R&L Pressure Washing Painting and Decking

Per our HOA demands, we had to power wash and stain deck. I called several deck specialists on Angies List and Luis answered promptly, and gave me a quote right after I texted him photos and a few details. Surprisingly, his price was as competitive as those others who needed square footage, etc. which was in itself a pain to figure out. Who has time to measure? One other was also professional but the waiting time was more than a month. Luis came within a few days, was on time, and professional and I thought his work was meticulous and thorough. Never at any time did I feel he rushed to do the job to leave as soon as he could. When I asked him if he would include the small area of our concrete stoop, he happily did it. I felt that R&L was worth my money. Good job Luis! Thank you for your good work.

The team did a great job on power washing my home. The vinyl siding was so dirty with mildew and other things growing on the house. Luis and his team power washed the house, carefully removing dirt and mildew. The house looks so bright and clean. They also power washed the deck and applied a seal. The deck looks great and I'm looking forward to using it soon. I used two coupons and received a good price for the entire job!

Started out with just a power washing and stripping and staining job , then we discovered the wood was too far gone, so we had to replace the deck. Luis and his crew demoed and removed everything and rebuilt our deck, a rather large one (~2000sq ft.), sanded it and stained it in less than a week. It was a bit of a rush job, a few screws missing here and there but understandable and easy to correct. Quality for the most part was good and there were a few sloppy cuts initially however, they fixed what wasn’t perfect. Overall, I’d give them a B+ to A-. Price was a good deal as well.

Luis and his team performed a high quality job pressure washing my house and the steps leading to the porch. They were courteous and professional at all times. Luis explained to me different options and worked to provide the great service. I expanded the scope of work from the original conversation. The team worked to accommodate my schedule. I reviewed all the work after they were done and found it to be impeccable. The house and steps look great. I would hire them again.

Called multiple times. Each time I was told some date the estimate will be provided. Never got the estimate but just some excuses...

They were wonderful. I’m so happy with the results. The green algae is gone and our white vinyl siding is so much brighter.

The professionals from R & L Power Washing did an outstanding job. My almost 25 year-old deck was quite in need of refinishing. Although it had only been stained once in the 25 years (clear sealer every other time) some of the stain remained and it look quite uneven. The men worked extremely hard and I was surprised at how good they were able to make the deck look. It certainly does not look 25 years old now -- and no more splinters. I am happy to see it look so nice when I go out there now -- and to have the wood better maintained and protected. I really appreciate the hard and quality work they did, and at a much better price than some other estimates (having the Angie's Deal did help!).

Work went well, there were some slowdowns due to weather, but you can't sand a wet deck. As soon as the deck was dry again, they were back out doing a great job. Would hire again

Mr Ortiz came on the first day and power washed a deck, a gazebo and our home. Shortly thereafter, his team of professionals refinished the deck and gazebo. The work was promptly and excellently done. His workers cleaned up after the job was completed. At all stages of the project he was accessible and within hours responded to all of my questions. Mr. Ortiz anticipated the weather and adjusted the work schedule so as not to not have the work messed up by the rain. Overall, I recommend M & L very highly.

I was putting my house on the real estate market and needed it to be power washed - badly. Luis was able to fit me into his tight schedule. They even arrived a few minutes earlier than the scheduled time and was done within the promised timeframe. The exterior of the house looked great in the pictures taken by the realty company.

Mr. Ortiz did a wonderful job. He came on time, did all and a little more than we had agreed to, and stayed as long as he told us he would take to do the job. He offered us a very competitive bid and did everything he said he would do. I would highly recommend him for any pressure washing you may need. The house looks new!

Luis returned my call right away, came by the house within hours (I think I got lucky he happened to be on another job nearby), examined the deck in detail as it's about 20 years old and needed some work like a few boards replaced. He provided a quote the very next day and we were able to schedule the job within a few days. Because it was so many different things the project had to be spread out over a few days but Luis always called or texted to make sure we knew what was going on. There were a few really rainy days in the middle of all this work too but the communication was great. Would definitely call Luis the next time we needed pretty much anything he does! (Side note, on the last day of our job his wife had a baby! Congratulations to him and his beautiful family. Even through having his third child he still kept us in the loop - what a pro!)

No call, no email showed up at my door. Looked at the deck and sent an email for $400. Dec is not 108 sq ft larger than the 200 sq ft at $ 275. Not very professional. No response from my email rejecting pricing.

They did a great job doing an external window washing in April 2017. I would definitely recommend and will be hiring them again in 2018.

Luis is awesome! We are a repeat customer! He is very responsive, provides a fair & accurate quote, and is very polite/courteous. He arrived on time and did a beautiful job! The cleaning was very thorough and the windows are sparkling clean. The gutters were really dirty and he scrubbed them until they were 100% clean. He worked hard and took his time to ensure everything was spotless. We will definitely use R&L again!

Would you hire a deck installer that didn't know how to measure or make a mitered corner? R and L Pressure Washing notched in the Trex plank in the wrong place; the deck railing was not properly mitered; and the Trex planks were not securely fastened in a corner. See photographs. Despite my repeated requests, R and L has failed to return to correct these problems.

Luis was professional, punctual and attentive starting with the initial estimate (came by the same day I called) to the final service. He even detailed my deck as a courtesy (before applying the sealant) to address areas where a different provider did not adequately remove mold/dirt. Great experience, reasonable cost, and quality work.

It looks fantastic and very very clean. He cleaned up and did a wonderful job.

The team showed up on time and started work right away. Everything was done exceptionally well. The job took 2 days, and they clean up the job site when they were done. I was very happy with the job. My only complaint is they were unable to return in time to replace the patio furniture back on the deck after the stain dried before I had to use it.

It went well. This company worked with me to re-schedule staining the deck, because of the weather. The people from this company are flexible.

Company did not show up 3 times. Company had problems with its scheduling methods. evidently times and dates of service are not put on a calendar or schedule. Hire them to clean gutters also. Clean gutters for no charge because of the inconvenience caused.
