It went well as they were very responsive, prompt and communicated very well. Installing an outside vent was a challenge, but they were very effective in planning and finishing the work. They worked well with other contractor and kept all appointments while completing all work on time. Communication during the different service dates for the different appliances was critical, and they were always responsive. In the end, they reduce the estimated price because they said a gas line was easier to run than they initially estimated - quite an example of honesty.

Quality Kitchens subcontracts with Sears/Great Indoors for dishwasher installations. Instead of the $99 "standard install", they had to re-route the piping, close off a pipe and get into the drywall. The additional work cost an extra $165. Not entirely unexpected -- the dishwasher they replaced was about 20 years old. The 2-person team arrived on time, were professional, and were able to do the extra work without having to reschedule.

Before they came, we thought some more about whether it would be better for the stove rim to sit on the existing tile rather than fit into a hole cut into the tile. I experimented with a spare piece of bullnose ceramic tile and found that I could easily cut it accurately with a Dremel tool and a diamond cutting wheel. So in the event that QK could install the stove on top of the tile, I went ahead and neatly shaved the bullnose so the stove rim would sit flat. QK and we would decide together if it would be better for the strips of tile to be cut away. When they came, we agreed to try it sitting on top of the tile, and we are very happy with that decision. They quickly and professionally rerouted the gas line which required altering the pipes, carefully moved the stove into position, and assembled and tested it. Then they crossed out the work from the estimate that they had not had to do -- shave and cut tile -- which cut the cost by more than half. They were thoroughly professional and considerate. I would not hesitate to use them again or to recommend them. This was a small job but they did it superbly. The only complaint I have is that twice I asked their office, by email (replying to the address they sent the estimate from), to confirm the scheduled appointment in writing. They never replied. But when I called, they confirmed the date and early on the morning of the appointment they called and told us the 3-hour window when they would appear. I would think that a business would be happy to furnish the written confirmation, since we are more comfortable with that. This is the only reason for downgrading responsiveness to "B" and does not alter my overall rating of A.

They did an outstanding job. The two-person team called in advance, arrived on time as scheduled, answered my questions carefully, and performed the work efficiently. We had a new fridge, electric range/oven, and dishwasher installed. I had several questions about technical details, and they answered these well. They were also very careful to not damage doors and floors in moving the heavy appliances. They had small parts on hand to complete the job in one go. I am a very exacting customer and was very impressed with the quality of this team and their professionalism.

Overall, the job(s) went perfectly: each of three parts of the total job was done with excellent results. First, the dryer was delivered, then we called and arranged for company's return the following week, to install the vent and alter the plumbing to enable the dryer's steam drying capability. The same two company representatives came both times, were timely, did a thorough job, tested their work and were cordial and professional.

They arrived on time, they completed the work without any problems and charged the price they quoted over the phone.

THE COMPANY WAS PUNCTUAL. THEY REMOVED THE OLD COUNTER AT NO EXTRA COST. THEY DID AN EXCELLENT JOB INSTALLING THE NEW COUNTER. I WOULD RECOMMEND THEIR SERVICES AS WELL AS USE THEM AGAIN MYSELF.

CALLED AHEAD TO SAY WHEN THEY WERE COMING. TOOK TIME TO DO A GOOD JOB AND CLEANED UP AFTER THEMSELVES. ALLOWED ME TIME TO CLEAN IN AREAS THAT ARE USUALLY NOT ACCESSIBLE. FRIENDLY AND ANSWERED ALL MY QUESTIONS.
