We had a great experience with this company. They contacted me within minutes of requesting assistance via Home Advisor. They were able to get someone to my house within 3 hours that same day to assess the situation. We were put immediately on their schedule for an appointment two days later. Their professional was thorough and courtesy while he was here. I have switched extermination companies to Senate and can heartily recommend them.

Mixed review here... after submitting help on home advisor Senate was the first to respond. Offered an appointment in the next 2 days. Told the salesman (Chad) my problems ...big ant issue outside (in the yard and patio) and sometimes ants in kitchen. Chad sold me on a plan for big initial work and quarterly maintenance. Day of appointment... tech did show on time but immediately made me aware some of the services promised they did not do because I had **basic** package and also Senate cannot treat anything behind 3ft from my house. Said that **salesman was being salesman** and was a common issue. I let the tech complete the service and then I immediately call Chad. Explained to Chad what happened and 10 minutes later a manager called me (I believe the name was Brian). He further explained that I have a **basic** package and my issues need to be taken care of by **lawn care**. Sir, there were no packages to choose from. I told Chad my issues and I thought Senate was going to address them. The manager did offer to have the tech come back and spray or treat the whole lawn but at this point, I was not completely satisfied so I declined the offer. I felt like Chad either did not understand what I needed or was just saying yes yes yes to get my signature. At the end of the conversation with his manager, I decided to cancel any follow-up services... at least for now. I will just do some research and take care of the problems myself. So they were not terrible but wish it was explained to me better by salesman...it could have saved me the headache and initial $199 service charge.

They came within a day of my call. The service tech, Josh, was careful with social distancing and my house. He was fast and clean and took video in my attic to review everything with me. A perfect visit.

The follow-up appointment had to be rescheduled due to an administrative error?... The scheduled technician was off the day for the follow-up. Times given for appointments do not meet the actual times. Had to call to confirm. No communication from either the company or technician that time has changed.

I hired Senate because they claim to be one of the only companies to use gas/smoke to get rid of moles. I also hired them to get rid of carpenter bees up by my roof line. In all, they came to my house a total of 8 times and did not resolve one issue, even after spending $1,250.00 in total for both services. In a nutshell, the sales guy feeds you a bunch of promises they can't actually perform, their scheduling is horrible, they don't have enough Techs, they don't bring the right equipment, they don't have ladders taller than 20 feet (can't kill carpenter bees on 2 story house) and they will waste a lot of your time. I'll try to explain my issues as both services were happening at the same time. Mole Removal It took them almost two weeks to put together the contract for the mole removal because of miscommunication between the office and the Tech. On the first visit, the Tech but didn't bring the right equipment. I had to reschedule for another week. Second visit they put the gas/smoke in the tunnels. Two days later the moles were back. It took 2 weeks to schedule the third visit. On that visit, a Tech came from VA because no Techs from MD were available. He didn't have the equipment to perform the work, so he laid down mice traps. Yes I said it...mice traps. Moles live underground. I had to get a Manager involved and on the forth visit, they did another application with the gas/smoke. Two days later the moles were back. I had to wait another week for another Tech to show for the fifth visit. The Manager promised that the Tech would show with right equipment, but they Tech showed up with no equipment and was going to lay down mole bait. Basically the stuff you get from Home Depot. While the Tech was there, I called and spoke with the office, and instead of resolving the problem, they just asked me if I wanted my $625 back. I guess they just gave up. The crazy thing is that the Tech told me they have always had issues with the gas/smoke equipment working and it doesn't solve the problem, but they keep selling the service. Carpenter Bee Removal Sales guy sold me everything but a solution. I had carpenter bee holes are on the roof line in the front (2 stories) and the back (3 stories). For $625, they guaranteed carpenter bee removal. First visit, the Tech never rang the door bell, but left a note saying he performed the treatment. I knew he couldn't have because when I went outside to check, the bees were still flying all around and going in/out their holes. Second visit was a week later and the Tech showed up without a ladder. Spoke with the manager and she promised that the Tech would show up with a ladder on the next visit. Third visit was to resolve my bee and mole issue by the same Tech, but the Tech showed up without a ladder...AGAIN. On the third visit, the guy shows up with a ladder, but it wasn't tall enough. He said he didn't know why the guy sold me the service because he should have known they couldn't do the service. After a few days, the office called me to say they couldn't perform the work and would refund my money. I spend a lot of days waiting and weeks/months rescheduling visits. I've never had this bad of a service from any company.

We had a horrendous rat population explosion as a result of feeding birds. Senate's technicians were wonderful. Initially, we were skeptical their system would work because the rats were leery of the bait boxes at first and wouldn't go near them. (They're smart and suspicious of any change in their environment.) Took them about two weeks to get used to the sight of them, but once they lost their fear of the boxes, they "took the bait", completely emptied two of the containers, and, voila, no more rats! Senate was also sensitive to our concern for wildlife and was willing to collect the boxes a week early once we were certain the rats were gone. Recommend this company highly if rats are your problem!

They were very informative about my options, They came out quickly and on time and I feel like the did a good job.

My experience was great

Initial Tech failed to inform me that my family will have to leave the house for 2 hours in order to treat the interior of the home. Initial tech did not listen to my requested treatment area.

The Young Men were polite, professional, and educated me about the entire process and my Pest problem.

All of the staff (both Chris and Logan) we worked with were very professional courteous. Logan did an exceptional job!
