RHS was wonderful during our home inspection. We learned so much about our house, pointers on taking care of it, and a detailed list of major and minor problems with the house (including photos!). Our family is out-of-state and we were purchasing our first house without their help or experience, so we were very apprehensive about making the right choice. They were blown away with our detailed home inspection report and remarked that that had wished their home inspectors (in Ohio and Florida) had been as thorough as RHS! Without a doubt we would contact RHS again and have recommended RHS to friends already. Couldn't have been happier.

David was punctual, courteous, and professional. He did a thorough job with the home inspection on an older home that my parents are considering purchasing. They wanted to know everything about the condition, and they got exactly that. David preferred that he be accompanied so that he could explain all the details. He didn't just do an inspection and provide a report. He explained with care, so that my parents would be clear on the issues. Now we have the information we need to make our decision. Dave inspected an older home and knew what was normal and what was not. He was explained things in a clear manner and pays great attention to detail. Doesn't aim to scare you but wants you to know what you are getting into. I've used him before and will use him again if the opportunity presents itself.

David is very knowledgeable, thorough, and courteous. He patiently noted and explained many things about our house that went beyond his responsibilities as an inspector, and answered my many questions as well. Some of the things he taught me have helped tremendously as we settled into our first home. His report was thorough and very timely (same day I think). I think he is absolutely worth the cost and would not hesitate to recommend him or turn to him again in the future.

The inspection was scheduled for 9:00 am and when I arrived at 8:45 am Dave was parked in front of the house. He was very pleasant and gave me a run-down of the service. We started outside and went around the exterior of the house and he used binoculars to check the roof. He gave some maintenance pointers along the way and was very patient in answering my questions. The inside inspection was very thorough. He checked all outlets, made sure doors closed and windows opened. Checked the kitchen appliances and all faucets. We opted to have a radon test done as well. The inspection and debriefing with my realtor and I took about three hours. House is 4200 square feet with a two-car garage. I was very pleased with the service and would hire him again.

Robert was very thorough with the inspection. Our potential home had some roof damage that to us (1st time homebuyers) seemed OK, but as it turns out it needed the whole roof replaced. We were lucky enough to have the Seller pay for a brand new roof. Thanks to his thorough inspection, we saved around 9K. Very detailed and communicative and extremely punctual. I definitely would recommend to anyone.

While he found more things than I would have liked to be present, I'm glad he was there. Both my wife's and my parents were there and he did a great job to explain what was wrong, how it could be fixed, and how to maintain it. The report was around 14 pages long and included color photos and a description of each flaw.

The inspection went pretty well. My only complaints are that while the old smoke detector was noted the three brand new ones were missed, and malfunctioning door hardware was missed.

Everything worked great; he did a good job. I am a realtor and he worked for one of my buyers. He did a great job. He is not the cheapest and he is not the most expensive. I will be recommending him.

This was the 2nd house that Dave inspected for me. Just like the first time - he had already started on the roof before I even got there. I've had a couple of specialists come take a look at some things he mentioned, and they were just as thorough as Dave and found the same things. As specialists - I thought maybe they would find more than Dave did, but he nailed it all on the more generalist home inspection. Every place on the internet says that a home inspection is somewhere between 400 and 500 and he was right in the middle, so the price is good.

It went fine. Not only did he arrive on time, and inspect everything completely, he provided advice and comments about the home.

Excellently. He arrived a few minutes early at the house on a morning where the weather was 'wintry mix.' He was extraordinarily thorough (in a previous position as an insurance agent/underwriter for a major ins co I often review home inspections; many are vague or have many omissions, this inspection was among the best). e explained each element of what he looks for and how it is inspected and was especially careful to point out what he could not see or check as he is not permitted to open walls, etc.

I enjoyed working with RHS and found David to be very professional. He showed up on time and responded to all my calls promptly. Also it was easy to schedule and confirm details either though the office or via e-mail. David knew a lot about houses and construction, and I valued all the advice he gave me during the home inspection. The pictures he took for the home inspection report helped me get a big credit for the home purchase. David also responded by phone and e-mail to some general, follow-up questions I had about home maintenance issues after the home inspection -- much appreciated.

David arrived early and started the exterior inspection right away. He asked me to follow along with him through the home inspection so he could provided detailed information as he reviewed each area of the house. He also provided some excellent general home repair and maintenance advice. The home inpsection report was sent to me via e-mail later that evening. I highly recommend RHS Inspections!

Detailed inspection of condo before closing. Full report provided same day so that builder could address any remaining issues before their final walkthrough two days later. Courteous, experienced, and very helpful in describing various systems in the home.

David, the owner arrived early. He did a very thorough job inspecting this 110 year old housethat I had placed under contract to buy. He pointed out many issues and possible solutions. He also pointed out issues that were not repairable. He also pointed out the very nice things. I think he saved me from purchasing a home that would have been a headache

I've used them twice. They were excellent! These guys were very punctual and very professional. Actually he got there before I got there and I live much closer than he does. He explains a lot of things to me and he provided me an email of his findings.

This is the second time that I have used RHS to inspect a home that I had a contract on. Overall he is excellent and I do not think you can go wrong with him. David showed up early to the house and had already started looking at the perimeter. Once I was there I followed him around for the better part of four hours where he pointed out issues, from large to small. He has a very extensive knowledge of houses and has a good eye for what is right and what is wrong. He goes into crawlspaces, opens practically all of the windows and doors, checks electrical outlets and plumbing, and ensures that the HVAC is operating correctly. Along the way he took numerous photos and notes on his iPad. He walked though his assessment at the end of the appointment and promptly sent a detailed report later that evening. I have no qualms about recommending RHS. David is thorough, knowledgable, and very personable.
