on tearing off the old before putting on the new regardless of how many layers of shingles there may be. His approach is that you want to know what is happening underneath, as you don't want to just cover up something like water damage. That was exactly what I wanted, and I'm glad he had the same take, as there was some significant water damage over our garage that already was home to ants. The crew was fantastic - fast, clean and very professional. After they left you could not even tell that we had a new roof installed; there was not one hint of trash or debris left. As for quality of product, Seneca uses excellent items, so we have no worries. At the same time Seneca was in our neighborhood (doing five houses' roofs total), one neighbor had a big box home improvement store re-do their roof. Doing a side-by-side comparison is no contest - Seneca's roof looks tighter and better any way you compare. If you need windows, exterior doors, a roof, or a garage door, call Seneca Creek.

I can't say enough about how pleased I am with the work that Seneca Creek Home Improvement performed on my roof. The estimate was 1 or 2 days to complete the job and it took just over 1. They let me know ahead of time when they were coming so I could move the cars out of the garage and did a great job of cleaning up after the work was done. Jeff (owner) was great to work with and really made me feel comfortable throughout the entire process. I had a recommendation from a friend about Seneca Creek and I was so impressed with Jeff and his sales approach that I didn't bother getting any other estimates - that is why I marked the price rating as 'N/A' since I don't have any other reference points. However I will say that I believe that I got exceptional workmanship and material for the money I paid. One of my main impressions was of how honest Jeff was, he was not at all the average pushy salesman type. He made suggestions but was very clear when he thought the more expensive option was not worth the money. I would (and already have) recommend him to all my friends.

They were good. They're forthright. They didn't try to sell me extra services. They do good work. They're friendly and they seemed knowledgeable.

It was time to replace our 21-year-old roof. Over the course of a year, we received quotes from no less than six companies that install roofs. While not the least expensive price quote, Seneca Creek won our business for three reasons. First, a significant number of our neighbors used Seneca Creek for roofing, windows, and siding, and they were all very pleased. Second, the company checked out with Angie's List, the BBB, and the State of Maryland. Finally, Tim, our salesman, was persistent but professional. He followed up when he said he would and checked back with us a few weeks later at a time when we were ready to move forward. Our roof was installed in day and looks beautiful. We've had it long enough now, particularly through a wet summer, to know that it is water tight and installed well. They did a very good job of cleaning up, and Tim followed through with everything he said he would do. We are very happy with the quality of the work and the customer service.

They were friendly and prompt. They were also willing to work with my insurance company in regards to the repairs.

It was $3800 for townhouse; $6000 for single family house. Yes, I would hire this companyfor the future.

He listens to your needs and provides alternatives to suite your needs. Work was done ahead of schedule. Crew was highly professional and efficient. We took several estimates on having our roof replaced and ultimately chose Seneca Creek to do the job. We were most impressed with Jeff and his level of knowledge and perceived commitment to quality work. We were not disappointed! We got everything we asked for with no surprises and the work and products exceeded our expectations. Having such a great experience with our roof we asked him back to discuss replacing some windows and exterior doors. Again, we trusted Seneca Creek with the work. We were so impressed with the time Jeff took in helping us choose the right products for our home. There were a lot of considerations about home security and even door colors and Jeff's patience with this process was superb. We could not be more happy with the job and two years later we are still thrilled with the look of our roof, doors and windows.....not to mention the decrease we saw in our electric and gas bills. We would definitely use Seneca Creek again. We only wish he did bathroom renovations!

They showed up on time, completed the work on schedule, and cleaned up very well. Tim was professional, responsive, and punctual in managing the project. The team found one of our old skylights was damaged and I had them replace both. The only downside was that my small townhouse yard didn't give them much space to throw the old roofing materials off the roof so there was some damaged branches on the dogwood tree in the front yard. You might consider asking them to use a chute in the future.

I met with the company representative in December, 2011. He took the time to explain the services of the company and the product manufacturer (CertainTeed) to me. After reviewing about 5 other companies, I chose this one. I had an issue with providing proper venting to the roof and I didn't like the initial suggestions the company provided. They listened to me and we came to a solution involving the EdgeVent by a company named AirVent. The shingles were delivered and rain held up work for 2 days. After the rain, the company stripped off 2 layers of shingles, replaced some of the underlying wood and put on a new roof in one day. I was happy to pay this company for a job well done.

I was very impressed with Jeff's professionalism and work ethic as well as that of his entire crew. They really do live out their commitment to "...assist clients in good stewardship" and I would not hesitate to hire them again.

From start to finish the work went very well. There were no surprises and are very happy with the Job Seneca Creek did.

They were on time, very professional, and the work was of the high test quality. Cleanup was thorough. We noticed a rip in one of our window screens about a week after the work was done. Jeff immediately came to the house and picked it up for repair. We have zero complaints.
